Hi Russ! I really enjoy your videos of your summer travel! What a beautiful area you are in and that bridge was something! Safe travels!
G'morning Russ, jackpot of views going over the Bridge.......You got a Salute from a ship and a Train you have it all in this video....... and a painting to cool for school hahaha ...... thanks Russ Happy 4th of July......see you in the next video
Good it wasn't real windy as you crossed that high bridge. Happy trails.
Very cool post ❤️👍😎🌎🎥🎬⛰thanks for sharing and safe travels
Way cool Russ!!
this is the bridge that was used in the Reece Witherspoon movie Wild, a chronicle of a woman's 1,100-mile
the solo hike is undertaken as a way of recovery. Anyway Reece crosses the Bridge of the Gods at the end
of the movie and of course, they had closed it off due to filming, I remember seeing it and thinking my god
how I wish that I too could cross that bridge but they don't have a walkway, so I"m guessing you need a car the
walk she did was the Pacific Crest Trail which starts down near Arizona and finishes a little ways past the bridge
I quite enjoyed parts of the movie
An iconic brudge on the PCT !
Waved back Russ love the photage of the bridge and the scenery. The mural looks like it could use some restoration.
Morning Russ!🙋♀️ Dam was very impressive. Lotsa power, very cool. Fun crossing the bridge. Thanks for taking us! Enjoy your day!🌻
Roll on, Columbia, roll on
Roll on, Columbia, roll on
Your power is turning our darkness to dawn
So roll on, Columbia, roll on
Green Douglas firs where the waters cut through
Down her wild mountains and canyons she flew
Canadian Northwest to the oceans so blue
Roll on Columbia, roll on
Other great rivers add power to you
Yakima, Snake, and the Klickitat, too
Sandy Willamette and Hood River too
So roll on, Columbia, roll on
Tom Jefferson's vision would not let him rest
An empire he saw in the Pacific Northwest
Sent Lewis and Clark and they did the rest
So roll on, Columbia, roll on
It's there on your banks that we fought many a fight
Sheridan's boys in the blockhouse that night
They saw us in death but never in flight
So roll on Columbia, roll on
At Bonneville now there are ships in the locks
The waters have risen and cleared all the rocks
Shiploads of plenty will steam past the docks
So roll on, Columbia, roll on
And on up the river is Grand Coulee Dam
The mightiest thing ever built by a man
To run the great factories and water the land
So roll on, Columbia, roll on
These mighty men labored by day and by night
Matching their strength 'gainst the river's wild flight
Through rapids and falls, they won the hard fight
So roll on, Columbia, roll on

I grew up in Cascade Locks. The next time you go by the dam they have a fish hatchery that is really worth stopping and checking out.
Tell Herman i said hi.
Russ, hope you had a great 4th. Cascade Locks gets a lot of snow during the winter. When traveling from Portland, we stop there to have breakfast. Going over the Bridge of the Gods with a motorcycle is a little worrisome because of the metal grate and being that high off the river. It is pretty though.
The area was called “Bridge of the Gods” before this steel bridge was built, because the river could be crossed there on rocks.
Great video 👍 been down that road many times. Haven't stopped at the stops. Glad to see all places.
Hi, Russ! I grew up in Kelso, Washington and my older sister moved out to Stevenson when she was 18. I haven’t seen that Bridge since I was 15 and I’ll be 62 in a couple of months. I envy your travels. I’m a traveler, too, temporarily grounded. I knew when you went to park at that viewpoint that you would grab the shaded area out of habit, you AZ guy! 😁 🌞 I am thoroughly enjoying your videos, and I thank you for sharing them.
Don't know how we have missed this on our travels! Will have to add this to our bucket list! Beautiful! 💓💓
Hike the PCT, and you will not miss it!!
Thank you Russ.
Great video series, so far you are going to all our annual northwest vacation spots. We stayed at the koa in cascade locks on our first visit....do not do that, the placed us next the rail tracks...ever twenty minutes all night long....hooooooonnnnnkkkk. 3 times.... We will never return to that koa.
I have trouble reserving a campsite because I never know where I'll be when it's time to stop. I'm attempting to join the Elks, just to have an alternative. Beautiful episode, thanks
I hiked across that bridge in june.its part of the PCT.
Now that's country!

Awesome video thanks 🇨🇦🇨🇦🛠🛠
Love your videos! Just got back from our trip to Oregon from Ga. Did you try that restaurant next to the bridge? Had the best clam chowder We stayed at the KOA down the road, boy, gotta love those trains! Drove my wife crazy! We crossed the bridge and wanted to drive down the Washington side, nice drive. While doing that our daughter, special-needs, had a major gall stone attack and we spent about 4 hours at the Providence Hospital. This was around 10 at night, didn't get back to the campsite until 2am. The staff, especially a nurse and Dr. were fantastic. Gone 7 weeks, gotta catch up with your videos
Hey Russ,
Just Perfect,

Where you live?
How old are you just curious

I wish you would just share more details on the the items that you are showing for one to two seconds.
I want to be able to look up information myself. I like Russ because he shows what he wants when he wants. Did you know Bridge of the Gods was part of a trail system? It goes from Mexico to Canada. I watch the videos and note the places. Then I research items. Try it. Please Russ do not turn into a bus tourist guide.
