I am partly paralyzed and use a power chair and hospital bed. I used to work in Parks across Canada. I need a van/trailer that can meet our needs. I have to find or afford one. These 10 look like fun.
the manufacturers think we all have a money tree at home? I went beach camping 2 weeks ago, saw so many luxury RVs. In my 3 nights camping, I only saw my big RV neighbor only once in the morning. At night I can see his big screen tv from outside when it lit up. Another old couple with their fancy trailer seems to be sitting in the same chair outdoor, same positions for the entire morning. I'm the only pop up tent for 2 in the entire camp site :) I just enjoy the beach & sunset
The number one camper design is pretty cool. However, we are not sure how reliable it is. Think about it, There are tons of camper factory in US, why no one’s putting these fancy idea to their projects? Perhaps reliability is more important then fancy idea.

For me, the futur of this kind of camper will be with clean energy and become totaly free. I'll wait new generation fort make a travel with my electric car in a place where we don't have to smelt gaz.
Wonderful campers. To be honest I at times wish that US manufacturers would take hints from the designs on these euro/eastern campers. Amazing style it shows that how the inside feels is just as important as how it works.
They're still stuck in 1990. That's the problem. Look at the interiors of some of them such as Winnebago or another big brand. They look tired and old. That's why I would buy a European brand that is legal to import.

European vehicles are way more fuel efficient and agile, but until some years ago the best truck design made for European market came from an American brand with the great Ford Transit (up to the MK8, the Custom being way less interesting for a conversion). When it comes to interior designs, US vans are more into putting a house on wheels, and Europeans about furnishing a camper like a boat. I tend to feel the last philosophy being better suited for a conversion, but converted vans are not houses nor boats. Best results are not produced by any major brand but by people going DIY, and these people got great ideas no matter if they come from Europe or USA. Best companies are small ones designing their interiors based on greatest ideas coming from DIY.

However, the value durability rather than creativity. I saw some independence factories got versatile and durable overland camper van. They manifest their creativity as well as good repetition. That is why these factories in the United States able keep business going.
