Once, on a dive many years ago near Santa Barbara, I came across the remains of what must have been a huge Sea Bass.... The head alone was three feet wide, and about 4 or 5 feet long. I've never forgotten that.

I dove with one off the coast of Santa Barbara Island. The sea bass was pretty curious just like this one.
