    Stock stall I see was it hard to get tuned and how it drive didnt cut off or push thur brakes

    What stage nsr camshaft is this I'm looking at getting tbe stage 4 nsr camshaft from them corvette servo 2200 stall street tune long tubes it should sound pretty good I'm looking for the sound youre truck is throwing

    Sounds good. did you swap springs and lifters too? are you on stock converter? whats you exhaust set up?

      ls6 beehive springs, stock lifters and longtubes catless y-pipe a 12in dynomax bullet to a 4 inch corsa tip

      OPIEDOPIE22 thanks. i thought you didn't have to change springs with this cam. are you on stock converter? How is it at a stop light?

      soyramflero you don’t have to change springs but just to be on safe side and I’m running the stock torque converter it bumps at stop signs every once in a while I just usually pop it in neutral but I also have 3.23 gears lol I think if you have 3.73 you should be okay but I plan on getting 4.10 and a bigger stall anyways

    Installing in mine next week how did the install go and is this 3 inch full exhaust or 2.5? Longtubes ?

      Catless y pipe to a dynomax bullet to the corsa tip and install went pretty smooth just had to replace a bunch of little things

      OPIEDOPIE22 2 I’ll be replacing the water pump and timing assembly when I do it. I wasn’t gonna mess with the springs but may end up doing them. Did you pull the heads ?

    I'm gunna be doing a 5.3 swap in my S10 an was gunna run this cam. I've been wondering if there is literally anything else that is required for this cam? Pushrods mainly??

      Jeremy Brewer your not required to uprgrade push rods or springs with this cam

      Nsr means no springs required . U wouldn’t need pushrods unless there was something wrong with the ones u have in it

      No-Springs-Required you can run all your other stock valve train except your torque converter you’ll need a 2800-3200 stall. I’ve seen multiple reviews saying if you have the right gears it’s not as bad with daily.

      Jay Jay I would just go to BTR website and give it a shot lol and I’ve been hearing how bad it’s been getting up there lol i don’t even have to pass a emission test my inspection only cost like $7 down here

    Did it do ok with stock converter and is it the 224/230@.500 cam ?

      Bryan Roupe yes it’s the btr nsr cam and it does okay with the stock converter it bucks every once in awhile

      Ok did it run like shit with no tune ? My last truck I had a summit cam it was like 209/217 low lift and it ran fine with no tune but this is significantly larger.

      My tuner was there for the first fire up but I'm pretty sure you could run it but the tune is we're the gold is in everything you do to upgrade your truck

      Its just my work truck but it's music to my ears on lunch break and traffic. I could care less about a tune as long as it runs OK and doesn't loose any power. I swapped all tools to my person truck for a week and worked a few hours after work for a week to swap the cam in my work truck and it sounds like stock almost with quiet mufflers. Pretty pissed when a lope is all I wanted lol. Maybe I'm just cheap but I don't want to spend $550 on a tune. I will buy hpt and do it myself for that. But if I can save the money with stock tune Im all about it. Shit i made almost 500 whp on my fox with a stock tune and a little boost. Just a BTM and adjustable gain FMU. Been on 9 Qpsi for almost 3 years and over 10k miles.

      Anthony James huge difference would recommend swapping out the stall if you have 3.23 gears
