I'm enough of a folklore, mythology and fairy tale fan that I can even see brand new additional scenes for Shrek such as Fiona and Shrek meeting Vaprak and the Greek Ogress Lamia together while Donkey meets Akerbeltz in the mountains. That way the story could stay royal but still respect the loyalty these main characters already show each other.

If Kitty Softpaws and Perrito (especially Perrito) isn't in it after they teased Puss, Kitty, and Perrito of going to Far Far Away at the end of Puss In Boots 2 then I don't think it'd be all that good and I may or may not watch it because you don't tease something like that and not put it in Shrek 5. Or they would have to figure something out for Puss In Boots 3 that would include some Shrek in it somehow or something. Honestly, I just want to see Perrito on screen again LOL.
