We're heading to South America with our brand new 2023 Jumper / Relay, and obviously we're worried that DPF will clog. We were hoping to find a diagnostic tool like Launch Euro Tab III, but we wanted with which we can force regenerate the DPF. Not sure if the Launch Euro Tab III can do this?
Hi there! Is there a way to force a regen on these vans? Thank you, that’s a really informative video and will probably be useful for our recently purchased 2017 Boxer. New DPF last year, so hopefully we’ll have no issues for a while!
Depends on the vehicle. The Relay & Ford Transit are the more difficult vehicles to clear soot so half bottle to soak and other half while idling. they use a lower grade Cordierite particle filter that gets damaged easier than Silicon Carbide Filters
I did same like you in the video , my pfd pressure is 6 on idle and 40/50 on 3500 revs . Rate of clogging 0.25 and total weight of additive deposited is 83.55 . I went for a drive and after did a regeneration , smoked like 3-4 min then no smoke for about 9-10 min , and finally my icarsoft cr max told me that take to much time and fails, do you have any idea why ? Boxer 2.0 from 2017 . Thanks
@@ORileysAutos yes I did , replaced the dfp filter in the icarsoft and it did a regeneration about 15 min and I had a message “ time to long . Stop procedure “ …. That means the filter didn’t clean ?
@@ORileysAutos the temp was 85 on thermostat. If is not ok something this icarsoft doesn’t start regenerating the dpf . I will take it down and put some cleaner and leave it overnight….. and retest after
I've got a quick question for should the dpf symbol illuminate on the dash when you turn ignition on or is it normal for it not to come on on a Citroen relay 2.2 2016

You can force a regeneration with a good obd2 unit . I got a iCarsoft cr max and I can do it .

Is the prescribed directions to use a full bottle of concentrate per service?
I ask because earlier videos were 1 applicator full vs 2 fillings?

My Peugeot 407 no longer has a DPF it has been indefinitely “cleaned” 😂
