To be honest, when I was in high school, something happened to my mom that shattered me. I gained anxiety attacks, loss of trust in people, hallucinations, loss of interests, loss of sleep, and needed therapy. The only comfort I had was my dog. He was the only one that was there when dad was out. It was a hard moment for me and my dad. To this day, it’s still in my memories, a dark, scarred memory.

I'm diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. It's so hard dealing with all these attacks. The longest one was like an hour and I thought I was going to die. I relate to you. This scene specifically made me burst into tears. I've watched shrek movies throughout my childhood and seeing the most bravest character go through something similar broke me. The scene really captured what if feels to be in that moment. The heart racing, the uncontrollably heavy breathing, the muffled voices, sometimes the ringing and the fear. When going through an attack all I can remember is this intense feeling of fear where you think you're really going to die and no one's going to help you. Half of your body also becomes paralysed sometimes. Idk how to differentiate an anxiety and panic attack because I heard they are different but I had episodes where it's just so sudden and randomly happening and then there are these attacks where there's triggers. Coming back to the movie. I really appreciate the whole team behind it. They did such a good job. I love how they thought of an antagonist who is a force of nature and cannot be defeated. Death is so good to look at. His character design and his personality. Everything about him is so well done ans so well thought of. He's so terrifying. His whistles also gives me that eerie vibe.

I am annoyed that my bf laughed coz it's not funny and idk why he laughed but maybe he just hasn't ever experienced it so doesn't know what it's like or how to react, idk, but the way it was portrayed with puss was so realistic, I appreciate the work put into this movie and I love it

Honestly can say I've never seen a final fight more meaningful in a kids movie. Puss engaging Death knowing it's impossible to win but fighting back anyway is a really compelling message to send, particularly with those suffering from severe mental health issues.
The culmination of coming to terms with it and accepting its inevitability was the perfect way to end.

    Top 3 (In my opinion):
    1. Meditations on death
    2. The portrayal of anxiety
    3. What did Kitty smell?
Some of these things shows that this movie was more made for adults instead of kids. It's crazy to think they made fairy tale characters more mature. These were made for people to learn when they were older but not for kids.

After my mom was taken away from me and Dad, we both suffered from traumatic stress, teary nightmares, hallucinations, anxiety attacks, unable to sleep, losing trust, building our mental defenses, waking up early in the morning or never sleeping, becoming apathetic, and eventually seeking therapy. It helped us cope with our pain and anxiety.

It is a terrifying thought when you’re young. The idea that your mind, body, and soul will one day cease into unending darkness. One day we will pass on leaving our unfinished dreams, deepest regrets, and the things we love behind. Everything you had done will be a distant insignificant piece of the universe. That is simply reality.
But, as you grow older, you begin to care less. You achieve more and more each year, reaching new heights, discovering new places that you never thought possible. You feel accomplished, that you have done your part for both yourself and others. You will be remembered by those you love and remind everyone of your story with what you leave behind.
For those who are wasting away, I encourage you too immerse yourself in every aspect of the world as you will one day be gone. Whatever goals and aspirations you have, fulfill them, do not postpone. Live life to its fullest.

1:51 not an adult joke, but I love how the doctor has a candle for lighting in his forehead.
This is a modern tool used by physicians today that uses electricity. Since they wanted to use an stereotypical image of a doctor, but without electricity, they used this fictional apparatus, a mixture of modern times with medieval times (like the Shrek Franchise).
Using technology, like when they sprayed pepper in Shrek 2 with a pepper mill, instead of pepper spray.

I would say the plot of Puss in Boots is more similar to Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Captain Jack Sparrow is a legend who hears a conversation about the fountain of youth. Several different parties are after it (Blackbeard, Spaniards, British, etc). Jack ultimately has the chance to drink it but gives it up.
Puss in Boots overhears about the last wish. Several different parties are involved (Puss, kitty, Goldilocks and the bears, Jack). Puss has a chance to make the wish but decides against it.

I didn't watch much movies in 2022, Puss in boots the last wish is the only one movie I watched (I forgot that I watched Turning red and Hotel Transylvania 4😅). Everything in the movie is just great: graphical animation, music, concepts of characters, characters' backstories, wholesome moments, action scenes, lessons. Every single of them are perfect, I can't use any florid words to describe how amazing the movie is like films reviewers but in short and straight up this is one of the most fantastic movies I've ever watched. After watching the movie I realized that it's the first time I enjoy dark side, it's not bad to me at all (things about Death wolf and something else). So to anybody hasn't watched the movie yet, watch it, it can make your day.

I found a musical tidbit in it randomly (spoiler warning)
So Death has his iconic whistle, but it does change a LITTLE at the end. Throughout the majority of the movie, his whistle is in a minor key, signifying his intimidating nature and, well, death in general is scary. In the end, when Death leaves Puss for the final time, his whistle changes to a major key, showing that Puss is no longer scared of Death, and that Death's job of intimidating Puss into not being too reckless has been completed.
I guess knowing a little bit of music theory pays off

I was a bit skeptical about the animation when I saw the first trailer. But I think it's one of those movies where the director really got to use that style animation to its fullest. In a movie like this the style really works. Puss getting launched off a Chelo and flying like a rocket toward a giant just wouldn't look right in the more "real" animation of the first movie. ...at least that's my thought.
