  • Kristian Blummenfelt has almost won it all in just the space of a year. Olympic champion, World Series champion, IM World Champion and Sub 7 champion - the Norwegian has dominated triathlon for the past 12 months.
However, sometimes it's harder to stay on top than it is to get there, particularly with teammate and best friend Gustav Iden hungry for success and the legendary Jan Frodeno returning from injury to try and reclaim his crown as the best triathlete in the world.
Get an insight into the mindset of an athlete that dedicates his life to the sport of triathlon. Living and breathing every moment, not only to be the best, but because he'd rather be doing nothing else.

I rewatched the olympic run recently. Between that, the Canadian open and Kona.. I actually believe Kristian is willing to basically die to win.. dude vomitted across the line at the Olympics.. how deep does an elite athelete with a 90+ V02 max have to go to to collapse across the line.. crazy

Folk don’t realize training in the Nordics is very tough: short days with lack of sunshine, snow, freezing temperatures. So to be top of your game you have to be double as motivated and committed. #Respect 🙌😎🇫🇮

One extremely driven professional, talented triathlete is KB. Watchout pro triathletes, there's arguably another 10 years of KB on the start line !

    Tough competitor
Tho Jan is injured even so Christian seems faster. And Jan is getting older, recovers less well, comes back from injuries less well

Good athlete...just a little cocky. Time flies brother. Time flies and pendulums swing... watch out...can you those footsteps. They are getting closer. Faster.
