MY BROTHER IN CHRIST! You helped SO MUCH! Nothing you did really worked since I didnt try it but I (after you said to) tried a bunch of different graphics settings and somehow got my shit to work!!!! Here are the settings for anyone in desperate times: Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Resolution: 1910x1080 Refresh Rate: 60Hz (My monitor can do 100+ but for some reason 60 was the only one working) Window Mode: Fullscreen Brightness: 5/10 VSync: On Stretching: On ADVANCED GRAPHICS: Enviorment Quality: Very High Texture Quality: Ultra High (Helped with buildings not loading in) Shadow Quality: High Ambient Occlusion: HBAO+ (dont know wtf it is but it works) Anti-Aliasing Quality: TXAA (dont know wtf it is but it works) Bloom: On MY SPECS: Ryzen 7 Geforce RTX 3060 Ti 16GB Ram 1TB SSD /MONITOR/ 27´´ (Whatever that means, am in europe btw if that matters) FHD 1920 x 1080 165Hz Refresh Rate 1ms Response Time with MPRT DONT KNOW IF THIS HELPS BUT WORKED FOR ME HOPE IT DOES FOR YOU!
Thanks very much. Looks a little better! I was scared when I started the game for the first time. Now I have a little more desire to keep playing it thanks to you :) My hardware: RTX 3060 OC and Ryzen 7 5800x
If anyone had the issue in the first part of the video where textures werent loading and they were all grainy, the thing that worked for me was switching my anti-aliasing to txaa if you have an nvidia graphics card!
All I did was set it to ultra high and it fixed everything, even better I wanted to play at max graphics and I didn’t know that there was an ultra. Thanks dude!
I highly doubt anyone will see this but I’m struggling with the EXACT issues displayed in the beginning of the video (textures not loading in correctly and looking veryyy low res, or sometimes not loading in at all). I’ve tried everything in this video, and none of the proposed solutions seem to fix the problem. The ONLY solution I have found, although the game still looks quite terrible, to stop the low res/glitchy textures, is to play on MSAA 8x. Not 2x or 4x, but 8x. None of the other anti-aliasing options work. If this helps you then great, but I’d really like to use a different anti-aliasing option because this setting eats up performance while still not producing satisfying results. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or would like to discuss your experience with Unity’s graphical issues, reply to this comment so we can talk and maybe try to help each other out :)
Yeah turning the AA up to your max (For me it's TXAA. MSAA 8x only made the problem go away for 10 mins b4 it came back) seems to fix that for environmental stuff but is there a fix for the NPCs? There's just horrid pop-in textures regardless of the setting I have the game at and I think it's the same issue with the buildings except nothing fixes it.
Not a fix from this video, but I recently upgraded my pc, 13600KF, 6400mhz ddr5 and a RX 6800XT, I went to go play ACU and I was pushing about 200-230fps, but my game looked horribly, textures not loading LOD not loading and black grainy artifacting on the textures, I tried every supposed graphics fix and nothing worked, I remembered that most older games tend to break when frame rates are pushed that high for whatever reason, capping the FPS through Radeon software or RTSS fixed all my issues it seems with a high end rig that’s gets alot of fps breaks ACU game engine. I hope this helps someone, I capped it to 120fps btw, which is still smooth enough for me
Thanks a lot, just adjusting the compatibility settings alone improved the fps count by a lot, also changed the environment settings from 0 to 3, now I'm getting a stable 42-45 fps on ultra on my 1050ti.
its a FPS thing, if the game runs over 120fps the texture rendering will fuck up. running the game on ultra high setting or 4k res seems to be the only way right now to limit your fps, but it will take unessesary reasorses from your computer
Thanks to this idea I changed in NVIDIA control panel/ 3D settings/ Program Settings/ Max Frame Rate/ to 120 frames per second, this fixed it for me. Playing in 1080 resolution, High overall settings no resource hungry, good video quality. First I tried few fixes from the video neither of them worked for me, only this worked. Hopefully this helps some people.
Thank u man I just bought assasins creed Unity for the First time since I got a new PC and some people on reddit said its a problem with my GPU but u saved me gang
Copying the settings from that note pad pulled from the documents, then cranking all the advanced graphic settings to max in the game worked for me!!!! Mainly was having issues with the ground not loading or buildings and trees looking terrible Ryzen 9 7900x Geforce 4070ti 32Gb DDR5 RAM
For my game, by changing the value to 3 def made the draw distance a bit better but from far away to a building the black window is just not black (didnt render?) and the roof texture still look like shit and when i walk close to the building the window is black ( it render?) and roof texture all fine
My issue is that i don't even have any documents on my acu document folder, and because of that, i cannot fix the problem, nor fix it in the nvidia panel, because nvidia doesnt see the document folder
This happens for me in both Unity and Rogue, which I just started playing. I want to get Syndicate but I'm guessing the issue is still present? The fuzzy textures from mid/far range is really annoying and pulls you out of the game. :(
The ACU properties don't even give me a compatibility option and I don't even have a ACU documents folder. I ain't never gonna fix this issue. Imma have to just mess with the in game graphics to see if it'll help.
Hey mate, thanks for this vid. Do you happen to know of any method to stop the insane amount of Pop-in when it comes to NPC's appearing out of nowhere? Thanks!
The lights in my game just start flickering, even inside buldings, the rest runs ok. I dont have and Nvidea as far has I know. Can someone help me with this? No problem, thats exactly why I made this just incase anyone needed a quick fix for the same issues. With a 1060 you should be okay to follow all the same steps and if you have any problems just lower the quality in areas like shadows. Thank you for the like and sub I really apprecite that.
@@FilmFiend Is that an issue ? I am not fluent in english so I thougth that was a way to have building far from Arno in highter quality , and so to feel the game more immersive.
First off 1: When i click on properties, I can't see a compatibility mode, it's not there. 2nd: When i try to open the ACU Document with notepad, it says the cloud file provider is not running.
sadly this didn't help me at all still having exactly the texture glitches shown at the start of the video. probably just gonna have to give up on this otherwise excellent game
Do you mean NPC’s are randomly appearing? This is a guide to optimal settings based on what I’ve tried, the game is a mess but it’s definitely playable if you are patient.

The reason why the game is in a small window is because upscaling the resolution bugged my OBS. It wont look like that for you.
