The last miles of Washington to the Bridge of the Gods into Oregon! We crossed 500 miles and finished our first state!!!! Follow for more / laurenroerick
Now you’re into the section I’ve done! Walked from the sign in Washington.. back across the BOTG and then up a bit past Tunnel Falls and back. Beautiful. Excited for the next one!!
I keep seeing those berries along the trail inserts. I remember hiking up some trails in the Olympic mountains(probably buckhorn or marmot pass)and it was berry season. I was lucky enough to be with a plant nerd who knew all the varieties. That hike took probably more than three times as long. One thing I remember beside loving the berries was we came across deer and one bear doing the same thing we were. We just kept our heads down and kept distance. We ALL had a good day that day. Live and let live. Keep smiling and keep going.
Just hiked from the WA/OR border to that bridge at 0:59 today! It was 75 and windy, I can image it not being pleasant in the heat and humidity =( The blackberries are still out though! =)
Hopefully the new packpack will feel better. Backpacking here in Northern California is likely over until next year due to the fires. I'm hurt and out of commission anyway. Got in 6 days in the wilderness this year.
@@LaurenRoerick All of the National Forests in NorCal are closed through at least September 8. My best guess is that the PCT is closed from Mount Shasta to 75 miles south of Tahoe.
Oregon I love you. 😍
Great team spirit in your Trail-family Laureen. Its a pleasure to watch.
