In my case the tube from dishwasher to garbage disposal was clogged near garbage disposal end
with what looked like bacon grease

dishwasher is brand new never been used only the test run the installer did. There is like one inch of water left in there. They told me is normal but this one is the second dishwasher installed. My question is. how much water is normal to be left out after a wash
Most all dishwashers will have a little water left in them underneath the filter screen.
Typically about 1 to 3 inches of water in the sump area is normal. Any water above the filter screen is not normal.
Same situation ughh secod time using the frigidaire dishwasher, there r some water left
