Great to see you have plenty of moisture looking forward the rest of the season 👍😂🇦🇺
The interest by AFL clubs in family security and safety excites me Brad . See what can be changed when community pulls together !
Come on, Brad, ANZAC day isn't just Australia, mate!
Australia New Zealand Army Core.
When we fought together for the peace of both of our countries' freedoms.
Moisture is looking really good to get the seeds germinating.
Looks like a perfect seed bed you’ve managed to achieve Let’s hope for good growing season
Just check the audio problems. Glad you noticed the audio. Thanks for the video.
I had a microphone dying but didn’t realise until I had takes a couple days footage😒
Glad to see wheat going in the ground. You seem to have plenty of good moisture to get it started. Great job! I’m excited to see your cotton being harvested. My great uncle used to be a partner in the largest cotton gin in Texas back in the 1940s through the 1960s. But I personally never been around it. I farmed soybeans, wheat, hay grazer and prairie hay in Oklahoma. Your operation is pretty similar to how we farm in the United States.
Finished planting here about a week ago and catching up on the backlog of video's. I did the math, and it looks like we seed wheat quite a bit heavier, around 84kg/ha, some of the neighbours are heavier yet.
Thanks for another great informative video guys
❤looking good guys, Arkansas, USA!
I wonder how far the seeder has traveled whilst planting 🏴👍🏻
Hey up nice to see youse planting again shame you can't get pink wheat would look cool
Thanks from Minnesota!
Love to see a cleaning thing that Dosen’t involve scrubbing
Definitely checking it out
in the last video Bradley ask Chickpeas or Barley......simple answer.....Barley.....who has ever heard of a refreshing beverage made from Chickpeas 🍺
The ‘Old Commer’ has been resurrected more times than JC!
Great to see you guys planning again. I'm curious about how much damage the rocks do to your planters. Everything is looking great BTW. Glad to see everyone is healthy and working.
If you go slow it’s usually not too bad but nothing likes working in rocks😳
Who would have guessed a farmer would need written instructions on how to get mud off a Ute?
Good job guys
Cool
Rain what is that dry seeding in SA haven't had decent rain since December January
Go the old Acco and Commer
@@robertI153 Me to mate
actually it's a bit of a testimony how they look after their gear . that commer engine sounded ok to me .
I reckon I know where the rock picker needs to start after you harvest…..Good luck with it all guys
I can't keep track of all your projects :D Is the tracked kitty still down? Or has the Steiger officially stolen it's job?
Cat been running before harvest. Even been involved in the light theft.
Steiger set up and grunty as.. lol
We can’t either😂 it’s there ready but we decided to sow with the Steiger this year👍
Is the fertilizer and seeding rate the same for the whole paddock. Was told the headers create a map of high yielding areas in the paddock when harvesting. So I'm assuming that data can be fed into the seeder to reduce fertilizer load in the areas of high yield or isn't it worth it.
Yes it takes a bit of setup but that is a common thing to do, we aren’t there just yet 👍
There are alot more variables to take into consideration with variable rate but yes that is normally a good starting point to build from, the main goal with doing that is to save on input costs and getting the same yield
shame ya can't find a market for your rocks , they appear to grow prolifically aye!
we need to support their videos so they can get a crusher and make road base 😁😆
Not using the challenger for planting?
Decided to go with the Steiger again this year, doesn’t seem to be compacting too much👍
Plant Pink and Blue wheat to get baby wheat 😂😂😂😂
Some nice moisture in the soil for youse and hopefully it will be a good season for you all. Thanks for sharing 👍. Doug
Hi Jackson brothers, busy times at planting and thanks for taking me along, having spend many year's on a farm. Thanks Stephen
Hello friends, can I work with you on the farm?
Broad acre farming at its best. My folks are cereal growers in the "Mallee" northwest Victoria. Thank you for a cheery presentation. 😊😊🌟🌟 Really, I'm Richard, not Robert!😊
My Colorado ute with a tub and canopy always scrubs up nice with a wash. Think Holden/Isuzu had a good choice of paint work for us Aussies.
Whoa!!! Look at that moisture, beautiful. Wouldn’t mind that right now, we’re making a lot of dust. Sowing dry.
Go hard boys, it is a busy time of the year, and the best of luck for the season.👍
We are banging it in dry here down in southern NSW. Really need a rain
This is the first comment.
Hi Jackson family, good to see progress happening. Those rocks play havoc to machinery and a never ending battle to overcome. In the late 70's early 80's I was involved in sugar cane farming in Cairns working for a company that built stone pickers. It was a cylindrical auger that delivered rock from the tumbler to a bin or conveyer with zero soil loss. with a 1 metre cutting blade connected to the 3 point linkage allowed varying depth. A hydraulic pump mounted to the PTO powered the picker operation. It was a very robust and efficient unit and sold like hotcakes through FNQ from Mossman to Bundaberg. I left the company in 82 and often wondered what happened to the machine. Over the years I have looked at what is available in that industry and see many different types on the market with some that are overly complicated. I would be interested to see how you address the problem.
they have a really nice Kivi-Pekka rock picker.....but they have a lot of ground too
You don,t see many models coming out with the Armstrong steering system these days, men were men and boys were boys.
And females were maidens
Good work team ,with that planter how many acres with a good run can you plant in a day
100ha a day is pretty easy to achieve, if we go 24hrs then closer to 170-180ha 👍
Thanks Matt and everyone...farming and trucking, the backbone of our country!!!
I love the drone views, had to stop what I was doing and lean back end just enjoy the view of the wonderful landscape you live and work in 😍
Yay, pressure washing at last, well done Matt
Really interesting to see your operation and all of the work that it entails. And those rocks, wow, never ending. Funny to think that much of the finer soil was once those rocks.
Long Live Texas. Great vid
LEST WE FORGET. 😢😢.
Good morning from Texas, you guys just keep creating more work for yourselves, LOL
Good morning! Yes we do😂
