Your background in carpet cleaning has made you a "Hero" in my book. Actually this was a miracle! Job well done. I would have just moved on to the next customer. Impressive 👍 work 👏
Nick, great info about carpets and how to use chemicals to your advantage. I appreciate the work you put into videos but especially ones like this man! Keep up the great work man!👊👊👊
This IS real detailing. People here on youtube seem to forget that US detailers in the real world are not detailing for detailers. We are detailing for everyday people. 99.5 percent of customers would be astonished with these results.
I wonder how much of a different result you will get if you just presoak carpets w/ 4:1 super clean for 10 minutes, steam all heavy stains, drill brush, extract and mop up with towel.
Looks great Nick. I don't do a lot of interiors. I got one last week, nasty. 6 hours with vac, air, drill brush, steam, and a tornador. Use an APC (like I said I don't do a lot of interiors ) diluted 6:1 and the results were good and the interior was trashed before but I found that the carpets and the seats, even tho they looked better, the fabric was stiff. Any videos or advice on what I did and how to stop that. Most of the vehicles I do are lite soiled interiors but I enjoyed the challenge and the customer was shocked at the results and I did charge $350 for that interior and a basic exterior wash. Thanks
With a high ph degreaser...you want to make sure if you can to neutralize the ph at the end. Usually that means an acidic rinse product in your extractor...it will have a low ph to neutralize whatever you don't suck up. Some residue is always left behind... high ph can lead to browning, overly stiff, and it will attract soil faster because it is usually quite sticky on the actual fibers
As always great video, and very helpful, everything you say is the truth. Still working on my practice car, and it was my personal striver for years, and not sure when the mats came out, but they were on the carpets for a few years. I started out using a bissel pro heat carpet cleaner and it went back almost immediately, short hose, high chance of leaking, found the video from Excellent Supply , and the Gecko, so ordered that and it was a big help, even after 3-5 cleaning I am just not getting the tan carpets to look okay. Between remembering I had bought hydrox and finall got the blue round air movers, to help dry the carpets. Thank you so much for the helpful info as always.
Excellent work Nick. What do you know? A shit load more than i do about carpet. Love learning from you so keep it coming. As a teacher, i love learning also.
@@HawkProDetailing I have recently ordered P&S Finisher, would I be okay to spray and let this naturally dry? Testing to see the best overall finishes and starting with that since I bought it.
Flex ice in hot water. That mix goes in your extractor basin and you shoot it into carpet as you suck up with the extractor handle. Flex ice is low ph so whatever residue is left after carpet dries is hopefully neutral. Dry as rapidly as possible with air mover
Very nice 👍 job. I really like how you give the information during the detail. I live in NC and we don't see alot of snow and so not alot of ice melt, but would you still recommend using the urine neutralizer? Or just skip that step??
Hey Al! Sorry I missed this. No need to use urine neutralizer if you're not detailing with ice melt. The backbone of my carpet cleaning is encap spot (but even more critical, bio break as pre spray and flex ice as neutralizing rinse). If you have a cruddy extractor, just make sure to put the water in as hot as possible in case your machine doesn't do a great job of heating the water on its own. then go to town and get it dry as quickly as you can!
Hey so i just went to the store and got flex powder and prochem deep carpet clean rinse or whatever thats the detergent rinse. I dont have a nice extractor like you just a bissell pro heat, when i put the flex down ofcoarse it suds up, but when i use the rinse i get so much suds comming into my extractor its nuts and also is takeing Zforever to get out of the carpet. B4 i just used the bissell pro stuff but i wanted to step my game up but i just cant tell if im getting all the soap out because the rinse suds a little. Am i ok to leave it? Never used the stuff b4
Can you shoot me an email? I'm just skimming this now but don't have time to respond lol. Want to make sure I understand your process... nick@hawkprodetailing.com
Lol there were still some coffee stains I struggled with under the seat there...and then that nasty red mess near the left foot rest thingy...but luckily the carpet covered it. I misted encap hydrox on the floor mat to so it really brightened it as it dried...
yeah man I've been there. But these days I'm sort of in winter mode--happy to have the work and at least bring in some cash. this guy had me do two interiors. I charged him $150 a piece, since he gave me the work, and he gave me a $20 tip. Was it worth it for an all-day detail marathon? Sure. But there is no doubt...doing jobs like this will not make me rich:)
That was very informative, turned out amazing, I'm sure the owner was ecstatic 😮
Thank you sir! Yeah he was very happy🙂

agreed!
Dude. AMAZING video. So thorough and so so so so SO real. Amazing. Subbed
Thank you so much!!
If I understand correctly, you can let encap dry and vacuum it out after agitation and soaking up with like a microfiber?
I wonder how much of a different result you will get if you just presoak carpets w/ 4:1 super clean for 10 minutes, steam all heavy stains, drill brush, extract and mop up with towel.
Wow!!! Mind blown!!! The results are amazing
Thank you😁
You could get something called red 1 it gets rid of red spots when you use steam great job

Just 1 minute in. I'm so excited to see this!!
Yessir!

This was very helpful, I see this all the time with cars I detail and it is so difficult to get out
Ice melt? Yessir it is a pain. Urine neutralizer, steam and extraction has proven a formidable attack 🤓
Thanks again ... great video’ once again!
Excellent work Nick. What do you know? A shit load more than i do about carpet. Love learning from you so keep it coming. As a teacher, i love learning also.
Yeah man. I'm starting to realize I wont ever get rich detailing...but I sure do love teaching. And funny enough...when you teach...you learn too:)
I was impressed!! I give it 👍👍
How do you neutralize the bio break? With the hot water extraction and the scoop of flex ice?
yep, that's the idea! Check out my latest video... the chemist behind both products explains it all:)
When you neutralize carpet cleaner you have used is it preferred to spray and let it dry, or can you possibly work it in to the carpet itself.
You can spray an encap product work it in and when it dries the dirt is encapsulated and dries so it’s easy to vacuum up
@@HawkProDetailing I have recently ordered P&S Finisher, would I be okay to spray and let this naturally dry? Testing to see the best overall finishes and starting with that since I bought it.
BRAVO!!! Not shooting for perfection. This is an amazing improvement. Ice melt = 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thank you my friend! This carpet was a beast...I wanted perfection but whatayagonnado
What do you think about a spotting kit with some tannin spotter?
Do you use an OZONE machine ?
Great video ! Why is that spray bottle imploding?
altitude change I'm pretty sure. this job was way up the mountains in park city
I'm below sea level and my bottles do same thing!
Real talk Nick, thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you brotha 🙏
Amazing results. How long did this interior take?
very informative video with great content and very awesome result in the end
Thank you! It can be awesome and NOT perfect:)
Your link for urine neutralizer isn't a link you can't click on. Could you give the name brand.
It's from a brand called Bridgepointe, you can find it at your local Aramsco store
@@HawkProDetailing ok thanks.

@@HawkProDetailing I actually built the heating part of my extractor set-up. 200f And I use my 5hp vac in conjunction with it.
