I leave my retwist in for 1-2 weeks depending on how long I want my hair to sit and grow in the style. I had about 6 or 7 retwist , I get my hair done every 2-3 months so I can allow it to breathe and grow without tension.

If it helps try using an app called Booksy for a specialist. But ask for parts and the loctician will understand, and I have around 60-75 locs

I only had a inch or two worth of hair , I had waves then grew them out
when you started the starter locs after how many weeks did you do a retwits
I did 4 weeks after my hair being in starter locs , always wait 4-6 weeks for a retwist

The first 5 -7 months I used Jamaican oil , and tea tree oil. After that my mom started making her own oil
Throw some tea tree oil in your shit from family dollar , its shaped like a tube with a needle head tip it cost $1.25

Currently I’m in a rotation of rice water , creme of nature leave in conditioner and I’m testing out oils that work best for my hair.
