Totally love the Ferrari Pinin factoid. This is what differentiates Catchpole, Cammisa and Hagerty from other reviews. I'm glad Ferrari made this car even though they didn't have to. I think it's really trick that the ultimate purpose of the car is to enhance the brand by proving their mettle. Very smart. Too bad only 0.01% of the population of Earth will ever understand what Catchpole just experienced, but that's Ferrari for you, NOT for the common person. There are many, many more companies that are happy to deliver on that need way better than Ferrari ever can, no matter how smart their engineers are. Wow Henry, you are making beautiful videos! Love the music! All the content ofcourse, as well as the way you draw me into them, like in the movies. Congratulations!! This is the best Purosangue video I've seem.

Love the fact that he brings his personal life to the experience. Monkey and burgers clearly overrated, beaten, eaten. About the question "if a child would love the Purosangue?", I hope not. If so, our society is really in big troubles once again... there s nothing to dream about the Purosangue. It s a suv, a compromise, a pure marketing exercice. Well executed of course. Love the video! I'm surprised you did not mention the Sultan of Brunei's 456 GT four-door saloon and five-door estates versions, as I always thought they were an indication of demand for a more practical Ferrari that the company itself was unwilling / unprepared to cater to (at least not on the "mass" market)
While it's nice to hear it's actually a properly engineered driver's car, it's still more LA-celebrity-status-symbol Lamborghini Urus-like to me more than a proper grand-touring Ferrari, I'd take a V12 GTC4 Lusso any day of the week over this no matter how objectively worse that car may be. The Lusso just oozes class, luxury and style in a way the Purosangue could never. Amazing video nonetheless and I'm extremely glad Hagerty gives a place for Henry to shine, just when you thought they already are the best automotive content out there!
Hello Henry, actually the Pinin's running gear was taken from a 512 BB and the platform is a stretched 400 GT base. That's because its engine is a 180º V12 and not a wider V like the 412 you mentioned. Besides, the Pinin was premiered at the 1980 Turin Motorshow while the 412 was introduced 5 years later.
I have watched a number of reviews, all excellent, but I saved Henry's for last and for good reason. I guess that one could draw the analogy related to the Purosangue. I think they did it just to show the world that they're still king when it comes to making special cars. They can make a special car while catering to what the public wants, a crossover. They did it just to prove a point. And I don't mind.
I love the fact how some journalists ask 'Is this a proper ... ' as if they are to determine what's proper and what isn't, while the manufacturers can't. When Porsche came up with Cayenne, everyone said 'Porsche sold out', and made SUVs just to stay alive. 20 years later, the Cayenne is the fastest SUV on the Nurburgring, faster than many sports cars, and yet people ask 'Is this a real Porsche'. I just don't get it. Does this car have to be wallpaper worthy to be a proper Ferrari? And then, how much comfort can one expect from a 750PS V12? Ferrari doesn't build cars with comfort as a priority. They are sports car manufacturer. Although this is a nice review, I just can't get what the fuzz is all about being 'proper'. If anyone knows, its Ferrari, not some journalist who drives the car 100 kilometers and rates the car as perfect, 10 to 10 stars. That's just lazy journalism.

Purosangue is puro-pure sangue-blood, so it means pure blood, not an actual translation of “thorough” and “bred”. However Italians do indeed call a Thoroughbred Horse a Cavallo Purosangue, but it’s kinda a slang translation rather than a word for word translation

Would’ve liked more on the back seats/doors… strange that all the early reviews largely ignore the very part of this vehicle that is new to ferrrari
Probably because they don't work properly yet😂😂😂
I thought they may be coming out with a v8 or a v6 hybrid version sometime in the future? Anyone can confirm whether this is happening or not?
Quick note, Purosangue is translated as thoroughbred, however, the literal meaning is "pure blood", puro - pure , sangue - blood. 😊
My singular hope is that this car helps reduce the price of the GTC4Lusso 12cylinder.
Henry is leaps and bounds above the rest when it comes to car reviews. I've watched a couple others earlier and if I had found Henrys first there would have been no need to look further. Ty, Henry and Hagerty.
this reminds me more of a crossover than an suv
5:42... The flashing on the casting seam of the intake runners looks awful! For the money the could have cleaned that up a bit.
Purosangue is puro-pure sangue-blood, so it means pure blood, not an actual translation of “thorough” and “bred”. However Italians do indeed call a Thoroughbred Horse a Cavallo Purosangue, but it’s kinda a slang translation rather than a word for word translation
Mazda really knocked this one out of the park
