This is interesting and I enjoyed this video . I own alot of a bags from the brands . I have a real Hermes and a ‘fake’ hermes kelly. The Kelly I took with me to hermes once and the sell’s representative thought it was real so did the customer near me . I let them know it was not from the hermes brand lol. The customer wanted to know where I bought it *suluxy* so she could get one like it lol. Honestly I was not embarrassed about it but was amused that everyone thought it was real . :)
Fully agree. I used to love the South lounge at T5. It was super chill and felt exclusive but now all the Club lounges in T5 seem too crowded and generally have a bad vibe. 😢
You are a natural presenter. And I just enjoy your ramblings. Keep going but be real. I like you’ve got a real job. Makes you specifically so and relatable. Huge hug.
@ ignore the typo I’ve watch you grow in confidence and even when the content was a little pedestrian - sorry - that charm and gentle humour always shone through. How you make me care about the price of a box of tea bags is a triumph and down to your skill at making me interested in your opinion. What I really like from all your videos is that you never seem intimidated by the surroundings. That takes confidence and chutzpah. What a lovely surprise to see you on here Hannah. It was lovely having you on board and looking after you to LAX. Amazing Vlog. Thank you for remembering me and look forward flying with you again in the near future. Just getting ready for my Dubai flight. Take care and stay in contact. Nawaz ❤

Lovely of you to comment on this video. I'm certain she appreciates it as much as she appreciated your excellent care of you on the flight. Thank you for your brilliant customer service.
We have pretty much stopped flying across the pond - even on business class. Before then, we flew Virgin Upper Class. The Heathrow lounge is spectacular and there is a Virgin arrivals lounge where we would have a nice leisurely breakfast/lunch and take a shower before taking a car into central London. Jet lag has gotten us to take the QM2, although it means flying from SFO to JFK the day before and spending one night in Manhattan before sailing to Southampton. Extremely civilized way to cross the pond with no jet lag. Need the time for the trip. We now do it both ways. Cost (for a balcony room for 2 on the QM2) including airfare across the US is less than business class from SFO to LHR round trip. Being retired gives us the time.
We have. From Southampton to NYC is even better since you get five nights of one extra hour. We arrive in the morning and fly back to SFO in the late afternoon. So no hotel in NYC on the return. Early purchase of tickets normally gets a better price. We often buy through Costco Travel which gives us Costco gift cards as an additional bonus.
@@HR-ii6ue We typically paid about $6000-$6500 round trip Upper Class per person from SFO to LHR. I think it is somewhat cheaper now. We typically pay about $3500-$4000 or so for the two of us one way on the QM2 for a sheltered balcony cabin, so about $7000-$8000 round trip, plus $1600 or so round trip air from SFO-JFK, and $500 for a hotel in NYC going (no need for a hotel to return), so under $10,000 total for QM2 plus air and hotel. I just looked at Virgin Upper Class and it looks like a SFO-LHR round trip is about the same.
I really enjoy watching Hannah’s videos because not only is she funny, but also her honesty. She will walk you through every single detail, which is fantastic, and most importantly, she’ll take her time and won’t rush into anything. Thank you Hannah ❤
I was saving this for a special day but I can't wait any longer 😂. I LOVE traveling with you Hannah, makes me feel like I'm on holiday for an hour!! Thx 💖
The screaming kids pre take off were giving me anxiety and I wasn't even on the flight 😜 and just my opinion (I am also a Mum ) xx Thanks for another great vlog Hannah💕
As a mom and grandma.. the anxiety is not from annoyance of the child.. but what action needs to be taken by the adult(s) to resolve the issue. Goodness.
“I tried really hard” - you smashed it! Watched every minute and really enjoyed it. The Teams jingle made me laugh 🤣 I hope Santa Monica was a good one ☀️
Hannah as someone from a lil town in the UK its so refreshing to see this level of perspective.. as someone a bit socially anxious aswell.. forever grateful ❤ love all your videos
I find your videos very uplifting and am truly amazed at the quality of the footage and audio. As good as, or if not better than mainstream TV! Having traveled that route a few times when I was around your age (back in the early 80's) it was nice to see how the in flight options have evolved. I also very much enjoy your outings around London. Keep up the good work👍
My wife flew back LHR-IAH last week, the dreaded Cattle Class middle seat. Ended up with the entire middle section to herself. Poor Man’s First For the Win!
I flew this same route in July.. I was in the middle section as well.. only me and one other passenger.. I could not believe my luck! Nice to be able to stretch out in cattle class.
My husband and I ready did enjoy this vlog, brilliant. We would be the two old people coughing all the way on the flight. You are such fun to listen to I look forward to your experiences about London every week. I don’t go to London now because I see all that is worth seeing from you tim and rebecca
I've got to honest Hannah...I didn't think I would like your content but was prepared to give it a go...really, really surprised. You are so honest and show 'warts and all'. Please keep this up as you are very good. Well done...David
We loved this plane trip as much as the last one!! If folks haven’t seen that one they should. When we say it didn’t feel like an hour video, it’s because your so enjoyable to watch and listen to. Pat yourself on the back and buy yourself a new bag 🙂
This was a great vlog Hannah, well done! I am a regular viewer of yours but also to all the well known aviation RUclipsrs. This by far trumps all of their videos with the level of depth and insight and also nice to have a female take on things. Regular business class flyers like myself like to look at these kinds of videos to ‘try before you buy’. You should be proud of the effort and result
I was lucky enough to get upgraded to business class on a return from Manama, Bahrain. It was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for better service and treatment. At 6ft tall, I really appreciated the leg room, the bed, the food. The staff also came to me in concern as I wasn't sleeping and made me a hot chocolate. My neighbours were lovely, a nice couple of ladies in the double cabin next to me, returning from Doha, Qatar and a nice old lady with a slipped disc, who the cabin crew bought fresh hot water bottles to a couple of times. It was the best experience of my flying life. It spoilt me forever travelling cattle again. As it happens, it was my last flight and I will never fly again, but the memories. Thank you, Rob.❤❤❤
Quick tip - if you don't know the gate number, the lounge reception usually know in advance of it showing on the screens - if they say B or C, head directly to the lounge at the B Gates which I've always found to be a more relaxing environment.
14:58 Hannah, having worked in supermarket retailing for over 30 years myself at age 54, I’m totally convinced that some people simply do not know how to behave properly and appropriately in public spaces, both here in the U.K. and back home in Ireland - it’s almost as if some people really do need some kind of training or go on a course to learn how to behave properly in public or better still, have people around to rigidly enforce the rules and frankly, I find it very irritating - frankly, I firmly believe that “intimidation” is a key part of enforcement of the rules, prevention, maintaining standards of conduct and behaviour with a zero tolerance mindset for thier nonsense, without excuse nor exception
Thanks Hannah! This took me back to the good old days watching you fly around for work. I really enjoyed it. I hope you had a lovely vacation with your family and I am so looking forward to vlogmas ❤️🙏
Happy Friday, Hannah! What a great vlog! Enjoyed traveling “with you” as much as I do your regular vlogs around London. Really appreciate the honest and insightful comments about the flight and the amenities. Have an amazing weekend and I look forward to seeing you next week!
Enjoyed every minute of this! I've never bought into the "we all get there at the same time" refrain when most of my long haul experience is from Australia to the rest of the world - 20+ hours is a long time without some extra space and a bed! On the other hand, the best flight is always the one you are on regardless of which part of the plane you are in.
Hannah, this was fantastic. You are so watchable. I agree with so many other comments, this didn’t feel like 1 hour. It just flew by! 😅 We appreciate you
I'm never going to fly in a private suite, so found it fascinating travelling with you. Thanks for the trip! Great Hotels you stay in, whether Heathrow or Santa Monica, only quality for Hannah! 😘💖
We love you Hannah - really lovely , lively commentary always and you possess such a lovely cheerful disposition - please don’t change! Thank you so much Hannah - I so look forward to your Friday broadcasts each week. 😊
Totally agree people need to take their head out of their arses and the staff near to cheer the f**** up. Keeping it real Hannah yes !!! ❤🎉 and it defo needs a clean
Wow, best video I’ve seen in ages, full of suspense and surprises, dark and bright, intrigue and emotion too. Great camera angles & great compositions. The best.
This reminds of how glamorous and fun I found travelling to be was at first - but eventually it just became so boring and felt like I was just shipping my body from A to B and travelling was just a hassle to be endured instead of enjoyed. - But still this was a fun video and I totally get why you would get a more expensive option specially for such a long flight.
We flew British Airways from Pittsburgh to Heathrow last year. We decided to forego Club Suites for business class. I have to say it was one of the nicest flights I've had! For the trip home we flew Economy but chose the last two seats which gave us more room. The food was good and the Attendants were very pleasant. I'm a nervous flyer, especially on long flights but it was actually a nice flight. 1:08:56
Great Job Hannah of reviewing the British Airways Business Class flight experience from London to LAX! For such a long flight, it seemed like you spent your time very productively! I like your very objective reviews of every aspect of your individual seat/cabin/suite, which you were honest about the space devoted to each area....good or bad! Also, it seemed like the "privacy walls" were a little shorter than I would have expected, but I'm sure that there are so many regulations for airplanes, that some things are going to be limited. Thx Hannah for sharing your personal flight to California with us, & I hope that you enjoyed your stay by the beach as well! Have a safe trip home Hannah, & thx again for ALL your efforts making this very informative vlog! All the Best, & see you next Friday!!!
Great Video Hannah i took my first flight with emirates first-class early this year and it was amazing, love watching you videos you have such a great chilled approach
I found this interesting. I have never flown "business suite" class. A lot of money, but I do love the idea of having a space all to myself instead of being crammed into a seat like sardines next to people. LOL.
An hour long video?! That's *exactly* what I need on this Friday evening 👏🏻 I'm only 3 minutes into the video but needed to pause and pop on to comment on just how happy your videos make me! I'm beyond excited for the Christmas content, too! 🤭🩷
Fantastic to see another travel vlog! BA is pretty rubbish, but after my last long haul, overnight flight in Economy, I think it might still be worth it! Here’s a small contribution to cover the cost of one of the (stale) bread rolls!
Hannah, you are a great presenter👍. I enjoyed your lively description of your surroundings. Bravo Hannah, you travel✈with the minimum essentials. I am looking forward to your Christmas vlogs!!!
Thank you for showing everything in great detail! I am flying club world for the second time soon, I didn't get to experience the lounge and I didn't know how all the bits and bobs worked when on board but now I do thanks to you! 🎉
Thank you Hannah for the tip about the other lounge, I found the first one was much too busy so I hustled to other one. It was much more relaxed and quieter and dinner time food was lovely.
Omg thank you Hannah I totally agree with you. Never flying business class again. 😮 Your comments spot on. Waste of money. My seat dirty and rude entitled people on board. Staff really helpful though. Love to you hunny you really make me laugh out loud with your comments 😂🎉😊 x Rosie O 🇬🇧
Mahvelous as always. Once flew the same BA flight from SF to Heathrow twice in 2 weeks ... first time in economy with a steward who was channelling his inner Basil Fawlty (he wouldn't let another passenger have a 2nd glass of water - "I just gave you one!") ... and the second time in business class with a steward who could not have been more obsequious ("Oh, very good, sir" was the refrain to my every request) - that was possibly the main difference between economy and business on BA, at least back then ... but no comparison with Emirates ... loved the business class check-in in Dubai which looked more like a posh bank than an airline terminal ... thanks for pulling this one out of storage and editing it ...
Hi Hanna, have a wonderful vacation in L.A. ! Thanks for such a thorough and detailed video. I felt like I was there with you! The 2nd lounge was a million times better! I agree, I don't know if that experience was necessarily worth all the extra money but once in a while we all deserve a special treat such as business class.
I came here to see which airline I want to fly from San Diego to Europe and I really appreciate the level of detail you went into here. From the lounges to the “suite” to the food and menus. Thank you so much!
I used to fly Air France business to the US when my younger brother was a chief purser and he could upgrade me from economy to business. Very different and more stylish, food and wine of course were at a higher standard. And cleaner!
So funny. It was just the other day I was thinking. I haven’t seen a Hannah travel vlog in a while. Lo and behold this one pops up in my feed! From someone who watches a lot of trip reports, you definitely nailed it, we do need more female trip reports. I really enjoy your style, I enjoy long vlogs, as I feel like I’m actually on my way on holiday too. Keep it up! 😊
Yeah, I heard the kids not long after you got to your pod, That's what I'd call a pod. I knew the sleep would be very little. But you had the right attitude about it. Thanks for taking me along.
This was really fun to watch…. Especially as someone who has 3 kids and most likely would never be able to travel this way 😂 living vicariously! Great honest fun vlog. Thankyou ❤
7:27 I’ve seen students getting sloshed on the 8am ferry from Dublin - by the time they got to Holyhead at Midday they were merry - I’ve also seen people drinking on the ferry at 3am out of Holyhead and/or having the full Irish breakfast by the time they arrived into Dublin at 6am
My take on the white crosses on the seat backs, possibly an inexpensive substitute for covered buttons you see on upholstered chairs and a design detail providing some contrast… remember, this is always someone in charge of their decor and thought this would make a design statement…
The joys of solo travel, taking a small carry on bag if you want to and not a partner insisting on taking a suitcase! I always just do carry on bag (no wheel bag) wherever I go. Travel light people, so much better and cheaper 🎒
An interesting experience and always good to hear an honest review. Nothing wrong with having a drink before twelve o'clock, after all somewhere in the world it is after twelve o'clock!
What an absolute quality vlog Hannah, really felt for you trying to sleep. Think your “waffle” is thoroughly charming. Thank you for the great entertainment
Quick get NordVPN with my link!! nordvpn.com/hannahricketts
Easter egg - the guy with the Stereohype t-shirt, lol
i want to talk to you?
creep
Done, cheers!
Winscribe is free and much better.
Just the best presenter with a unique style that draws the viewer in.
Yes Hannah makes it feel as if she is chatting with a friend
Very natural charm, she’d make the shipping forecast compulsive viewing.
Ricketts is attractive, quirky, a bit hyper, inquisitive, entertaining, very British though with many relatable points of view, What is there not to like about her?!
Well said!
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *suluxy* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
My favorite quote is "Babes, there's enough croissants, calm down." Put that on merch lol.
Golden! It seems that people are always in a hurry these days. They will run you over to get to a plate full of croissants! What is going on?😮

Ikr, people are becoming ruder and ruder no matter where you go
Fully agree.
Huge hug.
Thank you so much 😊

The website link for the higher quality replicas is *suluxy* . Do you have another?
So nice to see a fairly normal person doing reviews, rather than all these people who seemingly only fly first class/private and only drive Ferraris!
Maybe Hannah has a McLaren... :)
Hannah the “it’s like Saturday afternoon at primark” comment was hilarious hahaha
Epic vlog xx
British Airways should send Hannah a "Thank You" letter for calling attention to the crumbs that they obviously overlook each cleaning.
Agreed!
Hell.....they should give her a flight voucher!❤
What their vacuum cleaners need is a crevice nozzle.
Seems very pedestrian?
Yeah I flew World Traveller Plus on the A380 last year and it was the same between the seats - pretty awful
What should be luxury is mediocre these days but the prices we are paying. It’s upsetting these companies get away with it and don’t care. There is absolutely no excuse for poor cleanliness no matter what class you travel.
Or the prices they charge. Absurd and ridiculous.
I appreciate your point of view as a paying customer not a "paid" traveler. Thanks so much for your honesty Hannah.
I like the long vlogs. I like when you show the whole travel experience. Hope you had a safe and fun vacation.
50:54 - "I pick my wine based on the font" - Hannah, you're priceless.😄😘
I'm on holiday, I don't want a bloody salad.😂 Priceless ❤
Love your “waffly” vlog! You’re so genuine & interesting to see. Always a thumbs up, Hannah!

You spread so much joy just by being yourself Hannah!

How much was virgin upper class back then?

I’m literally watching this at an airport waiting for my first flight to London. ✨
I hope you have a GREAT time! I went for the first time in September and LOVED it. I wish I could be there for the Christmas season also.
There is no greater gift than when you make the decision or have the only option for economy and you get the whole row! Smug rules. lol
Flew from LAX ago LHR last week, had the first row of economy, unlimited leg room lol
My husband and I ready did enjoy this vlog, brilliant. We would be the two old people coughing all the way on the flight. You are such fun to listen to
I look forward to your experiences about London every week. I don’t go to London now because I see all that is worth seeing from you tim and rebecca
Happy vacation Hannah! I have to also say you look really lovely in this video!
Those little white crosses on the cabin seats look like the placeholders used when grouting bathroom tiles 😂
Exactly, that's what I thought
😂
I came here to say - Tile Spacers
“ Placeholders “ that’s a new one on me I’m a tiler and I call them tile spacers 😮😊
@rhello9961 Learned something new here, English is neither my first language nor am I a craftswoman 😊

Another thoroughly enjoyable video. Thank you!!
Absolutely brilliant video. Glued from start to finish. Really honest and totally agree with the lounges. Thank you
An hour long travel day vlog? Yes please!
I missed your flight blogs. This one made my day.
Great video. I like your humour and honesty in these reviews. Keep up the good work!
I always get the printed boarding pass too! It seems much faster & easier than my phone.
I’ve watched some of your earlier travel reviews/vlogs and really enjoy them. These videos add a whole different dimension to your brilliant channel.
Great Video Hannah i took my first flight with emirates first-class early this year and it was amazing, love watching you videos you have such a great chilled approach
The music selection after the take-off video was perfect!!!!!! Well done Hannah.
Great vlog Hannah, thank you for sharing. Those crosses on the seats look like tile spacers when you're putting new tiles on the wall 😊 x
Great video Hannah. Love your waffling ! I found it really interesting with your honest comments. Thanks for posting and keep on waffling !
Fantastic to see another travel vlog! BA is pretty rubbish, but after my last long haul, overnight flight in Economy, I think it might still be worth it! Here’s a small contribution to cover the cost of one of the (stale) bread rolls!
😄
Thanks so much! That’s very kind of you!
😅😅😅
@@HannahRickettsyour so lucky! 😊
Hannah, you are a great presenter👍. I enjoyed your lively description of your surroundings. Bravo Hannah, you travel✈with the minimum essentials. I am looking forward to your Christmas vlogs!!!
Yep, I think I'll stick with "rabble". Thanks for taking us along!
Absolutely loved this detailed vlog! Very informative and I personally agree with all your opinions.
Thank you for showing everything in great detail! I am flying club world for the second time soon, I didn't get to experience the lounge and I didn't know how all the bits and bobs worked when on board but now I do thanks to you! 🎉
Really enjoy your videos ❤ Love the honesty which is so rare in the influencer world!
I love your vlogs, so clear crisp and yet a subtle class...kudos...happy holidays
Love your honest review Hannah! Lovely vlog! ✈️🤍
Thankyou Hanna
. Awesome as always
Have fun Holiday
Reminds me of tile spacers, the white stitching in the seat.
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!!
Oh I need more of this Hannah!
The old travel vlogs are officially back!! Woohoo🙌
I really loved spending your flight with you and I hope ( if you are nervous like me) we helped you get through a long flight . Enjoy 🤗
I came here to see which airline I want to fly from San Diego to Europe and I really appreciate the level of detail you went into here. From the lounges to the “suite” to the food and menus. Thank you so much!
I enjoyed your vlog. I watched to the end. Thank you. 😊
Thank you for your honesty, you're right,we all have expectations.
Really enjoyed the “driver’s eye view” on the rail between terminals 👌🏼
This is actually an excellent review. I’ve never seen anyone show the how-to video on how to use the gizmos in your seat pod.
I love the honesty. I've heard the quality of BA has dropped a lot over the last few years
Just did this from SFO to London last week for work. Awesome seat and privacy, the flight attendant on our plane was lovely, food was ok
I used to fly Air France business to the US when my younger brother was a chief purser and he could upgrade me from economy to business. Very different and more stylish, food and wine of course were at a higher standard. And cleaner!
Love watching the Video's whilst I'm working away! very relaxing! currently on my 3rd play through in 2 days! x
Keep it up! 😊
“I’m on holiday I’m not having a bloody salad!!” Haha made me laugh out loud that one! 😂damn right I’m with you all the way on that one!! ❤
Yeah, I heard the kids not long after you got to your pod, That's what I'd call a pod. I knew the sleep would be very little. But you had the right attitude about it. Thanks for taking me along.
Love how honest you are 🙌🏻
This was really fun to watch….
Now that’s the kind of thinking I like 😂
What an absolute quality vlog Hannah, really felt for you trying to sleep. Think your “waffle” is thoroughly charming. Thank you for the great entertainment
