- I reviewed the big one, loved it, but it was in fact just a bit too big. WELL thankfully, Rike and Microtech have answered my prayers, and they have delivered unto me The Mini Socom Bravo. And I love it. Everything I loved about the full sized version, just shrunk down ever so slightly, to fit nicely in my shmedium sized hands.

@@peytonkellar4621did you see Transparent Knives video on the mini socom? It tested 61.6 hrc I believe it was. Not to shabby. Rike for the win on heat treat. Lol..
I pace myself with a direct deposit knife fund. $50 a pay check, only buy with the funds available.
For real…..seems like that’s how it’s been lately. Either nothing is out of any interest or it’s grails all day long.
Very impressed with this knife. Mine came centered on the DOT, the fit and finish is superb, the action is amazing (it almost feels like it’s partially automatic the way it fires open with very little effort), it’s perfect EDC size, very detailed look and beautiful in general. This knife is a home run in my opinion.

well said ! love it so much I bought both the tanto an drop point... action, vault like lock up, premium materials, fit and finish, front end sharpness out the box.. I just hope hope the heat treat is good !

I bought a mini socom bravo tanto at the beginning of the month and they do get super smooth after break in. I'd like to try out some skiffs in it to see if it gets even better. 💥ER 🤘

Loved the full-size and I’m glad I picked up this one as well. I held off and I finally was able to hunted the drop-point from an online retailer at regular prices. FYI, Microtech said on one of their most recent RUclips videos that they will be splitting the sheets with Rike 😢sad to hear that, Rike really does do amazing work.

I just got mine, and I can’t keep my fingers off the lock bar. I cannot open this knife using one hand. If you have large hands please try it out before you buy.
Do you prefer the tanto or plain version?
Honestly, I think for my uses, I'd prefer the drop point blade. easier to sharpen. but the Tanto is still great.

I'm on the fence with this one. I owned the original version, the ergos are garbage. It's just not a comfortable knife and was hella thick behind the edge. This one still caught my interest...maybe if it was in the $275 range.
Dude, I just sent mine back. If you have hands larger than a child the lock bar makes the deployment almost impossible with one hand. I was so disappointed.
