Designed by Microtech® and manufactured by Rikeknife, the SOCOM Bravo™ is
a collaboration knife patterned after the classic SOCOM. This manual folder is an
excellent heavy-duty tactical knife. It features 6AL-4V titanium and carbon fiber
handle and is offered in both Single Edge Clip Point and Tanto blades. A lanyard
hole and pocket clip make for functional carry.

That’s really impressive especially the sharpness test. The durability of microtech knives are top shelf unlike most of the bottom shelf knives I’ve had in the past. Love this knife love this channel ❤️

Great test! When I first heard ‘bout a torture test by Ray I though it would be fair to do a versus between socom bravo and a standard socom elite manual, but this test totally proves that the famous Microtech quality, no matter with whom collaboration is, is still the goddamn precision standard of knife cutlery!
One of the best torture tests I've seen on a microtech blade. I always question the reliability of a frame lock/liner lock. This video leaves little doubt.
Awesome torture test. Just received mine back in December and been EDC’ing since. No markings on titanium or carbon fiber. Cuts everything I throw at it and still sharp. Thanks for the video and test. MT products are definitely top shelf!!! Just ordered me a Socom Alpha Mini with the 🦷... Can’t wait to get it!!!
Great video, love the fact you are testing with off the rack knife and showing what you can do with the blade. I also like when you do pocket dumps around the shop, seeing what employees have and carry. Thanks for posting this video!

Odd how I can use mine for a week and the blade will hardly cut paper. Yet they do destructive testing and it's good as new.

Wow! I am a Microtech OTF fan and currently own two, and Ultratech and UTX-70. I was never interested in the folders but his video just changed my perspective on these knives. Super impressed!
It definitely held up well. Honestly your older torture tests with the Ultratech convinced me to buy a partally serrated RSK ultratech and it has served me well so far on quite a few fires and vehicle accidents in the 5 months I've owned it.
Seeing tests like these definitely makes me more comfortable in using them everyday. Keep up the good work! Would love more torture tests!

That was the best torture test I have ever seen done on a knife and for the amount of damage it had was crazy how good it held up. Microtech are the best knives by far no questions asked.

Been wanting a Socom Bravo for awhile. Really impressed how well it stood up to the torture tests!
The knife performed extremely well given what it was put through. It's surprising to see M390 hold up that well to that kind of abuse. I was also impressed with the pivot and lock surviving the batoning with no damage. I would never perform those kinds of tasks with a folding knife, but it's nice to know that if you had to the Bravo can withstand it.
Definitely impressed. I wasn’t expecting it to cut through the paper at the end. I would rather have this than a new one so I wouldn’t have to worry about scratching or damaging it. Maybe shoot the next one with a steel penetrator round.👍
Very impressive! This is the level of quality I think is overlooked in many premium knife brands. Will definitely be looking into more Microtechs now 👍🏽

Those crazy tests sent shivers down my spine. Very impressive that the Socom Bravo survived all that with just very minor damage. It's an awesome tool indeed.
Very impressive way to show the integrity of another great microtech folder. These videos and others is what led me to my first microtech purchase, the socom elite.
Can we just note how unphased Ray is at the prospect of having to hit a knife blade from a distance... then calmly does it like it's nothing special.. kudos dude

Recently getting into EDC and all things knives. Been a fan of Forged in Fire forever. Love this video! This has to be a great job. Crazy testing, and the bullet test was just icing!

This is such an Iconic Microtech Knife that’s been around Decades and has stood up to so much abuse that I’ve seen and still taking a Razor sharp hair popping edge. The SOCOM just does the Work… Semper Fidelis

Ordered my first microtech 2 months ago. I went with the ultratech, and man do I love it. Best OTF knife I have ever handled much less owned. I’m an NC resident, so Hopefully I can check out the Mills river store one day.

That is the absolute most impressive torture test I’ve ever seen on a knife. Great job! I’m getting a Socom Bravo as soon as I can. However, I definitely will not be treating it like the one I just watched. Awesome video. I’m sold.

I highly doubt many “production” knives could stand up to the torture tests you put these through. Watched your torture test of the LUDT and that sealed the deal and I bought one. Pretty cool stuff from Microtech!

I love that it’s a frame lock. That was my only holdback on getting the Socom elite manual with its liner lock. I’m excited to see more models come out in this line.

Good tests. Honestly never expect to subject my blades to anything resembling what u did but it’s nice to see it sailed through all the tests :)
Very impressive knife. Sure those test were a but unrealistic, but sometimes life can be a bit unrealistic at times. I’m impressed that you pointed out the loss of the tip early on. You could have easily re-profiled the tip and we would have never known, but you took the hard path and that says quite a bit about your character and says volumes about your company.

Impressive always was on the fence to buy a microtech product always was a fan of the halo. Unbelievable the knife didn't break with the kinetic impact from the .40. Now I'm ready to go shopping! Appreciate the test!
I cannot believe it made it through all those tests! Batoning with a dead blow!?! Insane! I've always loved the SOCOM line but the Bravo is in my opinion a signature series of the Elite. Beautiful knife and as proven, will stands up to anything.

I didn’t expect that when he said split a bullet that he was going to shoot the bullet. I thought he was going to baton it. I love this channel and all you do for proving microtech quality. Down the road I’ll own something you guys make.

Wow, I have a CF Sigil MK6 which is my favorite manual folding knife, and I'm getting real tempted to get my hands on the SOCOM Bravo as its similar yet beefier, pretty much everything that I look for in a knife, lol! Thanks Microtech for making fantastic knives!!
Woohoo!! Great test of the Socom Bravo. I noticed the blade deploying sometimes when the knife is dropped closed. I don't know how strong the detent is on the average SOCOM - but the titanium/CF scales, blade steel, pivot and locking mechanism held up like a champ. The "budget" Microtech knife truly is a Microtech knife in terms of materials, value, and functionality.
That was unexpected! Didn't expect you to go so hard on it! But it took it like a champ and came out swinging! Want it now!!

I was blown away by the test. I know Microtech sets the bar but they really are tanks. I have a Halo V that was my EDC for a few years. That thing has seen some use. It was my grail knife, but now I think that Socom Bravo has taken on that role. New grail knife for sure.
My jaw is on the floor, The brutal testing has only generated more proof of an ultimate in a hard use folding knife. No matter the location can take there without a glimmer of doubt to its performance . Beyond impressive. Backing your product in ways never intended to be used. Cannot say enough great things about your knives!

Incredible! I've never seen a Benchmade do anything but collect dust. You guys just sold me. I'm selling all my Bench made to collectors that dont ever use their knives.

Wow that edge held up perfectly at the end, despite all of that torture. I'm still pretty surprised that the tip didn't break off more when being wedged back and forth in that board. You guys have to do a torture test on the Makoda you guys just released !

That was awesome! Never got the chance to own a Microtech but now I’m definitely looking at them.
Wow, I wasn’t aware that Microtech blades were so well built, strong, and durable. They are also beautifully designed. Their OTF are parallel to none. Microtech collaborations are great too. The M390 they use is perfect and is worry free. One of my favorites is the Iconic. I hope to save up and get that too. I wish times weren’t so hard. If I could, I would buy all of the models. They’re the best bang for your buck on the high end.
I have never, never, never even heard of a knife being shot And spliting the bullet! Absolutely incredible performance that inspires complete confidence in the Socom Bravo and Microtech in general! Bravo!
