project build. looks good brother. just installed them on my 04 new edge. rides a plus. hopefully they can hold to the 410hp. looking forward to seeing your build when its done.
I have a bc racing set just like these but my passenger is 1/2 lower even though they are the same measure. Did you have any issues like this? Mine are maxed out as well
Damn I actually just got a set of these for my 02 gt convertible and was looking at it wondering how the hell these back ones go together and it’s obviously not a coil over in the rear the fronts are though
I guess I’m not getting it. Doesn’t that sleeve go over the shock body and you use the spanner wrenches to adjust height? The way you have the springs mounted in there would the mounts rotate and eject the spring? Has anybody else installed this way, do the instructions show this separation in spring and shock? If so this is not even a coil over.
I'm looking to getting these to lower my new edge solely because of their price.. but there's so many mixed comments about this brand/kit. How are they? Are they worth it? Anyone elses opinions/experiences are welcomed. Thanks.
@@streetslayers410 One more question! Did you notice any noise after the install? I see a lot of things about them being noisy when riding around/turning..
Just an FYI The quadshocks mount on the rear end have a welded nut which is outer side of mount you have to unbolt from inside, countless people make this same mistake, my question is why you didn’t just buy the bmr rear coilover conversion kit and get something name brand like qa1 coilovers or Like what I went with Viking coilovers front and rear if moneys an issue just go with SVEs coilover kit , ebay suspension is a killer and not in the good way they are dangerous and will hurt you when they fail which is only a matter of time plus you get no ride quality it’s not upgrading your car by getting adjustable coilovers if they aren’t worth anything anyways best of luck to you and your build
If you had followed this build from the beginning, you would know that this car had sat in Ohio for 10 years. It never moved. Everything was corroded and seized up. The rotors had to be cut off, the control arms had to be cut off. It was not a mistake, it was necessary. As far as the coilovers go, they were free. Maxpeedingrods sponsored the build. This is also not my personal vehicle. The new owner can do as they please.
@@streetslayers410 I haven’t just pointing out some things maybe someone in the comments might not know and why not just cut the bolts if seized ? I’m from FL right next to the ocean i deal with corrosion and rust constantly I always just use a sawzall or just a cut off wheel and you can fit the blade in between and reach the bolt 9-10 times

I'm going to be honest, it is a decent kit. Time will only tell about the rest. While installing the kit, it didn't feel like a cheap kit.
@@streetslayers410 thank you for the reply! But ahh okay okay, understood.. this is definitely something I’m leaning more towards at the moment.

Why am I getting a notification 45 min late
Because youtube hates me 😂

@@DriveWayMafia I ground the brackets down to the axle tube and painted everything. It made plenty of room for the 335 tires
@@streetslayers410 335! That’s meaty for this setup lol hope those torque boxes hold up for ya
