I hope this trip down memory lane is a boost for you. These videos were the inspiration for so many humans out there to get off the couch and get moving and taking care of themselves. I know you deal with your own struggles to motivate yourself in your day to day, but putting yourself out there like this has helped so many people. You should be super proud.
You are a ray of sunshine and laughter! What a gift! I work out daily at OTF and made a commitment that exercise be number one. The shut down affected me deeply and I am so grateful to go. Ogie Shaw says exercise needs to be daily and in doing it for five years in a row changes our lives forever! I consider myself an athlete and the badass power Walker.!
I am a proponent of Orangetheory. It is a challenge to do the circuit training of floor, rowing and treadmill for this 64 year old curvy overweight retired teacher. My stamina has increased and I’m less flabby. We have started doing the class 2 times a week so I think we’ll see more definition in my muscles.
So I work at an OTF at the front desk (well obviously not rn because pandemic) but I gotta say, THIS VIDEO IS DEFINITELY MAKING ME MISS THE STUDIO AND THE WORK OUTS :(

There's nothing better than a mind and body that are both healthy and happy. Even if your body gets put on the back burner for a sec while you work on doing the best thing for your mind, it'll be well worth it once you've got it all sorted and they're working in tandem. Thank you so much for your OTF videos. I joined OTF recently after having watched many of your videos. I’m only 4 workouts in, but it feels good to be exercising again in groups without worrying about killing myself like in CrossFit. And it’s fun. They really do a great job. I’ll have to check back after a few months and see if I have transformed myself (#diet) but I am confident that I’m in a good place. Now I want to try one of their lifting classes !
I just have to say that you have inspired me to start and keep going to orange theory in st.louis, you’re freaking hilarious and love all of your videos!
What an amazing journey. The OTF studios in Portland are open! You should drive down for a class and make a video of it. My home studio Slabtown is the best!
I totally understand. I had the same concern when they first reopened, but I know I would probably suffer more if I don’t go get my splats points. The studio enforces lots of precautions like cutting the class size to half, maintaining social distance and masks are required for everyone. I have been feeling very safe so far.
I LOVED this video. Great job putting it together. i'm still at the beginning of my journey. I went unlimited at the end of June, and this week, I'll be going 6 times. But I'm with you (or the old you)...NO! to burpees...and NO! to that ridiculous ab dolly. I'm still trying to convince my trainer to warn me when either of those things pop up, so I can drop the class. No luck with that so far. By the way - I saw someone label the ab dolly as "satan's skateboard" last night, and I am totally stealing it. What a perfect description.
How has the dating life changed after this weightloss? I gotta be honest man one of the biggest reasons I lost weight was to get laid and it worked !!!!
