One point I forgot to make is that the PS5 controller on PC is considerably faster than the xbox controller on PC when overclocked. A PS5 Controller on PC can be overclocked to 1ms response time where as a standard xbox controller on PC is locked at about 8ms and can not be overclocked. So speed is better with PS5 controllers on PC but again quite a hassle that is only beneficial to hardcore/competitive PC gamers.
Ya for fighting or fps games I'd pick the ps5 cuz u need the lowest latency for games like that.. if ur casual gaming the xbox one is good. xbox has like double the battery life, so if ur on PC i'd recommend that. on the ps5 u gotta recharge once a day, on the xbox every 2-3 days.
I am a PC player, decided to buy a controller but I wasn't sure which to buy until I saw this video. I love how you broadly covered the features with plain language. You helped me so much. This video slaps man!
I actually like that Xbox can swap batteries, I have rechargeable packs that I set the controller on and it charges. Also lithium-ion batteries slowly lose how much charge they can hold so at some point the internal battery needs to get swapped (when you find that it only holds charge for a couple hours) or get a new controller. With the Xbox, when that rechargeable pack loses life, you buy a new battery and not a whole controller.
@@akm7812 True. I just ordered an Xbox controller to play on PC, and got 2 rechargeable batteries kit for 15 euro, which is quite the deal. Each pack is 850mAh and can go for about 15 hours with one charge, then put the charged one in and charge the drained one. I currently use DS4 to play, but some games do not have support for it, or the button prompts on screen are for Xbox controllers and it gets confusing, especially in fighting games, so I decided to switch to an Xbox controller. Will see how it performs in a couple of days, when it arrives.
Bro you not only bought a controller without any features like gyro, touchpad, inbuilt mic and adaptable triggers for a high price and also spent additional money on rechargable batteries and charger 💀.also lithium ion batteries dont loose their charge within a month, it takes years to notice any change and anyone with half a braincell can open controller and change them
@@Vamsi_Pokanati Why would I get a controller for PC for gyro, touchpad or built-in mic, when all these things are useless for PC and would just drain battery life?

Hey Trishful, thanks man I'm happy this was able to help you make your decision, always happy to help. Thanks for watching the video and have a great day, happy gaming!
I play almost all my games on Steam and at this point they've done VERY WELL in accommodating for Playstation controller functionality. I've been thinking about upgrading to a DualSense, but currently I'm still using a DS4 and haven't needed to download any software other than Steam. That being said my vote goes to DS4 and DualSense hands down. For one, I love using gyro aiming for shooters, but the real icing on the cake is the touchpad interface. Steam has made it fairly easy to remap these controls and I often use them to simulate KBM controls in certain games, particularly ones that allow quick slotting gear on keys 1-0, but I've found many other uses for them depending on the game. The touchpad functions that can be mapped are left click, left touch, right click, right touch, the four directions of swiping for left, right and center of the touchpad (although I usually only map the center). Either way that 16 potential button mappings right there. In addition, you can even map clockwise and counterclockwise swipes which I've mapped to simulate the mouse scroll wheel in certain games for scrolling through menus, zooming 3rd person camera in and out ect.
First review that I am watching from you and all I can say is that you are really good at capturing the attention and your speech is cohesive and fluent. Keep it up.

@@chukwubuikemoguagha Just wanted to confirm, so for the Xbox controller, we won't have to map each button or anything for each game? I used to play on my PS2 but now I want a controller for my PC. And Xbox controller layout seems a little odd. But I see almost everyone struggling with the PS5 DualSenese. Could you please help me.
@@tslcrusheryt6339 yea you wont have to map anything out with the xbox controller. Completely plug and play. The ps5 controller isnt that bad tho its just kind of big. But it is natively faster and more responsive but it is not plug and play at all. You gotta do a number of extra steps to get it working. Its not super difficult but it may take an hour to get everything right
You are the only person that even addressed my question. Is a PS5 controller going to be good to go on my PC? Nope. Thank you dude, seriously. You’ve got a new subscriber now lol
My advice, buy the elite 2 for your main driver it'll work more naturally with your PC (I've had mine for 2+ years, still works great, no noticeable loss in quality in analogs, buttons, and shoulder/triggers, battery is still stupid good somehow, expensive up front, but you will save long term on not having to buy batteries). But also, buy a PS5 for the PS ports that come to PC. Spiderman, Last of Us, and GoW on PC when using the PS5 controller (has to be plugged in) has some really cool features with the haptic feedback that do enhance the experience in single player games. I can see how some people don't like it, and definitely would turn setting off in multi, but it does add a sense of feel/intensity to the moment when the haptic is working.
Hey Matthew, yea man I agree with everything you said. Truth be told, if a person can afford it I always tell them to get both because they each have their own unique experiences that come with them. Thanks for watching the video man, I really appreciate it, have a great day and happy gaming!
I own both for PC gaming anything that doesn't work out of the boxes PlayStation I just switched directly over to the Xbox controller. Sony games that were made for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 played on the PC with dual sense is absolutely amazing. If the PlayStation 5 version of the game supports dual sense in almost all cases that I've noticed dual senses supported on the PC version. Death stranding is a good example of a game that has native support for dual sense.
Thanks man! You clearly covered the two things I wanted to know: 1. PS5 extra features don't work natively. 2. Buttons prompts are still in the ABXY format no matter what controller you use. Xbox controller for me, then.
I use on my PC, the Xbox One controller, and also the PS4 controller. They both work fine for most games. When I play a Playstation port I prefer to use the PS4 controller, and I imagine the PS5 controller is even better. I like the ergonomics of the Xbox controller, but I like the feel of the buttons on the PS4 controller. Depending on the feel of the game, I prefer one or the other.
This is the video i was looking for. The main reason i would want the Dualsense is to setup gyro aiming but i find the overall feel of the buttons and sticks of the xbox series controller to be much preferable.Thank you.
On verge of getting gaming pc, unsure on what controller to get, few have said ps5, some have said xbox, but ive heard it can be a headache connecting ps5 to pc as it requires software, im very new to pc gaming and im a plug in and play kinda dude, so this video has made up my mind, and im going with the xbox, based on its a lot easier to set up, thanks for the video upload brother.
I just bought a Xbox series controller for my pc today and I'm so happy and excited and I like it very much. Also gotta say I appreciate you man. you really mentioned some important points❤
Thanks for the video. I've been using a Dualsense for a year now for PC gaming, and although I love how comfortable holding it is and how nice it feels, that battery life is driving nuts and that's saying a lot from a player who rarely puts those many hours into it weekly but the fact that I cannot even complete a single player campaing on most games on a single charge is bothering me.
That´s a pretty nice comparison. That´s why I bought the xbox controller this week. It would be great to see, if it makes sense for players, who prefer competetive gaming.
DualSense being chargeable has almost no drawback, because first of all you will want to play many games Wired, for vibration support, haptics and what not, so it charges while playing. But even if you play wireless, you can plug it in while you're taking a bathroom break or eating. What you will want to do is get a charging station as well, simply place it in it while taking some break. Also PC support for DualSense is increasing rapidly, and almost all new games, even indie have native support for it. DS4Windows has been getting many updates recently too. The most crucial difference, especially for gaming is that DS has 250Hz UPDATE rate, while Xbox controllers always have had like 124Hz, this makes a huge difference in accuracy, with quick stick movements, DS controller can register more points of movement. And of course higher update rate means less input lag as well.
haptics effect really doesn't matter when u play on pc It's almost only for ps5 games and if you buy a ps5 controller ure paying for something u cant use
The PS5 controller feels great, and I do like the adaptive triggers/adaptive feedback, but the Xbox is so compatible across so many launchers. When it comes to PC, yeah, Xbox wins
I used to play with an Xbox elite controller for PC & after a year, it's right hand grip started to peel off, the trigger buttons became sticky & the left stick started drifting. I used some cleaning liquids & it got better for a few weeks but then again the problems started to surface. Then I brought the Dualsense, a month ago & I had no issues with game compatibilities. I think the dual sense makers did some uprgrades, I'm not sure but I can play Truck simulators & racing games easily. Although I can't comment on other titles but my migration has been smooth. Far as the feel, the triggers & the stick feels better that Xbox & I can precisely steer my trucks & cars & also precisely accelerate.
be sure to get "Firmware updater for DualSense", and get the latest firmware. And DS4Windows software is very nice and has many settings if you need it.
I’ve been with Xbox since 2001, and this year I switched to a ps5 controller for pc games. It was different, but damn was it nice. I loved the haptic feedback especially with the Sony games like uncharted
EXACTLY, the ps5 controller has really given Xbox a run for their money in all ways. This generation the PS5 has really made it tough for xbox in a lot of ways. Thanks for watching Toecutter (hell of a username😂), have a great day and happy gaming!
@@chukwubuikemoguaghaDS is almost perfect. what I hate about it, and a deal breaker for me is its short battery life compared to the xbox controller. It feels good playing for a week or two without charging batteries but with DS it can't even last quarter of a day without being plugged. Having a non-removable battery is also a deal breaker.
Can you replace the battery in the PS5 after the battery fails or do you have to toss the controller out? Replaceable batteries will extend the life of the controller.
I think with features like gyroscope, speakers, touchpad, haptic feedback, it could be a better choice. More and more games will receive this feature. But the real deal is the gyroscope that takes the game to another level. From what I saw on YT, shooting in FPS with the gyro is more accurate then on the regular controller. And how do you think, can gyro actually give you an edge in FPS games or can it be successfully used for example to drive in car games?
Hey Tranceholic thats a great question! I think gyro would be much better for car games because it will actually imitate the wheel movement and maybe even lead to much smoother control than joysticks in the future. But as for FPS games, I can't see it happening only because its much quicker to move your thumbs than it is to move your wrists. Even in real life shooting a gun is very difficult depending on the type and size of the gun. Using gyro on your controller in FPS games may lead to more realistic gameplay and movement but I doubt it would ever be as fun or as quick as just playing the same FPS game with a joystick controller. Thanks for watching the video as well and have a great day!
The sidewinder freestyle pro has gyro controls and if you map it only on steering it can be a pleasure to use in retro titles. If only Linux support was mainstream for controllers all the advanced features could come working out of the box.. automatic layout remapping is another advantage for open drivers and firmware.
I like your down to earth approach brother, keep it up, keep being you, thanks for the info, I'm switching from my ps4 controller (starting to get a bit of drift) to the xbox controller
Thanks Righteous, that means so much to me! This is a late reply, I know lol but thanks so much, I’ll keep going! Thanks for supporting and watching, have a great day and happy gaming!
The gyro alone makes the dualsense leagues ahead of the xbox controller for PC gaming. With the right setting gyro can literally gives you mouse aim, which we know a thumbstick will never match
I like the Xbox controller with the batteries because you can change the batteries anytime you want, and you don't have to charge them, just buy a set of chargable batteries and alternate them all. And also battery life matters too, you can get higher mah batteries to extend the life. Plus since they are replacable, the battery life possibly infinite.
I have an Xbox controller and it’s solid and works right out of the gate with no setup, but it’s not an all-in-one solution for me when I need to use gyroscope controls, or want to play indie/retro games because the Dpad is not great. The DualShock 4 was actually my controller for essentially everything, but it’s not the most comfortable in the hand compared to Xbox. If you don’t need gyro or don’t envision yourself needing the Dpad, then it’s perfect for you, but for me, it cannot be the controller for every situation and I always need a backup that has those other features.
Coming from a videographer ' get your back from off the walll ( being so close to the wall go atleast 8-12ft to create some depth 'then lights or decor will pop out even more
About ds4 windows, you can select to emulate a dualshock controller instead of Xbox, so that in game you'll have playstation signs (Triangle, square...)
I wish i had this video when i bought a ps5 controller for pc, now i hope i can return or trade it for an xbox one. Also love your videos and i wish you keep it up ❤
Great video mate. Right to the point. I have been using for so long my PS3 controllers on PC. Anytime WIndows make an update, I need to re install ds4. I will probably get a XBox controller because they are less expensive and I no need the cool stuff from the dual sense. Thanks mate.
@Merovingian1882 I followed the price for both controllers before and during blackfriday. The cheapest for dual was around 65 euros and 43 euros for the Xbox. I you found them at 30, please share the link.
Just got a new controller after using my 360 controller for 12 years (still works) got new version of dual sense, didn't buy the Xbox controller for the battery thing, needed something rechargeable.
Great video! I have one question about both controllers: do they have giroscope? I'm a big fan of that feature. Also, how good would you say is the PS5 controller support on Steam? Not gonna lie spending 60 on a controller + 20 in a stupid batery pack is kinda of a turn off for me.
Get both if you can but yes for PC gaming the Xbox Series X/S controller wins for native support, simplicity and compatibility even though the DualSense is the better controller. I have both and I much prefer the DualSense with all its amazing features and comfort but even for me if the PC game doesn’t support it natively I just switch to my Xbox controller.
Hey Ezio (Love your username lol, Assassins Creed was the best!) sorry for the late reply but yea thats very true. Thanks for sharing that info! Have a great day and happy gaming!
If the Playstation 5 has a mini version as small as the Xbox X Series I might would've gone for it, Xbox just feels so much comfortable to hold, PS5 strains my hand cause of the button layouts and its size
I actually prefer a Controller with batteries. It just gives you full control on how you wanna supply your device with power. With the Xbox Controller I'm not bound to regular AA batteries, I can also buy rechargable AA batteries (do they charge while inside the controller if USB-C is connected?) or I can use Xbox' own rechargable battery. Oh my gosh, in english it's so unconvenient to write that, in german we use completley different words for these two batteries, one's just a battery ("Batterie") and instead of rechargable battery we just say Akku. Either way, with the Dualsense I don't have that kind of control, when the battery becomes weak over time, you'll have to recharge it all the time or buy a new one. On PC or a Desktop Setup that's no issue because you can just plug in an USB-C cable at any time (sometimes eveb required for full feature support) but on consoles in a living room I imagine it to be pretty disturbing having to lay a cable all the way from the PS5 to you or needing a powerbank laying on your couch next to you. The Xbox at least gives us a choice.
Hey Dirk, yea thats true and whats funny is that since the making of this video, i would actually go with ps5 over xbox instead. Overall more features, better reliability and much fast and better performance. Thanks for watching the video man, have a great day and happy gaming!
Hey OptimusWrex, I can definitely hear where you’re coming from with that. I too always liked the Xbox controller more but I like Playstation as a better console overall so ive gotten used to playstation controllers lol. Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion man, i really appreciate it! Have a great day and happy gaming!
great video, im only pc gamer and just want to ask if for fighting games the xbox one is better choice. Im talking about mortal kombat style of games… want to try them out and some of them are pain on keyboard :d.
Hey Kopu, great question! This definitely comes down to preference. Factually speaking the ps5 controller is faster and can be overclocked to be even faster but the ergonomics of that controller is ok. I like the ergonomics of the xbox controller more but if you want a speedy controller the ps5 controller would be a better choice. Let me know what you decide to do! Thanks for watching the video, have a great day and happy gaming!
Hey Shredder, great username. Anytime, glad I was able to help! Thanks for watching the video, I really appreciate it! Have a great day and happy gaming!
Hey man it’s been one yr since you posted this video. Thanks a lot Did we have any improvement in the ps5 controller portability to pc players ? Ima bout to buy a controller but I believe the Xbox series s/x is still the better option what do u think?? Peace ✌️
Came here from an AI generated video, only showing different Controllers. Not saying what is good or bad. But you just say honestly how it is and which one is better for which purpose. Thats a like.
No argument at all, It is indeed a better option going for the Xbox controller, even if you have an old 360 controller lying around, almost all PC gaming is done with an Xbox controller setup in mind, However I would only suggest the PS5 option if you are into car racing games for the triggers, I have all sorts of controllers and every other option outside a microsoft controller is a pain to set up accross the board, Steam makes it easier but not everyone plays on that platform only.
I like the dualsense for PC but there's not enough support for the features I like about it. Plus I just got the Starfield Xbox controller so that's my new pad lol
Hey MatteeTheRogue, the starfox controller is nice lol, and i agree with you ps5 statement. You need a lot of third party support to get the full extent of the controller on PC which is so wack. Thanks for watching the video man, have a great day and happy gaming!
I prefer to use ps4 controller bc I have smaller hands. When I bought my first gaming pc I bought a cheap PowerA Xbox one controller and it was okay for a while then I bought an Xbox elite controller, and and while it had amazing build quality(but it's huge) it actually hurt my hands to use it to play for more than an hour so I sold it. Haven't tried the ps5 controller yet tho. I'm interested in getting a ps5 controller for pc... But idk the bigger controller might be uncomfy on small hands 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Hey jj G, You probably won't like the PS5 controller because it is a big controller as well, even bigger than the elite controller. But the Ps5 controller is still a really good controller, so I still recommend it if you can deal with the size. If not, the power A and PDP controllers are still a great option for smaller handed individuals. Let me know if this works for you, thanks for watching the video and have a great day!
You can buy a the play & charge kit for a Xbox One controller so its a rechargeable battery controller like the PS5 controller but way more longer battery life and charges way faster. The Xbox controller is one of the best.
Have ps4/ps5 controllers got better support now in 2023? Right now I have both ps4 and xbox one controller I want to know which one to keep and which one to sell
you should bump the desk towards the camera more chuck a shelf and collect vintage stuff from your country like and old gun maybe thats in any games you play, also chuck in some gaming items and anime art and you’re set
Oh that would be AWESOME!!! I don't have much space in my apartment right now for something like that but that is definitely being noted. Thank you so much for the suggestion Dane!
love that the xbox operate on batteries, long term you don't have to dissect the controller and try to fix it when the battery loses its charge or doesn't last as long. i'm dealing with this right now with a ps4 controller. i strictly game on PC and will now always choose a xbox controller, its plug and play and you don't have to use any 3rd party software to play games that run trough GOG or EPIC game store. Just trying to get rumbleverse to work for me a couple of weeks ago through the epic client was a pain. Even with all the tricks of adding it as a steam game and using their feats. still didn't work. Ended up having to dl ds4windows :/.
Hey Bruhman (love your username by the way lol) I understand and I completely agree. Honestly it seems like the only thing the ps5 controller has over the xbox controller in PC gaming is the fact that its a faster controller, thats it. And while speed is a big part of the discussion there are other xbox controllers that are just as fast. As for the batter thing, I agree with that as well as long as I'm using rechargeable batteries. Sorry about the late reply but thanks for commenting, that was a good read. Thanks for watching the video and have a great day! Happy gaming!
Yip, I find the reg AA battery compartment advantageous. If the battery in the ps controller gives out it's all round pressure, you either have to source a battery pack, open the controller and replace, pay someone to repair or send back for exchange, or even worse, buy a new controller. No downtime and extended controller life.
Thanks for the help. I’m a big PS5 player and just got a gaming laptop. I’m going with the Xbox controller the PS5 controller is impossible for me to hook up.
Hey Frankie, it shouldnt be hard to connect your ps5 controller to steam but if you’re having trouble maybe you can try ds4 windows. That might help, but if it doesnt then yea xbox is a nice and easy set up lol. Thanks for watching the video man, have a great day and happy gaming!
Hey Joao, nice! Happy you enjoy it man, hope it give you a greater gaming experience. Thanks for watching the video and have a great day, happy gaming!
Damn I ran across your video when I was about to order me a PS5 pad... Funny enough Xbox controllers are like 5$ more expensive where I live. I was using xbox 360 controllers for a while, wanted to try out ps5 pad mostly because of features and because it is more convenient for fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken... And now Im not so sure which one to get. Im okay with emulators tho, so would you still recommend to go with ps5 if I rather want to try something new or its absolutely not worth it? What I love about xbox is that it has asymmetrical mapping for camera and movement but direction keys are better done in PS5 imo and thats the selling point for me.
I bought ps4 controlles back in the day and it was a nightmare to setup multiple of them for couch gaming with friends, this year i need new ones so i think i will go xbox this time.
I had ps4 controller still have that,it is fucking nightmare, that controller was really close to letting me destroy my laptop but now i bought xbox wireless controller it is better for native support.

Hey Django, yea man they each have their pros and cons, I'm happy you know which one works for you. Thanks for watching the video, I really appreciate it! Have a great day and happy gaming!
The fact that in the 2020s the XBOX controller still needs alkaline batteries is a complete dealbreaker with me ... I was already leaning towards the Dualsense but now Im definitely buying it I really did consider buying an XBOX controller because of the native support because even though there is 3rd party software to make playstation controllers work as if they were xbox controllers ... it is really annoying that its always XBOX button icons that i see ... when the game tells me to press X Y A B ... especially confusing when Im told to press X ( I already own a Dualshock 4 , but it's very worn out after 8 years of use , which is why Im on the market for a new controller , and the on-screen icons has always been my biggest complaint with it , never had any complaints about the controller itself) (Edit : 8:20 OMG you really nailed it !!!! My whole gripes about the XBOX button layout !!!! Also, Assassin's Creed is my favorite game series to play with controller to begin with ,planning to revisit the series since i haven't touched it since origins and wanting to replay all the old games and also play the new ones as well is the whole reason why i wanted to buy a new controller rather than use my old and worn out DS4 ... man , its like we are on the same wavelength or something !!!) (Edit : 9:20 DS4Windows has never really had any problems for me , its always been seamless , I guess Im lucky then ? )
there are some cases (old games) where dinput can be beneficial but even then an xbox controller can emulate dinput with rewasd or some free alternative. also gyro can be used with emulators and to some extent (mouse emulation i think) in regular games. i'm not sure about fancy rumble but it might be implemented through steam in the future or something definitely not the best option for someone who just wants to play on pc but for a power user the dualsense can definitely be a better choice
Playboi!!!!! Great vid!!! Also something to think about is people’s familiarity with these controllers. I have played PlayStation since PS1 and have never owned an Xbox. Yea buttons may be the same layout but the sticks are in different locations. DS4 has helped with one of my games. Still have trouble with battlefield and ready or not outside of Steam. It is what it is I guess. Hold up…you do video calls?! Yo give me a shout sometime!! 🤣 Yo for real I like the setup, maybe consider not doing anything to it but use it as a green screen and digitally create your background. A lot more creativity and low cost on doing that. My streams I was considering getting things in the background but for now I just cut the background out and post up on stream. Aight playboi stay up and my bad I was late to respond, been a bit tied up with life. Keep it coming with these vids.
RICKY!!!! My guy, thanks for the kind words and your thoughts I think I'll keep it simple like you said, makes the most sense. Sorry to hear bout the ds4 situation, its the best option but its still not perfect. And yea I do video calls lol, shoot me an email and we can set one up no biggie!
Hey Geeno, thanks for the compliment, I happy you enjoyed the video! Sorry about the late reply but no, not unless you use a great controller like the dualsense edge that naturally registers a 1ms response time. Other than that theres really no way to do it through bluetooth

Great point. Rechargeable batteries are really cheap now as well.
That's the deciding factor
@@akm7812 True. I just ordered an Xbox controller to play on PC, and got 2 rechargeable batteries kit for 15 euro, which is quite the deal. I currently use DS4 to play, but some games do not have support for it, or the button prompts on screen are for Xbox controllers and it gets confusing, especially in fighting games, so I decided to switch to an Xbox controller.
Thanks man, this single comment has helped leaps and bounds.
First review that I am watching from you and all I can say is that you are really good at capturing the attention and your speech is cohesive and fluent. Keep it up.
Thanks man that means a lot, I will! Thanks for watching, have a great day and happy gaming! (Also I love your username lol, sounds like a good story title)
Its not super difficult but it may take an hour to get everything right
You answered all my questions in one video. Thank you.
Hey Nazbot, absolutely no problem, happy to do it and happy to be of help! Thanks for watching the video and have a great day, happy gaming!
You are the only person that even addressed my question. Is a PS5 controller going to be good to go on my PC? Nope. Thank you dude, seriously. You’ve got a new subscriber now lol
The Xbox wireless dongle really makes the Series controller feel like a console type experience because it’s just as reliable
I am planning to buy the power a xbox officially licensed enhanced controller. How is the quality compared to xbox controllers?
The main reason i would want the Dualsense is to setup gyro aiming but i find the overall feel of the buttons and sticks of the xbox series controller to be much preferable.Thank you.
exactly the video I was looking for! thanks man!

Then KAM is better
This is the information I was looking for. Thanks
No problem Mike! Happy I was able to help, have a great day and happy gaming!
And of course higher update rate means less input lag as well.
haptics effect really doesn't matter when u play on pc
It's almost only for ps5 games and if you buy a ps5 controller ure paying for something u cant use
@@s4uss Alright
@@s4ussbut i dont think that ds4 windows has the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback for dualsense.
@@abcdefgh6121it does with some games , in assetton corsa w steam u get dualsense x feedback and trigger effects
Replaceable batteries will extend the life of the controller.
xbox for pc, you just plug it in and it works already because it is microsoft
Thanks very much for the video help me a lot I wich you had more subscribers because you deserve at least 500k or more ❤️❤️
I think with features like gyroscope, speakers, touchpad, haptic feedback, it could be a better choice.
@@chukwubuikemoguagha yes but you can use gyro for micro adjustments alongside joysticks
@@D1S0- Mmm, good point. I'll have to try that myself, thanks for that!
The sidewinder freestyle pro has gyro controls and if you map it only on steering it can be a pleasure to use in retro titles.
If only Linux support was mainstream for controllers all the advanced features could come working out of the box.. automatic layout remapping is another advantage for open drivers
and firmware.
I hate gyro on fps games so much its just so weird
The dual sense is strikingly beautiful and comfortable to hold.
Thank you for being so CLEAR!!
No problem Sachin! Thanks for watching the video man and have a great day!
I am planning to buy the power a xbox officially licensed enhanced controller. How is the quality compared to xbox controllers?

Great video mate. Right to the point. I have been using for so long my PS3 controllers on PC. Anytime WIndows make an update, I need to re install ds4. I will probably get a XBox controller because they are less expensive and I no need the cool stuff from the dual sense. Thanks mate.
@Merovingian1882 I followed the price for both controllers before and during blackfriday. The cheapest for dual was around 65 euros and 43 euros for the Xbox. I you found them at 30, please share the link.
Great video, thanks man! Helped a lot.
Just got a new controller after using my 360 controller for 12 years (still works) got new version of dual sense, didn't buy the Xbox controller for the battery thing, needed something rechargeable.
Really solid presentation.
Thanks for watching the video Jason, good luck on your mission btw. God Speed!

I have both and I much prefer the DualSense with all its amazing features and comfort but even for me if the PC game doesn’t support it natively I just switch to my Xbox controller.
you can use gyroscope using a dualshock/ dualsense on pc . That feature is also on pc
For the PC you need to buy the battery pack so that does add to the brice bro
Hey Dirk, yea thats true and whats funny is that since the making of this video, i would actually go with ps5 over xbox instead. Overall more features, better reliability and much fast and better performance. Thanks for watching the video man, have a great day and happy gaming!

Did we have any improvement in the ps5 controller portability to pc players ?
I play FPS games better on the ps controller. The joysticks are in the right place ☝️
If the majority of your games are in Steam ,you are good with the PS5,no need to worry ,it supports the ps5 controller, you can map it ,all good
Thanks a lot that was very useful 😊
Great content!

Bro, Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero is about to drop, and I’ve got the PC game. I need a controller, and I’m pretty sure I’ll go with an Xbox controller.
Good video, man. Thank you so much.
No problem Steven, happy to help! Thanks for watching the video and have a great day! Happy Gaming!
love that the xbox operate on batteries, long term you don't have to dissect the controller and try to fix it when the battery loses its charge or doesn't last as long. i'm dealing with this right now with a ps4 controller.
i strictly game on PC and will now always choose a xbox controller, its plug and play and you don't have to use any 3rd party software to play games that run trough GOG or EPIC game store.

I was already leaning towards the Dualsense but now Im definitely buying it
I really did consider buying an XBOX controller because of the native support because even though there is 3rd party software to make playstation controllers work as if they were xbox controllers ... it is really annoying that its always XBOX button icons that i see ... when the game tells me to press X Y A B ... especially confusing when Im told to press X ( I already own a Dualshock 4 , but it's very worn out after 8 years of use , which is why Im on the market for a new controller , and the on-screen icons has always been my biggest complaint with it , never had any complaints about the controller itself)
(Edit : 8:20 OMG you really nailed it !!!! My whole gripes about the XBOX button layout !!!! Also, Assassin's Creed is my favorite game series to play with controller to begin with ,planning to revisit the series since i haven't touched it since origins and wanting to replay all the old games and also play the new ones as well is the whole reason why i wanted to buy a new controller rather than use my old and worn out DS4 ... man , its like we are on the same wavelength or something !!!)
(Edit : 9:20 DS4Windows has never really had any problems for me , its always been seamless , I guess Im lucky then ? )
I'm a PlayStation dude. I like playing ps5 on a 75-inch 8k TV
there are some cases (old games) where dinput can be beneficial but even then an xbox controller can emulate dinput with rewasd or some free alternative.
also gyro can be used with emulators and to some extent (mouse emulation i think) in regular games.
i'm not sure about fancy rumble but it might be implemented through steam in the future or something
definitely not the best option for someone who just wants to play on pc but for a power user the dualsense can definitely be a better choice
Yo for real I like the setup, maybe consider not doing anything to it but use it as a green screen and digitally create your background. A lot more creativity and low cost on doing that. My streams I was considering getting things in the background but for now I just cut the background out and post up on stream.
Aight playboi stay up and my bad I was late to respond, been a bit tied up with life. Keep it coming with these vids.
