We bought the XC40 after trying the other two and are very happy with it. I agree with you it offers the best overall package.

Agreed. I've had 2 XC40s and I love them. Considering a Mazda CX5 or CX30 next just to save a few bucks, but I may just get another XC40

I have the 2024 xc40 b5 hybrid. Best car I've ever owned, by far. I've owned everything from Toyota, Honda, Kia. Mercedes, BMV. Volvo-and everything in-between. This is in fact, my second Volvo. The quality, comfort and tech in the XC40 far exceeds any other car that I've owned and far better than the many I test drove.

We bought a 2022 Lexus UX250h and it’s fantastic to drive! It’s a bit smaller but as empty nesters it’s just perfect! Excellent fuel economy at 5.7L / 100 km and I’ve had 5.2 often!

I had a XC40 T5 R Design and I loved it, this week I traded it for a XC40 P8 Recharge Ultimate and it's really impressive. I think it's the best car I ever had!!! I'm loving it!!

Is that BMW immune from from easy mechanical faults as contained in previous modals?

You will be surprised that the reliability issues of European luxury brands are not as well known among the buying public. Most of the luxury brand buyer equate luxury badge to quality and reliability.

A tougher choice is the X1 versus the Venza Limited. The Venza comes with many standard features (heated seats and steering wheel, lumbar support, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, etc etc) that the X1 acquires only as options. The Venza is almost the same size, and arguably has better camera assist in tight quarters. It also is a hybrid, uses regular gas, and has a simpler touch screen system. It is more reliable, less expensive to maintain. And no stop/start or turbo hiccups. And about $5K US cheaper than the comparable X1.
The advantages of the X1? Easier to get in and out of, a bit nimbler to maneuver, a bit quicker on the highway, and a bit quieter. A $5K advantage??

Checked all of these cars including the Lexus UX250h (too small - backseat useless, run flat tires no spare) and I went with the 2024 Audi Q3. Loving it... And it runs on regular fuel! Best interior, best pricing!

I trust your reviews . Theres a new volvo ex30, i love the size but not sure how that small suv will be regarding reliable. Also are electric cars really safe. After hearing about the ship that caught fire because of àn electric car. Thank you. 🚗🚙🚘

      @carhelpcorner  11 месяцев назад +1

Thank you! It is hard to predict the reliability of the EX30, but based on past performance, Volvo's are usually average at best. I have a great video coming on EVs addressing all of this. Stay tuned 👍

I've had 2 vehicles since 2000. Both the type to retain value. Both got rear-ended, which destroyed the value. I will no longer consider retained value. There is no guarantee that your vehicle will retain value.

If I was to lease one of these, it would be the VOLVO. BUT...
At these prices the UX Hybrid, or NX Hybrid are far superior.

I would never own an Audi, again. Not only mechanical problems but service dealers aren't up to premium brand. I would cross shop the Venza or UX.

  • @billyrock8305

Both offer terrible value for the money. Overpriced, high depreciation, high auto theft rate, low CR scores and expensive service costs. 👎🏼
Never finance or lease an automobile. It means you can’t afford it. Buy used. With an average car payment an insane $750/mth., that amount invested wisely is over $2,000,000 in 30 years.

Go start your own channel. Generally speaking, the Japanese cars are better in terms of reliability and more. BUT, I hated my Lexus NX 350 F Sport. I bought it on impulse (first time in my life I did that) It was too small, too noisy, too slow and not that much fun to drive. I had a Q3 for a short loaner and it was kind of fun. I am not a big enough jerk to drive a BMW and I tested the Volvo XC60. Very expensive for what I wanted. Long and short of it is I would not be against a Volvo per se and might give it a test next time; especially if I consider an EV. I hate Elon so I would not likely get a Tesla. I wound up with a new SQ5. Lot of fun to drive.
