Thank you for sharing your upcoming plans for the girls turnout. They were all just too cute standing in a circle together around the hay bale. It looked like they were all gossiping and having a proper tea party! ❣️❣️❣️
I agree. I follow some other horse channels in America who mainly keep their horses outside. One in Montana has her 13 horses outside. Four of them have access to a stall and an outside area. The others have run in sheds/field shelters. Even the over thirty year old Shetland cross Nigel. But they do have dry lots to be in. Britain seems to get far more rain, so more mud.
*All the girls being nice to each other as they ate from the bale together. love seeing the snowy scenery. In winter season it doesn't in my area in nz 🙂nz*
I take your point about “ gastric issues with fresians not moving around enough” I have heard of that before. Great video thanks Tracy. Although your mountains are our foot hills in NZ. HEEHEE
What snow? Can’t believe how quickly the snow disappears! Too bad you have the Boyz’ shelter split in two, so they could all get in on the feeding of the round bale all at once. Won’t really need the hay bars now, with the new feeding method. Hopefully the ice won’t be too bad … scary for all the horses. Will be nice once a new indoor riding arena has been built and the horses can run around inside when it’s bad outside. So good to be back in the house, no doubt. Would be nice if you didn’t ever have to rent the house out and could remain in there permanently. Happy Trails! 🙏🙌✝️✡️❤️
We’ve found using a round bale haynet on a bale inside a cattle type ring feeder results in very little wastage and mess at all. It would probably work well in the boys’ area.
Oh that's absolutely great to be getting a turnout for the girl's, i don't know what you mean Tracey, when you say Nero could be a bit destructive , think you've got that wrong.😊😊😊. What a beautiful scenery together with all your precious beauties ❤❤, thanks for the video.xxxx
Beautiful views, love listening to the girls eating their hey. 🥰 Isn't it an option to have two more shelters like the boys have and put them in the girls field with the side next to each other and have the space in front of it less deep into the field as the boys have but as broad as the two shelters? Than you don't need planning permission i think. 🤞🍀
Beautiful horses 💙 No doubt the girls area is tricky even if you spend money on it. Is it possible to dig an underground drain, drainage ( 🇫🇮 "salaoja", "salaojitus") there?
The Lake District is a low flying radar avoidance training area for air force aircraft from various countries, there are also areas in Scotland & Wales. No flying at the weekends & speed is limited to 450 mph.
It was lovely seeing the girls all gathered round the bale of food and being nice to each other.
Looking forward to seeing the girls on solid ground. Be safe on the ice. 🐎😊
Unusual cloud formation.

Feeling bad for the girlies in this cold and muddy weather. I hope we can raise enough money for their turnout by spring! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎❤️❤️❤️
Nero is fearless.
Horses need to be outside primarily. They stay healthier and less stressed.

Is there a Royal Air Force base near you?
