The Ferrari Purosangue is a bold move for the brand - but is it a proper Ferrari in your eyes, or does it stray too far from tradition? Share your thoughts below - we’d love to hear what you think! 👇
Been in love with Vicki for 30 years ( that laugh/squeal she has ) But also respect her as a driver and journalist. Thank you Vicki we appreciate you. X
I remember watching VBH on the channel Dave , Top Gear GTI those that know well over 20 years ago now, and this women I swear looks exactly the same then than she does now
I love Ferraris, although I‘m not so fond of SUVs. Especially when it costs over 400 thousand. but I can see that it‘s not what people demand nowadays. However, the fact that it‘s got a screaming V12 under the bonnet makes up for it!! good reviews, Vicki, keep it up👍
As a Ferrari collector and owner of a Purosangue, I’ll say it’s a fantastic vehicle. Much more luxurious than my Urus or G63. I only wish they were allowed to unleash the sound more without being arrested. Someone else here suggested that it’s like an 812. As an owner of an 812 GTS I beg to differ. The 812 while being an everyday GT car, is more aggressive. The Purosangue rides more a Cullinan in its sportiest setting.
@ During winter months where driving in snow is important, I’d choose my Escalade V or Defender 110 both with Nokian snow tires. The G63 in winter is also pretty good. The rest of the year, the Urus or Escalade V are probably my favorites. The Purosangue is used occasionally. Not because it isn’t enjoyable, but I honestly have more cars than I have time to drive them. I enjoy the 812 GTS and sound from the Novitec exhaust on warm sunny days. The SF90 spider, 296 GTS, 308 GTS, F8 and Portofino M are also excellent in different ways.
Ferrari has been making 2-door wagon, shooting brakes for while. Nice to see them finally put 4-doors on even if they still want to dodge the SUV tag. Thanks for the review!
The depreciation of this model is going to be astronomical. But...can you imagine being a 15-year-old boy and getting dropped off at school in this vehicle.
@@ultimatecompilations6070 This assumes the car continues to live up to expectations. The rich are a fickle lot. If they get bored, or something new comes along, and start selling off, people on the wait list might also give up on it, in favor of used models or something else entirely. It's too early to tell, but it could go either way in the price class it's in.
Hi just like you with beautiful looks and it nice to see you are back doing what you know best and I hope you keep up the amazing work you do and happy new year 🥳
1:47 Folding rear seats, contrary to the presentation, was not first launched on the Purosangue. Both the FF and GTC4 Lusso had it. The Purosangue massively more popular as it has sold about three times as many in it's first full year as the FF or GTC4 Lusso ever sold.
Fabulous car of course, loved the individual rear seating arrangement and entry, something AM DBX could have made available. Comparing both vehicles and the price point you be mad not to purchase a DBX 707 with plenty of cash to spare…..
This is an 812 with 4WD that won’t try and kill you in the damp. As soon as realised this it became an actual lottery win purchase option, before that it didn’t make sense. 😂
just in time... I have been looking for a new car that will get me to Costco and back as fast as humanly possible. although I'll probably want a black one? :)
The Ferrari is a bit of a contradiction. It isn’t a high performance 4x4 like the Bentley which she mentions or the Aston Martin DBX which she doesn’t, but both of which have off-road abilities. Rather, it’s a sports car which comes packaged as such to pander to the SUV car market.
As all these cars were sold out before launch anyone who can afford one will have to wait until they come onto the used car market and then probably pay a premium for the privilege
Nice. But you would be better buying something like a Dacia duster or a Volvo estate for the practical and an old MR2 or gt86 for your treat. Aye no as fancy but does most of what this expensive cake does.
😂😂 It appears that you engaged the gear shift three times at a low speed. Is this the intended method of operation for the vehicle? Nevertheless, the car appears to be quite impressive.
In Canada these cars are ultra-expensive and hardly depreciate, sitting in garages most of their lives due to the winter we get here. So only the ultra-rich can afford them. Brits and Europeans are very very lucky. Given the number of exotic car videos I see and used supercar prices, it looks like most people over there can one day aspire to buy a recent model Ferrari or other exotic supercar. My Brit friend who now lives here now strongly disagrees and says it's an illusion. Accordingly to him, just because the British Pound is stronger than the Canadian Dollar doesn't mean these cars are accessible to the average Brit. Not sure I believe him.
Thumbs up for Vicki, not so much for the Purosangue. I much prefer the GTC4 Lusso even if I can’t afford either at the moment. Uber-expensive cars festooned with touch capacitive buttons and screens for the smallest tasks just don’t do it for me any more.
Well, nice review, but crossovers are not practical; estates and hatchbacks are...and also, there's nothing practical in a 400k price and repairs that will cost as much as a new car and they WILL come quick, this being a Ferrari😂
I think great car but way over priced and I can see resale value dropping like a stone in a few years. I'd go for the lamborghini urus more practical and cheaper with 99% of the performance. How about a test with a sq8 vs urus vs the ferrari. Real world not track bias. That would be good.
A beautiful dinosaur to love and cherish but you'd still want one to use use frequently. Will they use it as a inspiration to translate into a different beast for the future?
I cannot stand anything about this. It's an SUV, which I despise and it looks absolutely awful in my opinion, the price is absolutely ridiculous, etc. No Ferrari has done anything for me for many years now and this is by far the worst. Plus I don't care for the company either (they're so up their own arses, as if they exist in a vacuum).
@@kyleholloway3470 Yes, of course, when you win the lottery of life as most of us Ferrari collectors have, you’ll invest in a cross section of the finest Hyundai’s ever made. Makes perfect sense. Like many Ferrari’s, the limited Hyundai’s are known to wildly appreciate. Plus, this will put you in exclusive company…by yourself. Maybe bet big on bitcoin and you’ll get there soon🤡

Not an SUV?
If my grandma had wheels she would have been a bike
Been in love with Vicki for 30 years ( that laugh/squeal she has ) But also respect her as a driver and journalist. Thank you Vicki we appreciate you. X
Agree, agree, agree. Since Topgear I do like the spontaneously actions of Vicki - hope she going on a very longtime 😎
🙋🏼♂️ Vicki could review a Trabant I would tune in.
Are you in love love?
Vicki's reviews are awesome. If I could afford one, I'd buy one, what an awesome name too, "Purosangue ".
I remember watching VBH on the channel Dave , Top Gear GTI those that know well over 20 years ago now, and this women I swear looks exactly the same then than she does now
Sexier ❤❤❤

Thanks for your feedback, that V12 is a beautiful sight! Adam @DriverReviews
not suv the fuv Ferrari utility veicle
Support Vicki ~❤~❤~❤
More Vickie.
She is a superstar in a supercar! 😘
VBH is the ultimate pro!! And even after all these years still looks stunning 😍 this "new" jacked up fezza looks odd to me but I'm happy it exists
Vick always elegant 😍😍❤❤❤

If you had to choose one car out of your collection pls, which would it be? The Urus, G63, 812, or Purosangue for daily driving?
Lovely collection (and I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg)!
Thanks for the real world daily use perspective 😊

Love the Purosangue!!
Love our Victoria. ❤🎉
Love your obvious enthusiasm doing the review.

Vicki, yet another great review! Thanks!
With this Ferrari you buy V12 engine and get whole car with it 🤣🤣🤩
This is proper supercar of SUVs, SUV done Ferrari way ❤❤
Great video Vicky
Excellent review Very interesting
The seats in my FF folded down - did several tip runs and chucked the bike in the back a few times
The picture quality of this video is top notch !
I really like it, partly because of how silly it is, but mostly because of that V12 and that sound!!!
🤤😁
Looks the business in blue!
Fifth Gear vibe of old.. Vicki & Tiff love it ❤❤❤❤❤
I wouldn’t want it as my only Ferrari, but as an additional one? Absolutely!
The depreciation of this model is going to be astronomical. But...can you imagine being a 15-year-old boy and getting dropped off at school in this vehicle.
In Canada, there is hardly any depreciation on any Ferrari.
Why ? With that beautiful V12 one of the last maybe it will be coveted for sure.
No chance it will dip in value…. It has a 2 year wait list and the new versions have been increased in base price by £50k

Any depreciation ,
Hi just like you with beautiful looks and it nice to see you are back doing what you know best and I hope you keep up the amazing work you do and happy new year 🥳
Thnx vicki, again a superb review! If I only had the money…. (but as a driver of the Zeekr 001 Privilege I can’t complain…😎). Love your video’s ❤️
Hill Decent Control first came in the Landrover Freelander around 1998. So a little under 20 years ago by my reckoning.

Beautiful looking car from any angle, inside very welcoming!! And that engine 😍, like your new house 😊
This is just an SUV.
@ No it’s a V12 very expensive Ferrari, a completely different ball game.
@ Nope, still just an SUV and doesn't look good.
Thank you very much!😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve missed Vicki . ❤

Great review and stunning car and by the way Vicki your still looking rather stunning yourself ❤
Great video presented very nicely by my favorite 5th gear member Vicki!
Any other manufacturer makes an SUV like that, and they would get slated! Ferrari do it and it’s fabulous! Quite right too😂
Well nice Ferrari thanks for review Vicky class😊
We're glad you enjoyed the video! We also have reviews of the 296 GTB and the Roma if you wanted to see more Ferrari content from us.
💓💓💓💓💓💓 great presentation as always and a very grand set of wheels 🛞……Alex🇬🇷
I have sat in one, the scale and proportions make you feel like you're driving a tennis shoe. You want one!
Great to show off down at the lodge.
Beautiful car
My dream car - beautiful 😍
With this car and VBH my life would be complete. 🤭🤓
VBH sending it…👍👍👍
Game over 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What a beautiful sight to behold! The car looks good too.... Great review of a very interesting car.
Ancora faccio un po' fatica a farmi appassionare dai SUV ma se proprio dovessi (= potessi) sceglierne uno, la Purosangue prima tra tutti 😘
Best looking ferrari imo ❤
Dude...
This is an 812 with 4WD that won’t try and kill you in the damp. As soon as realised this it became an actual lottery win purchase option, before that it didn’t make sense. 😂
A great car from Ferrari - but I think the FF and the GTC4 Lusso do still look more elegant.
just in time... I have been looking for a new car that will get me to Costco and back as fast as humanly possible. although I'll probably want a black one? :)
I like the rear of the car the most
Fantastic
No rear wiper?? Thats a deal breaker.
Would any of you buy the Purosangue over the Roma Spider?
Makes me miss the 928
Nice Mazda 😊
it looks nothing like a Mazda, but like a Toyota Crown Sport.
A Mazda you’ll never be able to afford😂

Hi Vicki remember me? 😁
Nice. But you would be better buying something like a Dacia duster or a Volvo estate for the practical and an old MR2 or gt86 for your treat. Aye no as fancy but does most of what this expensive cake does.
The big disadvantage of the Ferrari Purosangue is that the back seat is worse than on the GTC4Lousso
Love Vicki
😂😂 It appears that you engaged the gear shift three times at a low speed. Is this the intended method of operation for the vehicle? Nevertheless, the car appears to be quite impressive.
lol, is Vicki to scale in this? as it looks huuuuge
The only thing there that is Ferrari to me, is the badge and the colour.

As if costing less would make anyone but the ultra-rich able to afford them.
If you pay 330k for this, well!! But it is a sports car

5:06 OMG it’s got air brakes 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like, we really needed a Ferrari SUV. WRETCHED EXCESS for those with more money than brains.
Nice car and all that but why would you want all gadgets four unless you live in car
It looks better with the Novatech Springs and Novatech F1 exhaust system on it sounds absolutely awesome with the Tech wheels as well
Makes me feel like a teenage boy again, listening to her 😃 oh the Ferrari interesting too.
Yeah, not bad. I use it as a second car.
Get one Vicki! Suits you! Love these cars, all a bit daft in reality but what a show stopper!
It’s not the first Ferrari with folding rear seats. Maybe first with electric ones?
Would not like to change the spark plugs on this car.
Well, nice review, but crossovers are not practical; estates and hatchbacks are...and also, there's nothing practical in a 400k price and repairs that will cost as much as a new car and they WILL come quick, this being a Ferrari😂
There's only one real "supercar blondie" - VBH.
The "Old Man" would be spinning in his grave. Ferrari should not be making SUVs. This is what happens when you have to appease shareholders.
If I would by a Ferrari ( and if i could) rhis will be the one
Why? This is just an SUV.
No ciggy ashtray? Not for me thanks
My Yaris has more interior space😂
I think great car but way over priced and I can see resale value dropping like a stone in a few years.
I'd go for the lamborghini urus more practical and cheaper with 99% of the performance.
How about a test with a sq8 vs urus vs the ferrari.

That would be good.
Is it a cloned USA Camaro? Or is a Camaro best?
No interest in these daft cars made for the elite
A beautiful dinosaur to love and cherish but you'd still want one to use use frequently. Will they use it as a inspiration to translate into a different beast for the future?
Fiat when?
SUV from Ferrari.. I guess everybody has their price...
Please remove the very irritating music throughout !
whats the point of reviewing cars none of us mere mortals can afford?
So that or a house
It is a very expensive Fiat
Looks like a Mazda CX30
400 grand 😂

Stolen disign from mazda😂
Hopefully you dont sit on this car as well while talking
It’s still a pointless suv whatever Ferrari want to call it.
