Enjoyed the video being British the main lake in Hyde Park is the Serpentine which I used to be able to walk to from my grandmothers apartment on the south side of the park that goes back over 20 years ago. It was also close to Harrods the famous department store and Buckingham Palace where the Queen stays when in London. When you announced what’s in your bag and you were going to London I thought uh oh you need a fleece and rainwear! Hope you get to London again there is so much to visit. Nowadays I only go to London on business from Edinburgh although I don’t know when next with Covid-19.

Major Australian airlines seperate domestic and international crew so I admire your airline so much for having the freedom! Hope you enjoyed my hometown ! So many things to see and do. I used to fly around the world for 12 years delivering packages. When I saw the part where you said you were starting to feel tired, it brought the memories back and I remembered how knackered I always used to be whenever I went somewhere. Welcome to business class. I was so lucky, all my flights were on business class. Nowadays I still fly business for holidays, and I still get that excited feeling! P.s. Other than a heatwave in London at the moment - about 98F, it rains so much and is often overcast. Thanks for the video!

Some of us million-milers that fly US to UK in business window seats don't fixate upon our phones or the IFE but actually enjoy flying and the special opportunity our travel gives us to look out the window - even during night (especially when there is a nice moon) and observe wave behavior on the ocean or ship lights below, cloud stratigraphy, and the Northern Lights. It is always a battle to get the flight attendant (FA) to let us keep the window shade up since the crew prefers a dark cabin at sunrise to keep passengers asleep and undemanding for as long as possible. Short of constantly leaning across the window to keep the FA from noticing my shade is up, how would like us to handle this? Keep in mind that aerial sunrises are often spectacular, especially when Europe has layers of clouds.

Do you think its appropriate to request for a second serving if there are left overs? and even in business class, I have not seen a cabin crew asking if a passenger require an additional main course in case of left overs, considering all that left over meals are trashed once you reach your destination.

I have flown business class on American to NRT and PVG on 777-200. This was a while ago, so there was a middle seat, and it was 2-3-2 configuration. I’ve never thought of cheese and fruit could be considered as desert, but learned that on American. There used to be really good filet mignon in Business Class. I have not fly international for several years now. I do miss it. All the Flagship Services.

I live near Oxford in the UK and London is a great place to visit. I worked at Heathrow airside building terminal 5 as a digger driver back in 2006/7. Love the smell of kerosene and burning rubber. I was at the parking spot where they parked a brand new unmarked A380 after watching it land, I'm sure it was the test plane before it was released, they backed it up to the fence next to our site, we were 30 metres behind it and the height of the tail fin was ridiculous the whole site just stopped and stood staring at it for ages

If you want to try something great but not in so much of a tourist spot please come to a place called Bethnal Green it’s on the Central line on the London Underground and you can find the most amazing Italian family ran cafe E Pelicci stunning food and stunning service you have to visit and film it! I go their often and they remember my name every time all home made food and in their family for over 100 years. Brother sister cousin and mum all work their it’s a special place. If you go for lunch I highly recommend the steak pie with homemade pastry get it with hand cut chips and broccoli in cheese sauce. Also their coffee is to die for. Hope you get to come again. London is one of my favorite cities to visit. If you can, I recommend a restaurant called Muriel's Kitchen. It's not far from Harrod's. Also, there are many museums along Cromwell Road to visit. I even saw the last Star Wars movie at the Science Museum in London while on holiday a few years back. Lastly, I suggest buying an Oyster Card. It is reloadable and allows you to take the tube and the bus all around the city. The tube is very easy to navigate. You can always find your way back to where you started. I've never even taken surface streets from Heathrow to the city. I've only used the Underground. Hope these suggestions are helpful. Really enjoyed your vlog!

London is my favorite city to fly to in Europe. The airport is so easy to get around. Heathrow that is!

Whoo hoo you made it to the UK! I wasn't in London, but flew into Manchester (from Buffalo via O'Hare) in April 2008 and had the adventure of a lifetime. Still hard to believe I was flying so far all by myself. Unprecedented for me. Terrified? YES. But the nerves were worth it. Yeah, that British weather is temperamental ! I find it fascinating how fast it can change. I got wet out there but also a wee bit sunburn lol. That was a lovely tour you took us on, thank you. Aren't those red phone booths cool. Same with that sweatshirt you bought! Very interesting scoop on business class too.
One thumbs up is not enough!

      @JettingJulia  5 лет назад

Thank you for such a nice comment Scott! I would love to visit Manchester one day! The weather did change quite often even in the short amount of time I was there. Traveling/flying alone can definitely be scary but it's also really empowering too. Business class is awesome and totally upgrades the inflight experience.

@@JettingJulia There was definitely something empowering about the experience. When I called my mom after I made it to the other side of the pond, she almost cried she was so proud. Thankfully there wasn't too much turbulence, which is the most nerve wracking for me. Considering also that I have anxiety as well as autism, I guess it was a major accomplishment :) Appreciate the reply!

@@toobydude41 That's so sweet that your mom was so happy for you! Traveling (anywhere) is such an amazing and unique experience. Turbulence can definitely be nerve wracking. That's incredible that you made such a large leap despite your mental health, travel should be accessible for EVERYONE!

I won't mention names, but most BC I've flown the cabin refer to you by your last name Mr or Ms etc....I guess AA doesn't as you would not have had time to familiarize names. It would seem that purser would have organized the team before the flight. Nonetheless, glad you got to experience BC!

New subscriber here from the UK. Brilliant Vlog. Am curious though, as you are on standby, do you have to be cleared to fly to any destination that your company fly's to, i.e visas etc?
I guess DFW is your home base, have flow there with BA and then on down to AUS with your company. That's a pretty big airport you have there!
Keep up the good work with the Vlogs, they are very watchable.

Hi. When you showed the seat map of the 777-300, what did the star and different colors mean? Is the star a EP or Key?

    • @JettingJulia

It represent different, certain colors represent different status, the star represents a special passenger for example a passenger with a service animal, wheelchair etc, pet in cabin etc.

You'll get the most out of a trip to London if you have a companion, walking around a new City on your own is exciting but it can get a bit restricted with fun things you can do. I am from England and I remember walking around New York on my own, Times square and 42nd street, and that was 1979...the bad old days of New York!....see if you can bring your Man next time, you'll love it.

Juia.. Only come across your channel two days ago due to covid 19 .. (by the way, alice springs Australia is about the safest place to be).. Love aviation. Have flown many times in my 20 years in Australia domestically and to my home in the US. Have flown Quantas and United business with mixed results on both. It would seem like having a flight attendant as jubirant as you would be a bonus, considering all I get is old hags.. Keep doing the good thing, and hopefully this shit gets through in the next few months so you all can get back to work. (as well as my girls who work hospitality here).. Keep flying!
