- Can you really make money buying and selling motorcycles? Today on Jon's Moto Garage we pick up a used 2011 Harley Davidson FatBoy Lo (Fat Boy) from Craigslist. This beauty is blacked out front to back (dark custom), and comes loaded with windshield, saddle bags, vance & hines exhaust, and more! Enjoy!
Thanks for checking the vid and commenting. I did end up selling it. Can't remember if I discussed this in the video or not, but I paid $8200 (more than I wanted, but I had been itching to try one out for a while so decided to go for it). Only sold it for $8800, so I turned a profit, but not as much as I would've liked. Had a few tire kickers before a serious buyer came through, but he was stoked on it so it went to a good home.

I don't think I ever replied to your comment. My bad! Yeah, I ended up selling it. I didn't make as much as I was hoping. If I recall correctly, I paid about $8300 and sold it for $8800. I like to hit $800-$1000 minimum but I wasn't getting lots of solid offers so I sold it to the first dude with cash. Lol. Thanks for checking the channel!

I have a 2014 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec that I'm about to sell because I just bought a 2018 Harley Road King Special and your Craigslist tips will hopefully come in handy. Also, dragging a knee on a Goldwing is pretty impressive!
@@brianj501 I thought I had but your comment showed up under "not responded". Congrats on the 2018 Road King! I bet that thing is smoooooth! I picked up another harley a few weeks back - vid to come. It's a 2013 though and night and day difference compared to the new 107. Kind of regret selling the 2018 fat bob now. Lol. I'll post a vid at some point regarding my selling process.
