- So in today's video I decided to share with you how to give a bearded dragon a bath. This is a question I get a lot so I put together this video in hopes to share with you tips on how to properly give a bearded dragon a bath.

yeah, glass surfacing. i always get upset when my mom put her beardie in the mirror. she thinks its cute but hes scared.
Wilbur is adorable! One of my dragons HATES water and I do allow her a way to go in and out, temp is good, she's just not much of a water dog. Lol she blackbeards every time and stops as soon as I get her out. The other one likes to actually get deep enough to swim. I love how they all have individual personalities!

You should get one! The kid bearded dragons are about $40-$50, adults are usually more. I think getting a baby is better as they’ll trust you more and you’ll have them for longer as their babies. You’ll only need a terrarium, flooring/substrate, decor, and a heat lamp and uvb lamp, and of course their food. Babies eat mostly bugs and adults eat mostly fruits and veggies

Well I have really thick skin so I never bleed but it is kind of annoying how many time he tries to rip my fingers off

I use that dragon soap too, works great. I’ve gotten other supplies and medications from that company too which have worked perfectly and saved me some money. Still loving the consistency man! 👍😁

My babies love bath time. They go in a normal size bath and love swimming around in there. I always put like a rock in there so they can get in and out if they want

I bathe my 5 lizards 1x a week. I also do a through clean of their aquarium 1x a week and clean them and their aquariums daily as needed. While I would love to bathe my lizards more then 1x a week, I never did because I felt like it takes time to dry out. And with my uromastyx's my fear was rotting out their tails with too much water. But, now after seeing this, I may do baths 2x a week.
great info..after they make mess in cage and under the belly.i bath my .blue tongue. shingleback. beardy.no chemicals. I warm them first .bath. then. towel down then put out into sun.with shade. Keith Australia

I may have missed this but are you dechlorinating the water prior to him entering the bath? I have a high chlorine level so I always treat the water before so when they drink they don't get all those heavy metals fluoride and chlorine

What morph is Wilbur? I think he is gorgeous. I love how just his head has the yellow. I'm sure not all dragons that have his morph have this but still he's adorable.

@@geraldinefreeman1334 get your beardie a water fountain. The sound of running water will stimulate it to drink on its own. For now, I suggest using a hard plastic dropper to give it water through.

Yeah, my beardie drinks his bath water too lol. Sometimes he poops in his bath though, if he does I take him out so he doesn’t drink the water. He always has a bowl of water on the cool side of his tank to prevent it from evaporating too.
