I mean, Yoda has to make an appearance somehow. The show is set 100 years before the Revenge of the Sith. Yoda is on the Jedi Council. I believe Vernestra is also on the Jedi Council. Perhaps we'll see a scene where she speaks with Yoda. Yoda doesn't have to be the main character, but they should show him somehow.
He's the one everyone turns to for advice. The Jedi Council wouldn't do anything without his knowledge. Other than that I think we should see plaguies too. Because if I am not wrong he should be around somehow.

In canon, yoda ages at a consistent rate
In legends, yoda ages of the speed of a human and then stops almost completely at the age of fully grown, given 20 years, and he just stays like that for hundreds of years
on one hand yes coz its about killing jedi and i think he would be crucial to the plot but already see how some people would say he's another cheap cameo trick to boost the interest

Yoda became a Master around age 100 and was a Grand Master for over 200 years so he should already be a grandmaster during the time this show takes place, however he shared the title with two other Grand Masters back in the High Republic era eventually becoming the sole Grand Master.
Should they? Probably, being a prominent figure during this time period. Do I want them to? No lol. At this point a yoda cameo won’t encourage me to like it more.
Knowing how Leslie treats the legacy characters she’ll make Yoda the final boss the Osha and Mae team up to beat at the end of Acolyte show 😂

No. As much as I love the classic characters, we don't need everything to be connected. It just makes the universe feel small.
The show directly deals with major events that directly affect the Jedi Order. It makes perfect sense for him to appear, even if he's not a major character driving the plot forward. Your point would be valid if this was with a show like Andor.
