Daniel always has a really great way of interpreting the message in the film he's watching. Loved his take on the 'unspoken things' in this, and loved his take on the message about 'trust' in Rogue One.
"He might've been your father, but he was never your daddy" -Yondu Anyone who is adopted/has daddy issues/has a heart got hit right in the feels.. Beautiful
well, I didn't feel anything because it wasn't set up really well. Quill didn't share that much screen time with Yondu to establish that they had a father-son relationship, so it felt forced and unearned to me when they showed that short montage.
+RF-D2 I have to agree at least partially. The only relationship they had in the last movie was a conflicting one. Now, suddenly the "I'm going to eat you" bit becomes a joke when it never seemed like one in the last movie.
*SPOILERS* My top 3 favourite parts of the movie : 1.The opening Groot dance (while the others are busy fighting the battery stealing Alien) 2.Yondu and Rocket's escape from the prision (Yondu's arrow is just too cool) 3.The farewell given to Yondu at the end (Father and Son song playing in background) Addons : Drax was surprisingly hilarious.. Infact all of them had great dialogues.. and finally the songs selection.. Just Perfect
'' he may be your father, but he ain't your daddy'' That scene made me respect Yondu alot. It perfectly carried out the emotion of losing a loved one. It made me cry, Yondu really is the hidden gem that brought a lot of feelings in this movie
PantherKing 13 yeah I was getting choked up and almost teary-eyed when he died and during the funeral. I laughed out loud in the theater during the Mary Poppins joke, and it wasn't really bad because everyone else in the theater was laughing too.😄👉😰😂
man i can count with the fingers of my hands the times i have cried in a movie but the scene of funeral is just soo emotional, im a sucker for viking funerals but kraglin bursting in tear of sadness/joy because at the end he recieve the ravager funeral by his pals made me cry, 2 times i have watched the movie, 2 times i have cried.
So I don't get the Zune thing....cause like shouldn't there be some kind of space company technology equivalent to an mp3 player that Peter should already know about, having lived in space for some 30yrs. I thought the walkmen was more of an emotional connection that he kept to remind him of his mom. Just think he shouldn't have been so impressed by the Zune cause there has to be some space company out their developing music playing devices, or is the entire galaxy relying on earth for music production, distribution and devices?
FINALLY!!! A POPULAR RUclips CHANNEL REVIEW THAT GETS HOW REALLY SOLID GOTG VOL.2 IS!! HISHE dont jump the shark of "it is not better than the first film cause it doesnt have the suprise factor blahabalahabalabaabh." And thanks to this review I realized how deep the message of this film is compared to other Scifi blockbuster that just had confusing explosions and cheap stakes....
Thank you for calling out that Mantis and Drax scene. For as silly of a movie as this is and for how funny I found it, both times I saw it I got a little teary-eyed seeing Mantis feel the weight of his sadness.
And they didn't have to pay for it, and it isn't product placement cause the product no longer exists. Honestly it seems a bit conceded for him to assume HISHE influenced the joke when really the joke is fairly obvious. Starlord has an outdated music playing device so when it finally breaks he updates to another slightly less but still terribly outdated music device. And the fact he's floored by it holding 300 songs is the punchline.
I think taser face was also a joke to how guardians of the galaxy should have ended, in the HISHE Drax asks batman why he is named batman he says to strike fear in the hearts of his enemies and taserface, when asked by rocket says the same thing.
+Avengers Ageofultron Loophole. Stan Lee, this mysterious person who has been in nearly all the Marvel movies, transcending both time and space, yet no one knows who this person is, but is always there in a heroes moment....

Batman: You recruited Yondu, who later helped the Guardians take down Ego. You also had your ships fire at Ego, which damaged him. You played a role in saving the entire Universe. Ayesha: Hmm. I suppose that’s true, isn’t it? I did help save the entire Universe, didn’t I? Anti Villainess. I rather like the sound of that. WHY IS THE UNIVERSE NOT THANKING ME!!? Batman: Uh…maybe if you go to the Super Cafe with me, the Universe will see you for the hero-uh-anti villainess that you are. Ayesha: I do not wish to abandon my batteries. Batman: Oh I already have a bunch of gadgets with force fields protecting all your batteries. I protect anything with the word “bat” in it. Ayesha:……..Will Superman be there? Batman: Pfft, Yeah. We go there often. Ayesha: You’re friends with Superman? Batman: No. He’s friends with Batman. Ayesha: You have a very high opinion of yourself…….I like it.
under_score Superman: Bruce, I'm not sure whether to be proud that that pick-up line finally worked for you, or disappointed that she was a villain. Batman: She prefers the term "Anti-Villainess." under_score , Kenneth Jones Superman: Also, since when have you gone to space? You always seemed super into Gotham. Batman: I'm expanding my horizons. (Glances around.) You wanna know why? Superman: Ohmygosh. You've already said your catchphrase like a million... Batman: It's because I'm Batman!!
Jawad Boujemaoui they wouldn't have to, because had they not taken the batteries ego likely wouldn't have found quill and ego wouldn't have been able to destroy everything
I definitely think that this film was better than the first. It's not easy to duplicate the lightning in a bottle that was the first installment, but I feel that Vol 2 was more well rounded than the first. We learned a lot more about each of the characters which is something that I feel is incredibly important in any film. Each character went though a ride of emotions throughout the film and gained new perspective by the end. The music integration again was incredibly well done and I have zero problems with that aspect. The visuals and CGI were out of this world and may just be in my top 10 from any film ever. The humor was my one and only issue as I do agree that there was a bit too much although I don't see it as too big of a problem because the jokes landed for me about 80 percent of the time. The villain in the first film was more menacing, but I feel that's the only thing that Ego lacked. Ego was given better motivations and a better backstory which linked into StarLords arc in a way that helped the viewers attach themselves to Ego and understand his purpose. Overall I feel that Vol 2 lived up to my expectations and am glad that James Gunn is returning to write and direct the next installment as I think that his originality and passion is desperately needed in today's world of hollow blockbusters.
meh wasn't a big fan ( i was an air conditioning), i mean first i felt not allot was happening where as in the first we were bombarded by new things this one was allot slower, and the jokes seemed to be just to frequent and forced,i also didn't like when they felt they needed to explain a joke, star lords dad went from good dad to i'm an ass whole pretty quick, he never really gave himself a chance, i just got bored, that might be because the first one was surprising and this one was just more of the same, i've personally never liked any of the marvel squeals and even a few of the first ones, i think this one continues that, and the problem is as i say they do more of the same, also origins are just more fun to watch, the movie overall wasn't terrible and i did laugh a few times but i got board and nothing was really new, i'm hoping that thor Ragnarok breaks the mould with a semi origin.
Ryze Enforcer I agree too. Many people have problems with sequals, "they're not as good as the first film" they all say but vol 2 brought so much more storyline and depth to the characters and overall was a massive hit to me and there may of been a lot of comedy but every film needs some of that. Espically marvel. You know, all serious like DC most if the time.
Yeah, I was just about to mention that. The thing is that it should have been pretty obvious at the time that Yondu is who he was talking about, but everyone else just kept asking, "Where's Quill", so it made you think along those lines.
I didn't really care when the weird blob was going around absorbing people in different planets, but when I saw that alien mother and her child about to be taken, I was like nooo!! Then I Started caring and wanted them to kill ego, man it really got me.
I really enjoyed it. This was Yondu's movie and also the most nerdiest in the MCU (awesome). I just wanted more with Peter and his father. I think the 3rd act is better than Vol. 1's , but I wish it was a little more emotional. I think it was a huge missed opportunity to not include Stallone and the original guardians a little bit more. I think if they saw what Yondu did instead of hearing it, it would've been more beautiful/heartbreaking
Alex Love I think the main reason to not include the original Guardians was to keep the film from feeling bloated with characters and character development. The plot and the pacing already suffer a bit due to this. Not that I mind that it does but with the original Guardians involved it may have been too much for the film's own good.
As someone who also grew up without a Dad like Peter, the whole "playing catch" part got me in the feels really bad. Only time a Marvel movie made me tear up, so, I give it points for that!
I think it's very possible that The Collector and The Grandmaster are celestials in the MCU. Considering that the Collector at least is after the Infinity Stones, it's possible.
I loved this movie, so very much. From the instant they dropped ELO's "Mr Blue" in the opening sequence, I was hooked. I'm over 50, and all the music in the Guardian's universe is MY music. I think it's wonderful to hear it in something as massively popular as Guardians is, giving a much younger generation a chance to identify with it and make it their own. I am not ready to see Groot become a teenager in Guardians 3. I think that's partially paternal (it's really difficult to know something as adorable as Groot is now will be totally not adorable come the next edition... but that's life)
hey hishe I have an idea for your GOTG vol 2 hishe you should make a scene where star Lord celebrates like Darth Vader but instead, star Lord says: "I HAVE DAD!" He will be like "HEY EVERYONE I HAVE A DAD!" pls add this to your hishe 😂😂
I felt the exact same way about the Drax/Mantis moment about his daughter. I thought it was a beautiful and really touching way to show what Drax feels.
Wait wait wait wait wait, just a second. "a 'HEZEE' review" Am I the only one that has been pronouncing HISHE as "He She" for the past 10 FREAKIN' years?!
I began imagining the HISHE as I walked out of the theater. Star-Lord and Rocket are arguing about how nobody can fit into the brain's protective shell, and Yondu overhears them. Then, he sends his arrow through the brain, they all leave, and Ego dies!
That's what I thought too! Replacing one outdated irrelevant piece of technology for another. I kind of would have liked to see him get a portable CD player though and have all his cd's constantly skip while he's fighting.
orangeapples The first thing that came to mind was a time stamp of where they might be at in the MCU timeline when that Zune came up. The joke was funny but if I believe Zunes were good back in 08-10. Seeing that it took Yondu and Rocket a day or two (ego time) to jump 50 some-times. I wonder how far from earth they are, personally; I wonder this. So when they catch up to the rest of the MCU towards Infinite Wars, who could really be a match for Thanos at that point. They destroyed a Celestial, and I am sure word will travel fast and depending where the next Vol goes, at some point he will make his way to Earth.
1Altkid They might not be very far away from Earth at all. I got the impression that Peter could go back to Earth whenever he feels like it, but chooses not to because that's where his mom died. Maybe now that he's come to terms with the deaths of both parents, he can make that leap back to mankind in Vol 3.
I love that movie. I'm marry Poppins y'all. ha.😃 I also liked when rocket said, "is there something wrong with you?" to Peter and he said, "of course there's something wrong with me that's my dad!"😂 also two Peters in marvel (Spiderman and starlord)
Yeah I watched the first one right before the second. And I picked that one going into the second. Part of me was surprised by his turn but the other one knew to take Yondu's word.
cuhleef thats what im afraid of too but they always knew what song to play at the right time especially father and son that was on the zune so i have faith in them
PLEASE!!!!! Do more HISHE Reviews!!! These reviews are the best on RUclips. On top of the great quality of the review, we also get the added comedy from HISHE, which just makes it so much better!
Oh the Adam Project is referring to Adam Warlock! He holds the Soul Stone which is the final Infinity Stone. It was actually Very Important quick scene :)!!! So now do you like that part also? lol
Here's an idea for the HISHE: Back in the past Ego and Star Lord's mom go to a Baskin Robbins and start planting the seed, suddenly a Baskin Robbins employee steps out and says "Hey Ego just because you're a celestial doesn't mean that you can just plant your evil seeds in our parking lot" Ego turns around "How do you know who I am?" the employee replies "Baskin Robbins always finds out".
I loved it way better than the first one I love Ego he was an exceptionally amazing villain and it makes it all the more special that Kurt Russel and Jeff Bridges are now in the MCU!!!! And also Did you know that Matthew McConaughey was supposed to play Ego!? I do love Mathew but Kurt is Ego he's. It just playing him KURT IS EGO!! I think Mathew would make a good Norman Osborn though!! And also If I were to make one teensy weeny itty bitty complaint it would be THERE WAS NO THANOS!!!
"After all these years I found you." "And who the hell are you?" "I figured my rugged good looks would make that obvious. My name is Ego, and I'm your dad, Peter."
Don't you remember Jeff Bridges was the first MCU villain He was Obadiah Stein in Iron Man 1 and yeah Ego was a truly great villain but I still have high hopes for Thanos in Infinity War
Peter's Pac-Man was sort of like Ghostbusters' Stay-Puff in reverse. Pac-Man could have been thinking Pac-Man was fairly indestructible off-the-cuff with no time to think.
I love this movie so much man! We both love a lot of these movies. I laugh at every funny moment in the movie. The Mary Poppins moment was also funny. I thought Kurt Russell as Ego was good but i didn't expect him to be the main antagonist instead of Ayesha and the Sovereign
Ego has got to be the best villain in the MCU next to Loki. His name pretty much screams his motivations throughout the whole movie and glad to know he'll be appearing in future films
Yondu: We both don't need to die Quill: You're right, we can both live Yondu: How Quill: I always keep extra masks that I can use to breath in space Yondu: So Quill: So I can give you the suit and I can use the mask Yondu: Well I was going to do this whole sacrifice thing but this sounds good HISHE FF
Yeah, I liked that character, but unfortunately a heroic death was about the only thing they could do with him. They painted themselves into a corner by making him way too powerful to ever become a permanent member of the team. He could easily make most of the Guardians' problems go away just by whistling for that arrow thingy.
I personally absolutely LOVED this film. Sure, it wasn’t as great or “fresh” as the original, but who expected it to be? In my opinion, this is the best 2nd movie out of the MCU besides Winter Soldier. This is in my top ten comic book films of all time, and in my top five MCU films ever. I loved it. I love these characters and they are my favorite Superhero team. My top five MCU films: 1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3. Captain America: Civil War 4. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 5. Spider-Man: Homecoming
Daniel always has a really great way of interpreting the message in the film he's watching. Loved his take on the 'unspoken things' in this, and loved his take on the message about 'trust' in Rogue One.
HoustonProductions1 wrong movie
He's name is Daniel?!!!!
"He might've been your father, but he was never your daddy" -Yondu
Anyone who is adopted/has daddy issues/has a heart got hit right in the feels.. Beautiful
So true! I was not ready for that, it really hit me more than most movie deaths cause I could easily identify with it
gives you the feels for sure.
well, I didn't feel anything because it wasn't set up really well. Quill didn't share that much screen time with Yondu to establish that they had a father-son relationship, so it felt forced and unearned to me when they showed that short montage.
RF-D2 but that scene was catchy, don't you think?
+RF-D2 I have to agree at least partially. The only relationship they had in the last movie was a conflicting one. Now, suddenly the "I'm going to eat you" bit becomes a joke when it never seemed like one in the last movie.
"Yes I too am incredibly humble"
The irony
"As humble as Drax" -- Ego The Living Planet
What a coincidence so am i
*SPOILERS*
My top 3 favourite parts of the movie :
1.The opening Groot dance (while the others are busy fighting the battery stealing Alien)
2.Yondu and Rocket's escape from the prision (Yondu's arrow is just too cool)
3.The farewell given to Yondu at the end (Father and Son song playing in background)
Addons : Drax was surprisingly hilarious.. Infact all of them had great dialogues.. and finally the songs selection.. Just Perfect
I agree with the scene about Mantis and Drax. I thought it was a beautiful way for us to see emotion from a character who we can't see emotion from.
'' he may be your father, but he ain't your daddy''
That scene made me respect Yondu alot. It perfectly carried out the emotion of losing a loved one. It made me cry, Yondu really is the hidden gem that brought a lot of feelings in this movie
Yondu's death and funeral almost made me cry. Seriously he was so freaking awesome in this movie. That Mary Poppins joke was GOLD
PantherKing 13 yeah I was getting choked up and almost teary-eyed when he died and during the funeral. I laughed out loud in the theater during the Mary Poppins joke, and it wasn't really bad because everyone else in the theater was laughing too.😄👉😰😂
Yeah, I don't cry easily but when they made that fireworks arrow and Kraglin started tearing up, so did I.
PantherKing 13 saw it twice and cried twice... beautiful moment..one of the best in the MCU
+PantherKing 13 did not cry but he made the entire movie better
man i can count with the fingers of my hands the times i have cried in a movie but the scene of funeral is just soo emotional, im a sucker for viking funerals but kraglin bursting in tear of sadness/joy because at the end he recieve the ravager funeral by his pals made me cry, 2 times i have watched the movie, 2 times i have cried.
That last summary about ego was dope. Well done there!
Gamora and Nebula both become besties when they find out both their moms names are martha
Liquidcadmus LMAO IT WOULD MAKE SENSE THOOOO
Liquidcadmus Martha!!!
Liquidcadmus. ik that's a really common plot point by this time just look at Batman and superman
Liquidcadmus it would make sense(I think they're sisters right?)
I don't think that the MCU would allow DCEU story lines.
You shouldn't have killed my mom and squished my Walkman!
Purple Sparkly Unicorn!!! Loll
Purple Sparkly Unicorn!!! the best line next to "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!"
Purple Sparkly Unicorn!!! best moment
So I don't get the Zune thing....cause like shouldn't there be some kind of space company technology equivalent to an mp3 player that Peter should already know about, having lived in space for some 30yrs.

FINALLY!!! A POPULAR RUclips CHANNEL REVIEW THAT GETS HOW REALLY SOLID GOTG VOL.2 IS!! francis santos it wasn't anything surprising, or new, or even the same, it was worser
@Kylo_Ren518 worser than someone using the word 'worser'?
+Kylo_ Ren518 if thats your viewing experience I cant argue with you but for me its really solid piece of entertainment......
@francis santos that is the thing. The movie was entertaining as all hell but it isn't really that good.
Thank you for calling out that Mantis and Drax scene. For as silly of a movie as this is and for how funny I found it, both times I saw it I got a little teary-eyed seeing Mantis feel the weight of his sadness.

that drop the ego message blew my mind
I should have seen that coming from a mile away, but didn't... Awesome
You forgot to mention David Hasselhoff =(
They haven't made Zunes in 10 years. They picked Zune because the joke is that he's still horribly out of date.
And they didn't have to pay for it, and it isn't product placement cause the product no longer exists.

I love that they confirmed Stan Lee as a Watcher Agent.
or somebody who travels through multiverse
Harold075 Why would the One Above All work for the Watchers? Also Uatu is owned by Fox :(
The Bandog the movie was out in other countries when that video came out
The Real Michael Garcia
Yeah but Cinema Sins (for the most part) are American
+Avengers Ageofultron
Loophole. Stan Lee, this mysterious person who has been in nearly all the Marvel movies, transcending both time and space, yet no one knows who this person is, but is always there in a heroes moment....
Loved this movie. Didnt think they could top the first one, but they did imo

they just be honest
You're god damn right
Agreed!
I love when you discuss the deeper meanings of the movies in your reviews. Usually, you open up a completely new perspective to me that I totally didn't see at all, which makes me appreciate the writing of the movies even more. Love your HISHE videos and love you movie reviews - keep up the great work!!
Never thought I'd care about a blue Mary Poppins with a fin, yet here we are.
Hands down the best reviews on RUclips
Rocket: "Hey does anybody have any tape? I wanna put some tape over the death button."
Star Lord: "I don't know, let me check."
"NEBULA! DO YOU HAVE ANY TAPE?"
"YONDU, DO YOU HAVE ANY TAPE?! NO?"
"GAMORA, DO YOU HAVE ANY TAPE?!"
"DRAX, DO YOU HAVE ANY TAPE? YEAH, SCOTCH TAPE WOULD WORK! *WHY DID YOU ASK ME THEN?!!!*"
Nate TSO NOT A SINGLE PERSON HAS TAPE!!!??
Yondu and Drax are the best parts of the movie
Who woulda thought the movie would be a (light) meditation on the meaning of fatherhood? Loved it. And while I'll miss Yondu I'm glad Marvel finally killed off a protagonist. Methinks they are prepping us emotionally for some inevitable deaths in Infinity War.
LoveStallion I agree, they tried to make Quicksilver an impactful deathbut he was soo inconsequential and had like 2 lines, have they even mentioned him since?
Meh. Semantics. As far as the audience is concerned Groot was still there.
Why are fucking nerds so obsessed with the death of characters? See a shrink.
AND LET'S NOT FORGE ABOUT TASERFACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

I also love the part wen hi screams "for the first time i'm truly not alone", or something like that.
"Almost every critic complains about Ego's motivations, despite the fact that HIS NAME IS EGO!!!!!!!!"
Yeah, it wasn't exactly subtle. Not sure how the critics missed that one.
TalixZen I actually thought they executed him as a villain very well, he wasn't like cliche, you know?
"Hi my name is Pointless, I'll be staring as the main conflict for the next hour."
If he's the main focus of the movie it'll still detract from the experience, self-aware name or not. (Still a really good movie though)
*Drax puts on space armor*
Drax: OUHW my nipples!
Lmao
Lmao
Ruben Tromp how exactly does that hurt him.... are they stuck in the cracks or something? he can get whipped around at Super Sonic speeds getting smacked around by trees and THAT doesn't hurt him. how?
I honestly thought he was going to die.
Crystal Thunderheart idk the suit presses against his nips
They're extremly sensitive so rubbing against them makes him feel super uncomfortable.

Batman: I’m……a vigilante with ambiguous morals. I’m an antihero. A vigilantihero if you will. I can make up words like that. Because I’m Batman. But I think you’re an anti villain.
Ayesha: Oh?
Batman: She prefers the term "Anti-Villainess."
Superman: Isn't that the same thing you said about Catwoma-
Batman: "What?! Who? I don't know who you're talking aboutneverheardofhershutupImbatman." *sips coffee awkwardly*
under_score ayesha: looking around with the ok look on her face.
Superman: (stares around for a bit) oka-
Batman: I'm Batman
under_score , Kenneth Jones
Superman: Also, since when have you gone to space? You always seemed super into Gotham.
Batman: I'm expanding my horizons. (Glances around.) You wanna know why?
Superman: Ohmygosh. You've already said your catchphrase like a million...
Batman: It's because I'm Batman!!
under_score TLDR
Better love story than twilight
It's hard to believe that if rocket didn't steal the batteries we wouldn't have Adam Warlock
BROZONE And they couldn't save the universe against Ego.
Jawad Boujemaoui they wouldn't have to, because had they not taken the batteries ego likely wouldn't have found quill and ego wouldn't have been able to destroy everything
BROZONE The butterfly effect :)
Tyler Brooke-Thomas true but in the movie ego said he found out about quill from what happened on xandar with the infinite stone
I like 'em evenly :D
Ryze Enforcer for some reason, this one just seemed a bit tired for me. i preferred the first.
meh wasn't a big fan ( i was an air conditioning), i mean first i felt not allot was happening where as in the first we were bombarded by new things this one was allot slower, and the jokes seemed to be just to frequent and forced,i also didn't like when they felt they needed to explain a joke, star lords dad went from good dad to i'm an ass whole pretty quick, he never really gave himself a chance, i just got bored, that might be because the first one was surprising and this one was just more of the same, i've personally never liked any of the marvel squeals and even a few of the first ones, i think this one continues that, and the problem is as i say they do more of the same, also origins are just more fun to watch, the movie overall wasn't terrible and i did laugh a few times but i got board and nothing was really new, i'm hoping that thor Ragnarok breaks the mould with a semi origin.
I actually kinda feel pity Ego has to die. Kurt Russell's performance doesn't disappoint.
(spoiler)
When rocket knocked gamora out and said I can only afford to lose one friend today,it really shocked me.
GeneralMcBoss it was emotional. drax shouting on the speaker and all that...
that was a deep tough moment. I was like. ooohhhhh.... dang.
It really shocked Gamora too
Yeah, I was just about to mention that. The thing is that it should have been pretty obvious at the time that Yondu is who he was talking about, but everyone else just kept asking, "Where's Quill", so it made you think along those lines.
I don't use just my brain for my arrow boyeeee!!!
Absolute Mayhem I use my heart !
Jawad Boujemaoui someone knows
Then quill starts beating Ego with the badass song playing👊👊👊FANTASTIC
Lol I like how he throws shade at the Transformers
I'M MARY POPPINS Y'ALL!!!!
"I'm Mary Poppins y'all!" - Yondu
Cool Maniac And I'm Tazerface
Cool Maniac you just copied the top comment
Matthew Smith 😂😂😂😂😂😂
+Aymanac 7
😠Don't laugh, its a scary name. The galaxy will tremble at the sound of "Tazerface".
Wow his Ego was so big that he needed a planet to fit it in
.....
Ba-dum tshh
Your impression of Nebula and Gamora's fight was the best thing ever..
My favorite part of the movie was when yondu killed everyone on the ship with his brand new awesome looking fin.
AJ Berns that was one of my favorite parts too! I really liked how he used the security cameras.
His brand new awesome looking fin was a call back to his original design in the comics. That was great.
That looked so nice in 3D
DGamer135
But it was new to the audience.
That whole shootout was the most badass part of the film
Drax The destroyer to me is one of the best characters
Baby Groot was so darn cute!
I know!!! I loved the dancing Groot scene! :D
Agreed
Jason Lopez uhhhh, YEAH!!!!!!
You're so boring.
Boring? I'm not boring!
*you are beautiful......from the Inside* that was the most hilarious in a Marvel movie
Great moment
I seriously wanted to kill Drax through whole movie for calling Mantis ugly ;(
she was so sweet and beautiful
though i admit it was funny xD
the best part was baby groot dancing in the beginning
TheFilmingED I'd love some MCU twist with the "original guardians" where they end up being rivals with the new ones
Alex Love yea
Alex Love Original guardians have been confirmed/said to have a bigger role in Guardians vol 3
Alex Love Did you like it better than the 1st one?
well one things clear... gamora can super jump...
Pavan Bhaskar and hold over a 3000 pound turret on her shoulder
Pavan Bhaskar I rewatched the first one and she super jumps there too so... yeah
Pavan Bhaskar Well, she is enhanced like Captain america, so yeah, she can super do anything a normal person can
As someone who also grew up without a Dad like Peter, the whole "playing catch" part got me in the feels really bad. Only time a Marvel movie made me tear up, so, I give it points for that!
i loved it i may have cryed a little when yondu died though
Great movie,, it did sort of set the stage for infinity wars. Now that the last celestial is dead, Thanos can now make his move.
What makes you think he was the last Celestial?
Don't believe they ever stated he was the last celestial.
Well, I guess more the last celestial that would get into Thanos way rather..considering we don't know any other celestials at this point.
Stan Lee as Uatu might be considered a Celestial.
I think it's very possible that The Collector and The Grandmaster are celestials in the MCU. Considering that the Collector at least is after the Infinity Stones, it's possible.
I'M MARY POPPINS Y'ALL!!!
Never have I heard an audience laugh so much to a movie 😂😂😂
I loved how they did the opening credits, with the focus on Baby Groot and the fight in the background.
There's only 3 words to describe this awesome movie;
I am Groot
No... Just remember "We are Groot"
SuperShah201 Why the hate? (yes i understand Groot language)
SuperShah201 more like
We are groot
SuperShah201 HAHAHA!!!
Y'all.
I think that's partially paternal (it's really difficult to know something as adorable as Groot is now will be totally not adorable come the next edition... but that's life)
"I'm Groot"
"I'm batman"
Donkey!
Whoops,wrong argument.
Usama Tariq im mary poppins yall
im Mary Poppins yo
Abhra Rohatgi read what u wrote mr perfect
I parry with my chin.
Wait! Not a good aauw...
Where it misses all vital organs?
no one can block a bicycle kick to the balls
Don't your balls count?
Batista had improved his acting verrry well I loved the emotional side to the movie
I agree i cried at that particular scene where he missed his wife and daughter
Drax: "You're beautiful Mantis....On the inside."
😂😂👌🏻👌🏻
This was a great movie!!!
hey hishe I have an idea for your GOTG vol 2 hishe
you should make a scene where star Lord celebrates like Darth Vader but instead, star Lord says: "I HAVE DAD!" He will be like "HEY EVERYONE I HAVE A DAD!" pls add this to your hishe 😂😂
Tim Pob They just did bruh
Don't read my profile picture nah they didn't. They just brought darth Vader himself in to do it
"He might have been you're father
But he was never your daddy"
Icrievrytim 😭
:'(
Dennis Hallam 1213 that part made me cry 😭
ClappyHands same especially with the funeral
true dat
OF COURSE I HAVE PROBLEMS!!
💀👈THAT'S MY FREAKING DAD!!!
"Of course I have ISSUES!" There's a whole line of comics.
Carlota Jimenez I died at that part
Carlota Jimenez no. Here is your dad.
👾 👾
👾💀👾
👾 👾
GOODBYE! (Run!)
I felt the exact same way about the Drax/Mantis moment about his daughter. I thought it was a beautiful and really touching way to show what Drax feels.
Wait... no thoughts about David Hasselhoff??? I am german and VERY disapointed!
Malachum93 Hail Hydra
+Malachum93 I'm German as well ... what does that have to do with hasselhoff though? Did I miss something?
Malachum93 He was just a funny cameo
Nabiya Ri Peter's dad while saying he tried to pick the best form to fit him (This is when he was getting mad) he transformed into David Hasselhoff.
Malachum93 who?
Wait wait wait wait wait, just a second.
"a 'HEZEE' review"
Am I the only one that has been pronouncing HISHE as "He She" for the past 10 FREAKIN' years?!
I pronounced it like "heesh" for the longest time until I heard Daniel pronounce it "Hiz-zee" Now I try to pronounce it more like he does.
vinícius bastos I pronounced it sort of like "high shh"
vinícius bastos I've said "hish" "E", and I will continue
ThatOtherGuy same lol
vinícius bastos I have been doing that too
I began imagining the HISHE as I walked out of the theater.
Star-Lord and Rocket are arguing about how nobody can fit into the brain's protective shell, and Yondu overhears them. Then, he sends his arrow through the brain, they all leave, and Ego dies!
does Star lord not realize that a bunch of his siblings had died? did he even realize he had siblings?
maybe some of his other siblings are still alive
MilesIsSquareEnixFan He never knew his half siblings. While he probably realizes this, he would be more focused on his own mom.
MilesIsSquareEnixFan sorry for being a big nub - who are his sibling
The bones in the cave. They were children of Ego from other species that didn't inherit his abilities.
That must've been a lot of sex.
I think the zune thing was a joke that Quill doesn't now what is going on on Earth and since he was left in the 80s the Zune is amazing.
I'm marry Poppins y'all. ha.😃 I also liked when rocket said, "is there something wrong with you?" to Peter and he said, "of course there's something wrong with me that's my dad!"😂
also two Peters in marvel (Spiderman and starlord)
fiona mccarthy lol
I saw 4 thugs beating up a kid
so I stepped in
I knew he couldn't take the 5 of us
Nathan Kowcun omfg
Emma xD
It's okay Emma I did too XD
Nathan Kowcun
Nathan Kowcun Wow RIP
they gave Easter egg of star lords father when yandu said 'he was jackass' I guess no one understood that in first movie.
Yeah I watched the first one right before the second. And I picked that one going into the second. Part of me was surprised by his turn but the other one knew to take Yondu's word.
I'm really afraid that he got a modern music player. It means they can use modern music.
The part of GOTG charm is its use of classic music.
cuhleef thats what im afraid of too but they always knew what song to play at the right time especially father and son that was on the zune so i have faith in them
That guardians of the galaxy song they made in the beginning was amazing.
The not so Smooth criminal they didn't make the one in the beginning it's called me blue sky
A woman once tried to kill me over some batteries I stole, so I thought it was normal.
So now do you like that part also? lol
Plus Mary Poppins was my favorite also :)! haha
is he cool, ..
hell yea he is
I'm Mary Poppins Y'all
Jervis Livingston lol
I was hoping that one of the after credits was Zandar was in ruin and thanos takes the stone from the nova core
Your review videos are really thoughtful and funny.Quality content.Love what you do
I fell like star lord should go super sayian when ego tells him he gave his mother cancer
Kool Aid Man he kind of did
Different kind of comic books
he went Pacman
Let's not ruin a perfectly good movie by screwing it up with a Dragonball reference.
That sounds just like something Eccleston's Doctor would say.
Here's an idea for the HISHE:
Back in the past Ego and Star Lord's mom go to a Baskin Robbins and start planting the seed, suddenly a Baskin Robbins employee steps out and says "Hey Ego just because you're a celestial doesn't mean that you can just plant your evil seeds in our parking lot" Ego turns around "How do you know who I am?" the employee replies "Baskin Robbins always finds out".
God of Evil I know. God Ego was fantastic. Easily the best Marvel villain ever. Hell, maybe the best villain in ANYTHING ever.
A Bitty British Brat Heath Ledger still takes the cake
Where was Jeff Bridges?
"After all these years I found you."
"And who the hell are you?"
"I figured my rugged good looks would make that obvious. My name is Ego, and I'm your dad, Peter."
Don't you remember Jeff Bridges was the first MCU villain He was Obadiah Stein in Iron Man 1 and yeah Ego was a truly great villain but I still have high hopes for Thanos in Infinity War
RIP Yondu. I seriously teared up at the end.
I also thought they Mary Poppins moment was one of the best parts.
Ego has got to be the best villain in the MCU next to Loki. His name pretty much screams his motivations throughout the whole movie and glad to know he'll be appearing in future films
WalkBlurry93 he got defeated by the guardians because his son was part celestial
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! WISH ALL COMIC BOOK PODCASTS WERE LIKE YOU.
I'M MARY POPPINS YALL!

Yondu: We both don't need to die
Quill: You're right, we can both live
Yondu: How
Quill: I always keep extra masks that I can use to breath in space
Yondu: So
Quill: So I can give you the suit and I can use the mask
Yondu: Well I was going to do this whole sacrifice thing but this sounds good
HISHE FF
We need a Hishe!! 😍
I felt bad for yondu, anyone else?
Yeah, I liked that character, but unfortunately a heroic death was about the only thing they could do with him. They painted themselves into a corner by making him way too powerful to ever become a permanent member of the team. He could easily make most of the Guardians' problems go away just by whistling for that arrow thingy.
Combo Systems CEO yeah like why didn't peter give him his space helmet like he did gamora
The animated dream Eventually
That got broken in the final fight, before he gets his power or whatever.
My top five MCU films:
1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1
2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3. Captain America: Civil War
4. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
5. Spider-Man: Homecoming
HISHE called han solo's death, now the mp3 player . How are you doing this?!!!!
