Hi Faisal - Appreciate your reviews but CRV Petrol is something which is not meant to be revved hard rather the owner in this segment prefers the seat comfort and the engine noise along with the soothing interiors. I as a owner of 2019 CRV Petrol would compliment the back seat comfort, butter smooth engine and excellent interiors quality. As Mr. Jean Babu said there is a lot which can be changed in the vehicle settings. Compared to Kodiaq - CRV seems more comfortable and relaxing to drive. Keep up the good work!
you should review the 2006 model of the cr-v petrol, we still have it since august 2006 and it still runs amazing till today. the model we had was imported from Japan because it had not started assembling in India at that time. it is amazing

faisal u did everything right except the drive u did not use sports mode instead u drove the car in drive that’s why you could not feel the punch from the motor and that is the reason the car also revved extremely slowly you can check in the video while doing the first launch u said u put it in sports but by mistake it was in drive
I think automatic isn't the problem, torque converter gearbox atleast gives some VTEC feel, CVT is the problem. I had the 2.4L 2010 CRV AT. Atleast it screameddd

Can we see a pattern here? Honda, for some reason, (apparently) is trying to push their diesel engines more. Most Honda cars don't have top end variants with petrol engine. Why would they do that when their diesel engines aren't as refined and the petrol engines are enthusiasts' favourite?

When you engage a new gear , it responds a bit late , less responsive to higher gear inputs , doesn't pull instantly . That's called rubber band effect.

Honda should give a manual gearbox with crv and civic

My crv has 2.4 giving 166hp 0-100 takes about 9 seconds and yeah it is amt with a torque converter
So for modern Honda's, D-TEC is better than V-TEC?
I own CR-V 2010 , 2.4 AWD, CVT gearbox , just love the drive... This one feels sluggish... CVT+AWD= VTEC kicks in yo..
You can change the lock and unlock option from setting menu. There is a specific menu for that
CVT isn't as robust as hydraulic automatic transmission. It doesn't launch the car from standstill as powerfully.
