Autumn is here with the first cold nights and icy rain showers, AT GBF, boys and girls are looking for the best spot to lie down and enjoy the heat of the sun rays 😊🌞 . Our living organisms must adjust to the radical change in the winter season ( longer nights, shorter days, less sunshine ... A kind of '' hibernation'' in fact 🐹 ) . This weekend I shall enjoy some peaceful hours, reading a Book close to a blazing fireplace after several days of rain and heavy winds due to KIRK depression 🌪️ ☔.. over the West- North of FRANCE . Have a nice and warm weekend all 💖 ❤️

Welcome to another chapter of "Nap Time at Greenbank." A good roll before a nap is optimal but not necessary. It must be remembered not to nod off and use noses as a resting place for heads. A stay in the Friendship Barn is also optimal when you are soggy and chilled from nasty weather. Love that infrared !! Of course, someone (we won't mention names) is a doofus and doesn't want to wear his rug - even though he needs it. In fact, he pulls a Houdini and gets out of the rug regularly. This "someone" is also known as "Rainbow Boy" and I do hope he made use of the beautiful new shelter during the soggy and chilly weather. A lovely dinner toppd off this very enjoyable chapter of "Greenbank" happenings. Bailey, you are a star !!

The horses have finally overpowered their caretakers and gained complete control of the farm. The humans, though, are still allowed in common areas for good behavior.

Wow, Auntie Ren is almost 20. She’s the Speed Queen, right? She looks fabulous ❤. Interesting that you can feel every movement on a Friesian. Also heard that a Friesian is a solid and more comfortable ride. Yes, hope the equestrian world changes. The “throwaway” mentality needs to GO! That’s right, Tracey, they ask for nothing, yet give so, so much. Sweet, sweet darlings. Aww, pretty Ren. That was quick, home all of a sudden. No worries about dodgy filming, Renske comes first. ❤❤❤ the horses!

Geez, 🤨 Maaike, JB’s a cutie pie. 😂 that greeting party for Oebe’s return was hysterical. Everyone crowding around the horse trailer, basically gawking in the midst, causing a traffic jam 😂. Anja doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to food. She has wobblers? She looks great.

They are magical in every way - current and past residents who’ve left a lasting impression. Your family, friends, staff, and volunteers contribute wonderfully, in so many ways, to the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary of Greenbank. Benedictio Dei be ever on you, the sanctuary, the farm and all involved in your continued efforts for and your journey with the horses for many years to come. ❤
