Blender reminds me of a famous quote from the guy who invented C++, something about it having so much power you could easily shoot your OWN FOOT off...... But BOY do I love having that power!! lol thanks for the vid.
Could you do a video about your room lighting and green screen setup? The blue and red lights on your face work very well combined with your green screen implementation.
Hello! It's a pretty improvised setup The green screen is a piece of green fabric I've bought (for a very cheap price) in a cloth store. I have a string that goes from wall to wall and the green screen is there like a curtain. For lights I use: 1- A pretty broken industrial light (on top of a guitar amplifier, mostly to avoid shadows in the green screen) 2- My second monitor (I put Google Chrome to get a pretty white screen) 3- The flashlight of my smartphone aimed to my face from above 4- For the blue light I use the iPad, I open Procreate and paint the canvas blue. So yeah, just try to use whatever you have around that makes light
@@SimonSanchezArt I appreciate that kind of hacks a lot. Which camera you're using? The lights you describe have pretty low lumen output and I'd have expected huge amount of noise in the video but it looks clean.
@@MikkoRantalainen yes it has a ton of noise, for camera I use a Logitech c922. It has a lot of noise, I use handbrake to remove it. I have a tutorial in my channel on how to do so. Hope it was helpful!
No options button in my Blender. They move it under the Active Tool and Workspaces tab. Nothing about this makes sense though. If I chose cursor to world origin, nothing happens. Yet if I select selection to cursor, it snaps the origin to the world cursor.
An addon (not a free one. Sorry) with a tutorial, to set origins of multiple objects to bottom faces: ruclips.net/video/zYZmfUoV-to/видео.html might be helpful for some of your viewer
It's always the smaller videos that come in clutch. Thank you so much, this was annoying me for ages.
Tool > Options >Transform > Affect Only > there check 'Origins' and it works for position and rotation as well.
3 years later, still helping - thank a lot for the quick help!
Glad it was useful!
Here to just click "like" button. Thanks! Very helpful.
Thank you so much
Thanks!
Great tutorial. Big thank you from another internet stranger.

In the View menu (on the 3D viewport) activate Tool Settings. Alternatively, it also appears on the Sidebar (N) on the Tool tab.
