I'm a tired & retired woman, taking things at slower pace these days. You are my pure escapism which I look forward to, twice weekly. It makes life fun & great & lighthearted. I like your energy and the natural, unpretentious commentary. 😊
"A patisserie crawl instead of a pub crawl"... This has to be one of your finest vlogs - original, witty and fun. So much to see and take in - wonderful!😍😍
Hannah, you've taken me away to a happy place once again! I love your strolls around the various shops and restaurants....so entertaining and so much fun! Thank you!
The purpose of the cigarette holder is to avoid nicotine stains on the fingers, something which was a major issue in the smoking era. Loved the visuals of the hotels! Thank you for the video!
Thanks Hannah for all your lovely video. Would be nice to make video about best authentic British food in budget in london for tourists and visitors who are not familiar with city
We had afternoon tea at the Castle Hotel at Windsor, 40 pounds each, and it was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. We spent 8 nights at the Rembrandt in Knightsbridge and we had a great time and can't wait to go back and do things we didn't have time for..
I feel I am strolling along with Hannah and enjoying her comments about the architecture of buildings, pastries, coffee, cars and shops. Her manner is witty, charming and unpretentious 👍. I am looking forward to another great vlog on Friday!❤❤❤
OMG Hannah. You're in our territory. I can't believe we haven't run into you the last several years. We crazy Americans are big time Anglophiles 😂 and in London 3x a year. Were just there for Chelsea Flower for 12 days through June. We actually love So Audley and Mayfair pubs in general, The Audley, the Punchbowl, the Footman. Your videos bring us back! It's our fix in between our visits and your comments are a riot. Can't wait to be back, but that will have to wait for Christmas...have been to London some 60+ times and your videos are probably the best real time capture of all the locations you visit, and any influencer...keep doing the reviews, and the walks,we love them🇬🇧🇺🇸. We're across the pond waiting for each upload. Cheers!
You really should be on TV Hannah! You speak so eloquently, you’re a consummate professional, you are funny and your videos are so so interesting!! I rarely visit London but you make me want to more!!! Perhaps you could have your own Netflix show 😃‘Hannah in London!’ 🥰💁🏼♀️xx
Watching from Goldcoast Australia. Seeing the Dorchester Hotel bought back memories of skipping school as David Cassidy was staying there, we all were out side 100s of us chanting for him to come out. Then we blocked off the main road stopped the traffic until police vans came to move us , he eventually came out on a side balcony and waved 😂😂😂
Hannah, I absolutely LOVED the coffee with the flower arrangement to go ! Now if you had known, you could have gotten something savory along with a TINY sweetie for dessert, sat in the park amongst the flora and trees and had an absolutely lovely time! Cheers, 💕🇺🇸 Forgot to say - You looked so wonderful in your blue denim jacket, definitely a great look for you! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Loved the “patisserie crawl.” Can’t get enough of walking about London with you, seeing the interesting streets, lovely buildings, and shops. Thanks again for taking us along.
Oh that was fabulous, Hannah! I love your idea of buying the individual cakes and goodies and making your own Sunday afternoon tea at home. But I can't wait for Friday - I LOVE it when you and Natalie eat out! 🥰
The Peninsula exudes glamour. The Pink Panther drove luxury vehicles like that. What a marvellous Monopoly board pastry crawl around town. Scotts looked intriguing. And the little side street places. (Even if you could be a sophisticated hii brow intellectual for just one day - or a secret spy) [ he was real you know Hannah. He wasnt just a cartoon ...]
Hi Hannah, from a gloriously warm, 25 degrees in the sunshine Norfolk. I’ve been very down for personal reasons I won’t go into, and you bring much sunshine ☀️
Hannah! £5 meal deal from M&S, Waitrose, etc (sammy, crisps, drink) plus an extra treat/cake/pud and walk through Hampstead Heath to Kenwood and plop down on the lawn. If im being really fancy, I'll put it in my F&M hamper with some champs...or Ribena. 😂 £5-£8, sorted!
Loving your channel. I live in the USA. With all the hatred in our current politics that never seems to end, your channel has been an absolute blessing 🙌 🙏 ❤️ to binge watch. Thank you for something happy and positive to watch that is also fun and educational. I greatly appreciate it. Keep up the great job! God bless! ❤😊
Yes looks nice...but then you have to schlepp it around. 😉 For a Mozart experience you have to travel to fames Hotel Cafe Mozart in Vienna, Austria. So many special places to see 👀🌍💖
I love the street views. I love the racing engines, the sirens, all the sounds of life in London. I keep thinking I can’t love your videos more and then a new one comes along! Love!
This is another awesome day watching a new video by you on an awesome bike ride around the city of London and the visit to the tea and cake shop was really delicious have a very awesome week stay cool and thank you awesome Hannah.🇬🇧
For all sorts of patio plants, get a dish for them and water from the bottom. You can't really over-water this way, and you can see when they need a drink. ❤
Hannah, I gave my husband homeopathic remedies for his hayfever. He had exactly the same as you, eyes streaming, couldn’t go out in the garden half the time. I gave him the one for watery eyes, I believe it was Euphrasia. Look it up, maybe go to a homeopath. I know lots of people poo poo it but honestly he now goes out and cuts the grass with no problem. That was 30 years ago! Also, I love your videos, we moved to the USA 15 years ago and miss wandering around the shops and parks. I love hearing you chat too, like being with a friend and having a good old natter. 😁
Years ago I had a Kenalog injection for bad hay fever and it got rid of it completely for a few years. Drs don't want to give it as a steroid injection but it really worked for me - no symptoms at all. I suffered so much from it so I've sympathy for anyone that has hay fever - it's like five months of having a cold.
I loved the flowers and coffee. I didn’t think the price was bad as it’s not something you’d probably do super often to get both. Also how lovely would it be to have someone bring you a coffee and a little bouquet 💐
We biked through London( mom dad my brother and me) like we would in our native Holland We did’t bring the car just tents and camping gear, people thought we were crazy! The looks we got! If you stick behind a black taxi you will be fine! This was 1981….
Hi Hannah, fortnums & Mason, I had mini afternoon tea at the parlour restaurant , which is the next floor up, for roughly £23 ,posh toasted sandwich & scones ,a pot of loose tea ,which very good actually. I went to the shard afternoon tea in march this year, amazing views,But really expensive & disappointing ,eg Stale sandwiches.
Ok you had me at 'patisserie crawl" I'm in!!! We have no 'real' patisserie' in rural America. Nothing like the gems in Europe...so yes this Vlog was perfect!! Love all of them but...maybe you should ' attach the map for us...and when we next visit we have it in hand...I do like even the little gems (bakeries/tearooms) in the countryside for a proper outdoor picnic!!! Keep up the awesome vlogs!!❤
I went to The Dorchester for Tea about 11 years ago then its was £35 per head not including champers it was fabulous. Then for my birthday 13 years ago we stayed at the Dorchester had dinner at a restaurant called the grill @ the hotel then cocktails at the bar then breakfast in the morning it was unforgettable services was amazing food fabulous. Total birthday cost including the room just over £1000. If you can do it even just once in your life go for it . Side note the guy I was with back then was pretty loaded so there is that . Just to add after we broke a few years later he took me on a Carribean cruise so can’t complain.
I bought my parents a weekend stay at the Dorchester for their 50th wedding anniversary/ double 80th birthday. The staff took note and absolutely pampered my parents and looked after them super well.
Another beautiful area of London you've taken us to Hannah! I just love "walking" around with you in these vlogs. I get to see London. When I was in High School in Canada I was able to take two European trips with the school. I went two years in a row to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy. I loved it. The third year ot was London and other parts of England. I couldn't afford to go three years in a row - so dissapointing. So now I get to see London because of you Hannah. Thank you. See you Friday!
It is so weird to see pay phones. Here in Phoenix AZ we no longer have any pay phones at all. I especially love how much the British love their tea time. For us Americans it’s more coffee. Thanks again Hannah, see you on Friday ❤
Hannah what a terrific idea, to show several alternative ways to have afternoon tea in London, without spending a fortune in the process! I like the way you figured out a very nice walking route to see so many different places that were fairly close together! Thx Hannah for showing so many nice & affordable options for anyone to have afternoon tea in London! I look forward to your next vlog on Friday, that highlights lunch with you & Natalie....always great to see you two together in London! In the meantime, thx again Hannah for sharing another very informative vlog, & I hope you have a productive week! Stay safe & see you Friday!!!
I had the very good fortune to stay at the Dorchester for a week some years ago. In addition to the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, the food we enjoyed in the hotel regardless of time of day was fabulous. The afternoon tea was lovely and the surroundings, like at the Ritz were beautiful and just added to the experience. I should mention that the service was exceptional throughout my stay which does make the experience very special. I look forward to hearing your thoughts if you do try tea there with your sister. Love your tours of the city!
Thanks Hannah. You are truly a breath of fresh air. I was young and living in London many years ago: and I revive old haunts and welcome London living in these times because of you!
I love London architecture, and thanks,Hannah, for pointing out where Florence Nightingale lived and died.I am a Retired RN, and I just went to my oldest grandchild graduation from nursing School .
I absolutely love and recommend the Connaught afternoon tea. It’s always on my list to do when I’m in the city. The food is top notch and you can have as many teas as you want with no time limit. It is pricey but definitely worth it. It’s my favorite in the city even though I’ve only tried three. Would love to see a video of you trying it. Loved the video idea btw.
Great vlog, Hannah! This was delightful and appreciate the time and effort you put into this showing alternative options. The flowers and coffee for £15 would be a lovely treat - one of those things that just cheers you up on a bad day or for a friend! Thank you x❤
Brilliant vlog Hannah 😊 I would love to see Greenwich!!I think it would be interesting!!if the weather is great!!😊 Keep up the brilliant work!! you are fantastic Hannah 😊
Lovely vlog Hannah!!! 👏👏👏 I’ve heard very recently from a whiskey RUclipsr in London that the esteemed American distiller Buffalo Trace (bourbon mainly) has opened up a storefront in Covent Garden. Sort of an extension of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail across the pond! You’re most likely NOT a whiskey drinker but if you do have whiskey fiends in your coterie of confidants, it might be worth a visit. Perhaps not as a singular destination but as part of another Covent Garden visit. Buffalo Trace is so named because the territory of Kentucky (once the original American frontier pre-1776) where bourbon was born, it was once crisscrossed by scores of trails (“traces”) forged by native Buffalo and Bison through that once-dense forest. They are known best for Pappy van Winkle, a rare & expensive bourbon. Slaínte!!! 🥃🇺🇸🇬🇧
Yes the biscuits have gone up and have shrunk in size from years ago! Nibbling on a cookie that a family member has kindly brought back from London for me from F&M! 😊
Swap afternoon teas for set lunches Hannah. The Dorchester Grill has a modest menu at £35. Alternatively try breakfasts - the Connaught, 4 Seasons, Claridges etc all good. I enjoyed the tea at the Connaught. BTW I live near the Landmark..not sure about the tea..I have a story...
Hannah saying coffee can make her feel a bit ill reminded me of my friend. It's really weird, but recently she started getting ill after having coffee (and she loves coffee). She tried having coffee with oat milk, almond milk or any of the others and she was not ill! We think she might be sensitive to regular milk, but she doesn't have any problems with dairy products like cheese etc. So the only thing that was giving her troubles was regular milk in coffee. So if you feel ill after coffee, try having it with any other milk than cow milk.
Happy Tuesday, Hannah! Wonderful vlog today. A treat to visit other locations for more reasonably priced afternoon teas and the farm shop. Looking forward to seeing where you and Nat go for lunch. See you Friday!
Hey Hannah, Love your videos!! RE: Hay-fever. Take freshly grated ginger and lemon hot drink first thing in the morning. I’ve been doing this for over 3 months and I’ve never had to take tablets anymore. It might take a couple of weeks for your body to adjust but trust the process. Just half a cup daily. Credit to Barbara O’Neil.
I applaud your restraint regarding all those pastries! There is absolutely no way I could have done that. You are truly a shiny example of self-discipline. Thank you for taking us along. P.S. Would I pay 15 pounds for a coffee and flowers? Yes, I sure would!
That was a nice relaxing ramble and it was fun to see the slinky cars, that copper one was amazing...have to admit, I love the Mozart flower and coffee concept! It would be perfect for office workers on the go😉 Hannah, keep doing what you do, its great fun!
You make me want to return to London even more! It captured my soul early in life and remains my favorite city! I can visit it vicariously through you! Thank you❤️❤️❤️
21:18 - thank you for the detailed filming of those great Connaught tartes, because I wrote down the ingredients :D maybe mine won't be that beautiful, but I want to recreate them.
Hannah! Loved this! We had the GREAT pleasure of tea at the Landmark last Spring and you MUST give it a go. We’re in the States and this was a ten-year planned trip. We had done Harrods back in 2003 and it was lovely but in researching, the Landmark stood out in many ways. Yes, it is “spendy” but it’s also a tea we will never forget! Every moment from your entry into the vast, soaring beauty, to your last sip of tea is simply perfect. The staff are wonderful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Also - while you are there, you are encouraged to have seconds and also take more home! The States just don’t “do” tea the way the UK does. We miss London terribly. Thank you for letting us gad about with you twice a week. You are marvelous! ❤ Michael and Nancy. North Carolina- USA
Just recently found you. Love your videos. You’re so REAL! Love how you notice all the cars. I live in the US and enjoy seeing London through your eyes!
I highly recommend afternoon tea at brigit's bakery in covent garden, or at whittard tea shop in covent garden. The price is definitely on the lower budget I would say. And it was really yummy.
I love your afternoon tea shows. I'm glad you're trying to show us how to possibly have afternoon tea that's not so expensive. I want to host one at my home someday so this helps tremendously ❤.
This was fun ! Spoilt for choice when it comes to London & food. I love the coffee/flowers combo - sometimes that is what you need to do. I must say that flowers seem to be widely available which is lovely.
Thank you, Hannah, so very much for the patisserie crawl! From sinful delights to cars that are thrilling to see drive by. And these fabulous bougie hotel lobbies always make me smile the whole time while watching your videos. You brighten everyone's day.
You paid a king's ransom for a cup of coffee & flowers but at least you got a straw! Thank you so much for taking us along on your travels through London, Hannah Ricketts.⭐🏆🥇👑💂♀💂♂
London is such a beautiful city with the parks and all the flowers. Such great places for coffee, tea and sweets! Thank you for showing us this great city.
The Peninsula Hotel Group is a Hong Kong owned Hotel Group, which is owned by the Kadoorie Family. Exceptionally high end. As is the Mandarin Hotel, which originated in Hong Kong and is owned by Jardine Matheson, and the famous Keswick Family.
This was one of my absolute favourites and you never fail to uplift, with your bubbly conversation and quick wit. How beautiful London looks in the summer. I mean come on, cake and flowers 🍰 🌳💕🌸 🧁 🌺
I'm a tired & retired woman, taking things at slower pace these days. You are my pure escapism which I look forward to, twice weekly. It makes life fun & great & lighthearted. I like your energy and the natural, unpretentious commentary. 😊

Seriously! I am putting a patisserie crawl on my list no matter the city I’m in! ❤
@@carolinemurray7648 Too right! 👍❤️
Was expecting Hannah to drive off in that silver sports car seen at the beginning..
Glad you enjoyed it!
A patisserie crawl is definitely on my list when I visit any city or town!
Any afternoon tea with Hannah & Nat would be priceless ❤❤
Hannah, you've taken me away to a happy place once again! I love your strolls around the various shops and restaurants....so entertaining and so much fun! Thank you!
The written comments at the end have the same feeling as the extra scene after Marvel movie credits. I live for them!
Haha love that!

I luv your "budget" vlogs. Watching you walk around London in search of affordable afternoon tea was delightful.
Your videos just perk me up !
Its your energy, positive vibe that resonates with this aging old soul !
Hannah, you looked terrific in your denim jacket! That shade of blue absolutely works for you.
Simp
We had afternoon tea at St. Ermin’s hotel when we were in London a couple months ago. Reasonably priced and calm and elegant. The food was good!
Hannah, I absolutely LOVED the coffee with the flower arrangement to go !
Now if you had known, you could have gotten something savory along with a TINY sweetie for dessert, sat in the park amongst the flora and trees and had an absolutely lovely time! Cheers, 💕🇺🇸
Forgot to say - You looked so wonderful in your blue denim jacket, definitely a great look for you! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The Police siren and the face you made was priceless. Thanks for the video.

I do too .... LOVE IT when Hannah & Natalie eat out together!
London looks gorgeous right now!
Hi Hannah, from a gloriously warm, 25 degrees in the sunshine Norfolk. I’ve been very down for personal reasons I won’t go into, and you bring much sunshine ☀️

Nice to see some new places not heard of before. The Florence nightingale museum is worth a visit
Very interesting video! I could listen to you talk for hours with your favorite pet words!
I would gladly pay $15 for flowers and a coffee. Just for the novelty and delight it would bring. What fun. Of course, that would be a treat.

Thanks Hannah. You are truly a breath of fresh air. I was young and living in London many years ago: and I revive old haunts and welcome London living in these times because of you!
I’ve been to the Vesper Bar at Dorchester three times for cocktails. Expensive drinks but the service is fantastic. Very nice as an occasional treat.

So much fun to see all these lovely places! Thanks Hannah!

I enjoy all of your blogs Hannah after the stress of my husband strokes but he seems happy in the nursing home keep up the good work
Thank you so much for watching x
Hannah your clothes are always so fab. Clothes videos always welcome xx
A lovely rose for you in the bouquet. Thanks for the tour.😊
Hannah!
London is beautiful. Does most of the city look like these videos?
The Queen of RUclips has another home run with this vlog. ❤ it. 🌹🔥❤️
The flowers and coffee is an adorable idea. And you love flowers so it’s worth it.
When I was in London I enjoyed a very reasonably priced tea at Dolly’s in Selfridges. My husband even liked it because it was a casual environment.
I must say that flowers
seem to be widely available which is lovely.
Hello Hannah so glad you are enjoying the sun! Blessings and happy thoughts!😇🙏🤳🌈🌅🎭⛲🤗
Thank you, Hannah, so very much for the patisserie crawl! From sinful delights to cars that are thrilling to see drive by. And these fabulous bougie hotel lobbies always make me smile the whole time while watching your videos. You brighten everyone's day.
We love seeing food shops, tea, restaurants and really everything you show us in London. You are brilliant, Hannah! And, a belated happy birthday. 🎂🎉🎈

Really loved the music at the flower cake place, it give the feeling of breakfast at Tiffany's feel with Aubrey Hepburn
