When jagex' anticheat is a youtuber
RS is a bot game.
It's not worth funding. The botters keep prices low for everybody, keep items circulating, plus this makes Jagex look good and the RUclipsr gets great content. It's a win-win-win.
@@mattpinap Jagex loves pretending that they care about bots and customer support
they are to fuckin cheap to hire him and probably take his royaltys from youtube as a tax also.
@Charles Thibault Higher ups in Jagex are almost 100% in cahoots with botters.
when the rev caves was a problem Jagex would not authorize the OSRS team to make any changes, up until about the time the Venezuelans started taking over the farm. Then the OSRS team was allowed to change the cave.
even one of the Founders of Jagex has stated they have no interest in quashing bots. It would kill off a lot of membership revenue.
Ended more abruptly than A Friend when he sees he is over the 10 minute mark, lol.
The video is 12 minutes and 18 seconds!
@@SirPugger I know haha, was trying to make a joke! Love the content by the way bro!

There’s a reason why he’s a dead RUclipsr

I'm surprised you got a way to contact Jagex support
@b1g bo1 *youtubers with like 100k+ subs
Man idk what you guys are talking about, I emailed them about a forgotten password and it was fixed later that day.
@@exixy6958 that's way different than false bans, etc
@@hewfil1 ah that is true, didnt think about it that way
Right
Seeing all of these bots makes Ironman mode much more appealing lmao
Group ironman
I been preaching this for years now
The bans for botting are not permanent, so the penalty is worth it to them to build up an account. I only have known a hand full of people who do not bot or buy gp over 15 years in rs. It’s disgusting how many clans or big groups do this.
@@redfuryfive6616 You get a perm ban for botting lol.
It is
Imagine how many bots would be banned if Jagex looked into player reports like they do for your reports .
That would slow down banning them. Can you imagine reading and looking into everything the average osrs would report?
They should pay their employers to hop onto the game and find the bots themselves even a blind goblin could distinguish a real prayer from a bot
@@pakazemuk That's a waste of time, they have much better automated systems to detect botting. And where does this idea that Jagex is awful at banning botters? They're quite competent, in fact, they are actually really good at it. For example, just a few days ago Mod Twisted out of the blue nuked 5,000 bots. Also to the original comment, Mod Twisted does go through player reports too, at the end of December he tweeted that he banned another 2,000 bots only from player reports. There is just a problem with how accessible it can be to make money from many accounts.
@@Klassick07 quite competent at banning legit players too
+ a lot of legit players coz people report other people for nothing as well
If birdhouse bots exist there are probably herb run bots as well
Its the same script doing it. You can choose if you want to use either or both on the runs.
@@TheCountOfFreaking hmmmm, and how would you know that?
@@dovahkiin52 I've seen it in action in several videoes.
There's a bot for pretty much everything, you can even find bots that do all the basic quests
@@haftners Creating a bot isn't hard at all with just some minor coding experience. If you have a client that can accept inputs through code it can be done through that. Otherwise you can use a record to replay actions.
its great that you are in such close contact with jagex, i hope they do this for all big content creators & get all you guys feedback to make the game even greater!
When does Pugger get hired so he can literally look into the botters inventories and really do full blown investigations. Get on this, Jagex. This man loves doing your job for you.
The bonds are usually from the GE. And usually people who sell bonds at the ge are players that wants to buy gp the legit way
I love how the sponsor of the video literally helps botters to stay alive
Kinda nice that you and Jagex seem to be working together to stop these bots
0:29 “if you bot for 20 hours a day on the same account, it’s almost 100% likely that your bot will be banned.”
Machine learning bot: “hold my beer.”
Also bot: why am I holding beer?
Torvesta be fuming at bird nest prices dropping.
Oh my days
Am fuming too
I guess this might explain why bird nest prices have steadily been dropping over the last few months.
I had been curious about that too actually, I had suspected Giant Mole bots
@Egg T Yeah, but is that because there's less demand for them or a greater supply of ingredients?
Jagex, listen, just hire Pugger already for your anti-bot team. He has such a large rally behind him, think of him like a cop with a ton of informants. Invaluable.
They dont want an actual anti-bot system but the illusion of a good one. They profit way too much off of em.
@@hardboiled2987 Agree'd. They put off banning bots back in the day because they would have went under otherwise. It's a controlled mutual destruction type deal I think.
so kinda like they did once. which eventually backfired.
How about those thiving bots at dryanor? They are online 24/7

Loot bots at 1gp a seed..is even profit there
Constantly, hell I found so many in one world it covered my whole screen, even told a pmod in the cchat I'm in but cest la vie
@@ostrider3500 I mean, what's a pmod going to do?
@@tiredpandabear I figured they could show up and take a screenshot of all the accs if they felt so inclined and send it to someone that could do something about it but they just told me to report em. It was just such a grossly blatant farm I felt compelled to bring it up since it was the largest I've ever seen at Draynor. That was a one time thing though, doesnt feel right asking someone that might have a line to someone that could get something done and asking them to do something, I'd rather just enjoy their company and leave it at that.
On zeke’s staff shop at varrock there’s a lot of level 11 bots hopping through the worlds, they all have around 38 runecrafting and i have no idea what they do because when i check the shops all items are on stock
Battlestaff bots.
Uhh.. Zeke is the scimitar salesman in al kharid. Zaff is the staff shop npc in varrock, and it's because they are battlestaff bots trying to buy the 5 staves all day long.
@@xsomewhattoxic sorry i meant zaff
I've seen them before too. They are buying battlestaves and selling on the ge for 600 profit each
Have you done the diary? Apparently we have a different shop stock to people who haven't hence why you can see staffs.
I don even play runescape anymore but I still watch these videos.
The first time I went to Fally to fill some jugs myself I ran into a ton of bots doing it to, ofc I reported them all. I love to sit & watch ur videos. I've learned a lot from them. I just started playing osrs again after 20 years. I play a lot each day. It helps pass the time esp in the middle of a pandemic. Keep up the good work & I'll keep watching.
It's so good that you're working with Jagex. Good luck giving the entire company a reality check in regards to botting.
Remember when that one guy made a false submission pretending he was a flipping bot to prove he could make it into one of your videos?
Wild that now you uncover actual flipping bots O_o
Plz make SirPugger a runescape MOD to track down bots and ban them instantly!
I dont think its that easy for them to just ban away people unless its 100% certain.
If only it was that simple
You mean an anti-botting software...
*The fact is Jagex is basically part of money laundrying system without even knowing it. (They know, they do nothing because $$$)*
Explain
Flipping Bots? As an OSRS content creator who centers on flipping, this is really disturbing. Thank you for bringing this to light SirPugger!
It was pretty obvious though, I remember getting a 10k margin on prims a year ago
Two things I've been meaning to email you;
- Bunch of bots over different worlds selling the same, small amounts of less common items which can be picked up cheaper on the GE, then sold to the Pollivneach General store.
- Nature abyss runecrafting bots which are using abyssal bracelets, rune chain, legs, rune hatchet, all around 58 combat, all banking at Ferox Enclave.
Sir Pugger: uploads vid
Society: declares today to be a holiday to watch it
Jagex just needs to put you on their payroll for a position already. Period. So much great work put into everything getting this knowledge out there.
I had an old kurask alt I decided to bond up since bond prices are dropping. The amount of bots at kurasks in the slayer cave is crazy. Every single world has 1-2 bots.
Kurasks are good money
@@RedeemedOSRS they're alright. I just like that all the drops stack so you can stay there for days at a time.
Been spending sometime in the fight caves, while spending my Tok I noticed millions upon millions of mithril and silver ore being sold to the shop in the 330s worlds
Hey man. Love your stuff... I know most players are members, but I'm getting new friends into the game on free to play and the bots are wild. I'd love for you to help this issue. Show some live to our broke brothers in f2p
This game is full of fraud and felons lol
This one might be tougher to crack. I have noticed after teleporting to the gem mine and climbing the ladder, often all the gem rocks are mined dry, but there's nobody around. Are there bots programmed to log out in the same tick that any other players appear on the screen? I can't come up with another explanation. I've seen it happen over a dozen times over the last few months.
Well done on the ad bud. That’s probably the first one I didn’t immediately skip through.
Give it two more times
Would explain the drop on bird nests was 5k a month ago
i think becuz of the attention moles got in general, maybe some money making video ir smthing
Wonder why rune kite g has dropped like 30k
There's always a few bots at Kurasks, they usually wear full dragon, d med, and obby shield (this gear varies a little sometimes). Saw one of the bots 2 weeks ago and reported it, it was maxed combat wearing hitpoints cape and I just saw it again last night. Rsn was "hospitalbill".
Imagine if Sirpugger was a better himself and he only shows the competing bots to save his own from being banned...
he has his content farm bot lmao
Fun idea for Jagex: pay bot hunters. Per 50 bots found in a botfarm (say i find a massive farm of 200 bots), allow the investigator to keep 1 bots inventory at random, so 4 bots worth of gold or w/e. Within a week it would be an unofficial minigame to hunt bots, and some players would find really long standing an undectable farms just like our boy here does. Or maybe per hundred bots found, one free bond. Any incentive to players motivating into becoming bot private investigators. Maybe if someone is just abusing the report for free money in this system, 3 failures of false reports a month and youre locked out of the incentive program. PI license revoked
How is the Zammy wine price at general store still not changed? That's an easy update. It won't address the bot issue but it definitely will help catching the mules.
There's a bot in almost every world in full obby at Kurasks
What do you do for a living?
Sir Pugger: bot farming
great content man. I hope you'll post more frequently!(even if it's not all bot bust content, more livestreams would be nice as well unless I'm just missing them)
When you think about it, jagex probably makes a ton of money off of botters. They'll make a show of getting rid of them or making it look like a struggle but anyone reading this comment that's stopped by the duel arena or GE know bots are wildly out of control. All moderators would need to do is take 10 min out of their day just to ban a handful of them a day to severely make it less profitable for botters. But their existence is almost crucial to reduce item inflation in the GE.
The falador zammy bots are gone now, I have been poaching them the last couple days with a dude I met doing the same thing.
What I found was, the bot farm grabbing the wines in the deep wildy with the law rune mules are part of that farm selling to the general store.
The ones with zammy bottoms and mage robe tele grabbing the wines just before the wilderness are part of a different farm. They go to the bar across the general store and buy beers for food when the monks smack the shit out of them.
There's a new one there now with bots wearing mithril.
Also found another bot farm that was all very high levels to get to the second story of wine spot just outside the wilderness also.
Anything thing I noticed was the insane amounts of tiaras/unstrung symbols/hard leather bodies being sold to the general stores by bots also.
Oh nice, another RuneScape video, thanks for the content.
what would be really cool is if jagex insentivised reporting bot farms, like for each bot you report, if they get banned you get tokens equivilent to the bot's gold. then you could spend these tokens on cool vanity items. like a ban hammer or somthing
The fact you think people who bot always buy bonds baffles me. You can buy membership codes for as cheap as $2 for 16 days and if you buy them in bulk you get then even cheaper
Yeah idk why both Crumb and SirPugger seem to think that, these are people making money OFF of jagex; they aren't going to give jagex money lol.
They're probably using bonds as a short explanation for the overhead - while botters almost certainly use membership codes more than bonds, having to explain the cost of conversion to USD and then buying membership codes would be too cumbersome for the pacing of the video.
Hey! I am aware of this. I thought bonds would be an easy way of explaining the cost for now. $2 for 16 days of membership is comparable to buying gold (50 cents per mill roughly), and then buying a bond (4 mill) for 14 days of membership. But yes, when bonds are more expensive, and twitch primes especially are around, botters don't buy bonds.
Yoooo shoutout to me at 5:40!! lmao
Quite an abrupt end, I thought my phone froze lol
Bot farms realized you can cycle accounts. Reports are a lot rarer that way. Especially F2P bots were affected by this new strategy. They used to buy or bot mass accounts, now their accounts last 3x as long but they have to keep 10x as many. Quite a smart system tbh.
Always impressed with these things. Can't wait to see what Jagex does to combat this.
Do you know more about this / have information about it? From making this video I assumed the same thing but haven't heard about them doing it really
When will jagex Remove the dueling arena?! It’s the source of almost all of the botting in this game is a stain on the community
It shouldn't be removed but maybe the gambling aspect should be taken away. Its a great place for nh/high risks to go. I agree its nothing but toxicity for the game though taking it away will only anger the pvp/high risk community.
@@70percentAdvertising I guess I mean staking should be removed, yeah the gambling aspect which causes people to sell all of their belongings and take second mortgages out on their houses.
@@70percentAdvertising like hardly any actual genuine pvp takes place there it seems
I'm also with you on removing the gambling aspect. Although it's sad that jagex will probably never do it because if theres more bots and accounts being created for that specific reason, it helps the game out and if they remove it, jagex could lose a lot of money. It's also sad because they will use the excuse of "angering the community" rather than the actual reason of the company losing money. I'd like to hear your thoughts cause I could be completely wrong lol.
@@alexajlouny2867 it’s just unnecessary. I’m sure even the high risk/pvp community would be happy if they took it out because of the benefits it would provide the game. The economy would get better, the game would become more about the actual game itself rather than a tool to make as much money as you can through staking and gambling. Jagex’s unwillingness to do anything about it really leads me to believe that they’re in on it to a degree, upsetting the community just isn’t a valid excuse if it means prolonging the life of this great game. Ugh. It’s just so frustrating man.
Your channel is an absolute hidden gem. Been watching since the beginning 👌
Is the 1 hour ironman vid still coming? Love the content your doing a good job in a saturated content creator space. You keep it unique I like that
Next vid is the 1 hour Ironman gp challenge!
I seriously had an Ad during your video that featured a RWT website where you could purchase an infernal capes or exchange real life money for in-game cash.
Sometimes I dont even have to say what im looking for the ads just come up.
don't forget computing power, I have botted this game if you only have a specific amount of system resources to run a specific amount of accounts available cycling a ton of low requirement accounts in short periods helps avoid a ban but you still maintain the maximum uptime your hardware can handle distributed among those short logins.
The best osrs yt content out i love the tips leading to huge bans
We've been here before. Jagex do your job. You have the general public doing your work for you, again. Hire this guy
How is SirPugger not a pmod? Or even a Jmod?
You Sir a true hero and deserve your own BotBuster Cape! Legendary player here and a true saviour to a game we all love!
Yeah Runescape Botting is just getting worse and worse. every new video there's hundreds if not thousands of more bots. Jagex clearly does not care. They bann a few obvious bot farms because some of them are too obvious to ignore. This is why bot farms don't get banned without players alerting Jagex. because they don't care. Bots make money and inflate the "active" player numbers.
also, this game is coded in a garbage engine. They should've remade runescape in somerhing better a long time ago instead of investing into shitty new games that fail.
Sir pugger is the guy that walks up to you on your slayer task and asks if you’re a bot
Let's start small. Remove the duel arena.
Gl with that.
This is an osbot script that's been in beta for some time now. I honestly thought they would check these every so often, it'd serve as a good guide for what people are currently botting
Also look out for alching bots at the grand exchange, and on top of the duel arena stadium in random worlds. They're most likely future zulrah bots
alching "bots" are simple auto-clickers, which are usually included with simple auto typers, which many players already have. I don't find it any more likely that auto click users will make or use Zulrah bots as compared to other rule breakers and/or gold farmers, botters or not.
Believe it or not, the vast, vast majority of auto click users are player-bot hybrids that use the auto clicker to simply increase afk time, and most of these people are too paranoid or too lazy to develop or use more power rule breaking tools, such as bots, social engineering tactics (scamming), and/or hacking, and people that are willing to break the rules in that way are less likely to be player/bot hybrids, as they are willing to buy/steal a pre-trained account and/or suicide bot (bot with the expectation of a ban, using a network or mules in order to secure the wealth gained)
I don't know if you knew about this, but there's a bot farm picking up planks just north of the new guild war area in the wilderness. Just the other day when I was pking in the area, I seen a group of at least 15-20 lvl 3 bots in every world picking up planks in the graveyard. How I know they were bots, after a few seconds of seeing me, every single bot would log out at the same time, even though I wasn't able to attack them, and they all ran in a single file line, exiting the graveyard.
i really enjoy your vids, keep them up!,so intresting
Common/ uncommon f2p bots
The food store in Port Sarim is always being bought out.
There’s a flesh crawler spawn near the east side of the map in stronghold, only one spawns but in the exact same time. Botters auto click this spot for hours.
Giant frogs in Lumbridge are constantly botted.
Wheat picking bots south of Draynor Manor.
Man can't go anywhere without running into a bot
Check the bots at demonic gorillas. Drop some Runite bolts and watch the bots come scrambling over for them. All high level, all in void and all doing the same movements! Demonics drop bolts and I think the programme picks them up so when they see some you’ve dropped it automatically goes to collect!
the absolute state of this game lmao
Before the stores started selling packs of water filled vials, I too would be tempted to make a program save countless hours of my soul slowing dying by filling up 28 vials then rebanking for a few hours
I'm beginning to wonder if there's even real people still playing runescape 😂all these bot videos haha
They banned me for macroing. Never touched 3d party software lol.
There’s more bots than real players
@@damion1121 fact
The biggest issue in reality, is economic issues in other countries, like Venezuela where their currency is so ridiculously horrible, in-game currency is actually way more stable and allows them to pay their bills and get food.
We would not have as many Bots, though we would still have Bots, if people weren't literally relying on their bot Farms to feed their families. When you're doing something for life and death, you're less likely to give up.
@@ieatthebooty2494 This is a huge problem actually for the health of the game. As much as it sucks for them, you can’t have a healthy game economy that way.
Is sir pugger a pmod yet?!
He's higher Than pmod
I recently found a bot farm at blue dragons in the taverly dungeon, i found them in the south east corner of the blue dragon area where a few bots would safespot the blue dragons their names are obvious too like jack3654 and such.
So basically the automated system thats meant to stop bots isn't working?
No, but it isn't perfect
Don't forget it's falsely banning multi loggers for macroing as well.
Why don't we also talk about how Jagex has been giving them free membership through the prime promotions for months and months..
thing to remember is they don’t use bonds, they use membership codes that are insanely cheap when buying from sellers
2/3 people aren’t subscribed. Bots
@SirPugger mate about 9 months ago I use to be able to flip items for very decent profits. I had a massive list of items like barrows gear and sets, all types of high level rings and necklaces etc. So many items had massive margins varying from 20-300k profits and it would simply be a race to get the margins before someone else did. Nowadays 90% of the items I use to flip have minimal margins I'm talking 1 or 2k. I would discord my screen with the lads and over about 45 mins I'd be millions in profit and just having a laugh. I'm telling you flipping bots are a massive issue now. Back to the grind mate.
Calling 1year till Pugger disaprears x.x, guy busting 3-4b bot farms prob ruining familys and livings, somone just gonna pay 10k.
Itll take a whole village of vennys to come together to chip in gp
nice to see bots being taken seriously. its like an arms race between jagex's programmers and the bots' programmers
I mean who wants to spend their day filling up Vials/jugs of water hahaha
I honestly wonder what % of players online are actual players... my guess is Jagex knows this % but cant afford to ban them all bot nuke style as it would destroy the economy and their income.
Trust me, 20hrs a day doesnt get you bamned :P
I agree did 24 hours a day and took 4-5 months for the ban. Made so much money from that lol.
Now use this as a reminder to do your bird house runs!
Its sad that you shut down more bot farms then Jagex ever could.......
I was doing construction late at night in rimmington, I've noticed a lot of bots with level 50 construction with no other levels, some had herblore levels but still no other levels besides construction. I noticed it when I wasn't on a house party world but I'm sure it goes on there too.
You better get paid for doing their job.
I remember the good old days, botted for 3 weeks straight without logging out at all or crashing. still have the account to this day
I miss being able to Suicide Bot and not get banned... Would have a max cape on my main by now if it was still 2010 lol
I remember the good old days when there were actual players instead of boots and we had cool PvP minigames like The Fist of Guthix
"two of every three viewers of mine are not subscribed". Does anyone wanna tell sir pugger that's just how views work? Just because you watched someones video don't mean that you you are subscribing.

kick ass work my guy! i appreciate your work! im curious though, do you just have a J mod on your friends list and thats how you talk with jagex?
You should definitely check out the bot farms at kurask in the fremmy slayer dungeon. There are a ton of accounts with close to the same stats... They wear the exact same armour. They're on a ton of different worlds, same location, same armour.
I found a bot farm in RS3 where all of the bots were around level 80 and they were all mining the same rock in those tunnels under the bandos digsite you excavate during archaeology. They all had void in their name and I sat there for 10 minutes reporting each one, but then they logged out I think when they noticed me watching them. I'm kicking myself for not taking a screenshot.
Feldip hills has a lot of bots that login decently late at night and hunt red chins. A lot of the accounts have some random stats and then really high hunter. They keep crashing my worlds 🙄 so I set up a cannon lol
Hi Sirpugger, there are plenty of skeletal wyvern bots. They all wear full torags, glory whip and a elemental shield. Also many hacked accounts are botting with the same gear.
Would love to see compilations with jagex for these amazing busts.
