- Hey guy's in todays video I decided to do a part 2 to 1000 crickets vs 10 bearded dragon expect I decided to step it up and do 2000 crickets vs my bearded dragons. Now Bearded dragon tend to eat alot but these videos are to see how they'll react to them all I don't expect them to eat it all.

Crickets are actually omnivores, they'll eat a weak lizard if there's enough hungry crickets, careful
Elion doesn't leave them in there for long and he supervisors too. He took the 2 out that needed to come cause they were scared. When Elion thought they were finished, he took them out straight away. This guy looks after his animals and helps look after another YT channel's breeding facility of BPs

I heard from another bearded dragin owner, that she doesn't give her bearded dragon that many crickets, even though her bearded likes the taste, because they bite her beardie sometimes. But she buys pretty big crickets from a foreign country, so im sure these crickets don't do much harm.
Mhm, check out Exotic Lair’s video on a wild lizard that wandered into his cricket bucket to eat, they ate that lizard to the bone. Eyes and all.
Hes there the entire time watching to make sure his pets are safe. I personally wouldn't do this but some of them seemed to enjoy it, and the ones that were overwhelmed were taken out right away.

Today I went to my local pet store and I asked for 2 dozen pinhead crickets ( for my fire belly toads) and the dude gave me like 50 😂

OMG! That was epic! All of those crickets were freaky though. I liked the way that you recognized that your baby girls were scared. So perceptive of your pets. Very fun to watch the hungry ones eat so much lol.
I had bearded dragons and could tell instantly 2 them was stressed they started jumping and glass surfing to get out they either do that when stressed or scared or when they had poo and don't want be near the smell lol
It's easy to know when ones stressed because their jumping on the glass and trying to get away. It's even easier to know that putting them with that many crickets is dangerous.

@@malalaika The size of the container doesnt matter, he even out the animals in a dangerous situation in this video, adding more crickets would be animal endangerment. I saw just 30 crickets take out a house lizzard in about half an hour in that size container.
@@malalaika Unless hes actually doing to get a mile long container then dont jokingly say that because its just dumb. If theres food crickets will swarm, so if a dragon is injured all the crickets will follow the food smell, even in a mile long container

Poor crickets trying to climb the wall and escape from the cage. In nature, bearded dragons will hunt for individual crickets. Also, too many crickets can bite or kill lizards, it is a dangerous situation. Not funny.

I let 50 crickets in my room imagine 2000😣
I also learned that my girls love to dig. I put a large plastic tub in their cage when Ziggy needed a place to lay her eggs, which she did. Left the box in their enclosure because they love to sit in there and dig around. I have a basking light over half of the box. I think the box is maybe 18 by 10 by 9 inches deep. I have about 7 inches deep of a mixture of play sand a reptile soil. The reptile soil is the kind that it made with coconut fiber that comes in blocks that you hydrate with water. Marigold loves to lay in the box and bask because it is soft. So far they have not been pooping in their said box. I used about a 50/50 mix of the sand and reptile soil. They really love it. Don’t want the whole tank with the soil and sand as it would be hard to clean. I pick up their poop on the cage floor daily with a paper towel then spray the area with a half and half vinegar and water in a spray bottle to kill the Oder where they poop and wipe the wet area with another towel. Just sharing how I do things. Label any vinegar water so you do not accidentally spray your dragons as it is not toxic but could burn their eyes.

I have a leopard gecko and I can barely handle 30-40crickets at a time. I had too much anxiety watching those crickets escape😫😅 also maybe the reason your 2 bearded dragons freaked out was maybe because the crickets started to bite them? I once fed my gecko 40 crickets at one time and they started to swarm on her and bite her tail & she wanted out. I wonder if the shops starved them?🤔 I now release around 10-15 FED crickets to her & looks to be working. You take good care of your lizards, keep it up!!🤗😁👌
That's exactly what happened. Crickets are mean. They can even gouge out a beardies eye. Dubia roaches are much better, and they don't carry parasites like crickets do.
