Wow! Another healthy meal. Has Beautiful Wife been encouraging you to make healthier choices? I have to remember that "Bag 'o Salad, cooked chicken, in a wrap" trick for my campering meals.
Right? The price totally defeats the purpose of why people want to downsize...to save money! 20k for a wooden triangle? 😁😂😀 The people who buy these are crazy!
That's what I was just saying, I have a 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom brick House on 2 acres that I built from scratch for 100,000. And these tiny houses are the size of an RV
These are priced higher per square foot than a regular home now. Some of them no bathroom even, Ridiculous! Surprised Arched Cabins were not on the list. I bought one last December, it is just now being completed. bought the 30x30 which with the loft is 1350 square feet! Cost me 20k. They only provide shell though, so I spent another 70k on the inside. Still 90k for a home on 40 acres with no mortgage is not so bad. The company was great, check them out if you want affordability but a not so tiny home, they come in all sizes too.
I actually worked in the Sub-division in next door to the subdivision in question where you have pictured with the sculpted bushes. Edward Scissorhands which was filmed in Brandon Florida in 1989. Brandon is an immediate outlet near Tampa in Hillsborough County Florida. Tim Burton (Writer and Director) paid the residents $100k each for the use of their homes and they painted them pastel colors for the filming and then returned them to the original color when filming was done. I moved to California in 1990 and saw the movie and recognized the sub-division and remembered they filmed the previous summer. We went by there every day for the 2 or 3 weeks they were filming. In 1989 I already knew that I was moving to California in 1990 and found it Synchronistic that of all the places in the world to film Edward Scissorhands was immediately next to the sub-division that I was building. My plan was to become a screenwriter in Hollywood and I could write a movie about how I ALMOST had MY VERSION of a Major motion picture with Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg produced - but that's for another time, lol.
wasnt it in lutz florida?the castle was in dade city just up from my house now.i was just there looking at the mansion yesterday.but the neighborhood were the sculptures were at was tinsmith circle.carpenters run lutz florida.but i do know they used multiple neighborhoods.but the mansion is still there up on the hill.ill have to go take some pics
These things should be affordable for All. It's like companies want to make EVERYTHING ... for people with $$$$$..... The backbone of this country is the working class and these are the people that bust ass their whole lives to make other people wealthy ... ..Meanwhile these lifetime delicates hard working people have nothing to show for it....... Sadly most will end up with serious or life threatening medical issues and no money for retirement ..this world is really screwed up !......
Some tiny houses are really nice, but I don't understand how some of them are $65,000 with a hundred and fifty square feet, the size of a small RV, when I paid 100000 to have my house built from the ground up, and mine is 1400 square feet, wood floors and ceramic tile, 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom brick House On 2 acres. The price of these tiny houses just don't add up
The push for fully furnished posh trailer/manufactured homes (Tiny Homes) is cool. Essentially glamping lifestyles for modern day Yuppies. So it is true what they say. What is old is new again. Thanks guys and gals :) For your next series of lists I challenge you to create videos for trailer homes/manufactured homes that are unique, stylish, quirky, retro-futuristic, inspired by themes from nature (ground, air, water, etc), outer space, bears sci-fi, fantasy, whimsical foolishness, eccentric traits, cat walks, sky bridges, pneumatic transit tubes or tunnels, and/or are taken right out of fiction and made into reality. Some can be outlandishly priced but most have to be around $20,000 or less U.S. dollars Or equivalent global value. Buzz words like "sustainable", "eco-friendly", "carbon footprint", and so forth can be omitted.
See that's the thing, with the popularity of these "tiny homes" now you won't find the things you're asking for anymore. Now that these manufacturers see how popular they are the price point is through the roof and they have truly defeated the purpose. When a 80sqft A frame trailer that you can build yourself with $1,500 dollars worth of material costs $20,000 and a 400sqft house cost $20,000 less than my 1800sqft house and sometimes $50,000 more I think they've thrown practicality and the original purpose (down sizing and spending less money) out the window now and they've just become another novelty. They always find some way of turning something that could be good into a profit monster and making it unattainable for those it would benefit.
Yeah.... Right!!! I can imagine walking around downtown Portland, Oregon seeing all these Ulmer Nests camped out all around the highways instead of tents. Not a pretty site!!!
"Edward Scissor Hands" starring Johnny Depp, Diane Weist which was filmed in Lutz, FL. Vincent Price played the part of a scientist who had been making a boy, hands out of scissors & had made hands but he died before that happened. Diane Weist' s character was an Avon rep, found him alone, took him home. It first started with Edward cutting women's hair, eventually cutting the shrubbery as he'd done in the big house where he'd been created. Wynnona Rider & Alan Arkin were in it as well. Disney has such shrubbery aka lawn ornamentals.
Apparently in the UK you don't need planning permission to build on stilts....😆...the mind boggles, wonder if you batten plastic sheeting that you builders use to protect materials on your roof if the building is rates free having no permanent roof ? 😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃
I really enjoyed this video, even though I do not want or need one of these homes. I just love watching them!! What I do not understand is people wanted prices and now you show them all they do is complain!! You do not set the prices you just show them!! Come on people just enjoy looking you do not have to buy them!!!!
THE WHEEL HOUSE IS A WINNER. I COULD LIVE IN IT EASIELY REAL CLASS
9:29 A scene from Edward Scissorhands 😍 I loved the aesthetic of the town.
Number ten was my absolute favorite. Reasonable cost and the interior was beautiful! I could definitely live in this tiny home! Bravo, well done!

#7. The Lookout and Wedge by Wheelhaus.
Only one was priced under $15k, which all of them should be priced at or below. I mean $96k for a bedroom give me a break.
so sad

WHATS NOT TO LIKE ABOUT NUMBER 10?
Not a lot of imagination given over to designing homes for the DISABLED is there?
