I'm a search and rescue scuba diver which holds challenges for knives. What I would honestly love to see is a knife for diving. Chisel tip, strap cutter hook, larger frame, finger ring for stability, rough texture for grip. Call it the Poseidon. Great knives guys

Walking around an office building asking office workers which gift from the christmas party they edc to the office. Hardly a testament of quality. Ive been using the same schrade old timer 4" lockback my grandfather gave me for my 14th birthday for 24 yrs as an edc. I clean and sharpen when needed and its prob got another 25 yrs before i gotta look for another one.
Hopefully no one needs to warranty their knife in 12 years or so. I have a 2008 Ultratech. I called asking about paying them to replace the blade and broken main spring. They won't do it because it's too old. So apparently "lifetime" really means "until we change the geometry" or "until we decide it's too old". I distinctly remember buying a product with a lifetime warranty. I have other Microtechs that old and older that are still operating, so they're still within their lifetime. I've spent thousands on Microtech products and was about to spend more. However, I will NEVER purchase another one of their products again after the girl I talked to said they can't help me.

İ see you really build high quality switchblades for both daily use, outdoor or self defence. Microtech is my favourite automatic knife 🔪 brand but unfortunately in my country switchblades are not allowed so all we can do is buy cheap quality Chinese clones in blackmarket.
You all seem to carry your knives in your pockets. I tend to carry mine inside my waste-band. The only problem is the knife clip is very sharp where the lanyard hole is and it digs into my side when I lean the wrong way. I actually used a rubber mallet to bend it up so it would not dig into my side.
I find it amusing your carrying the prototype stitch. Im looking at stitch 003 right now, although its not my EDC. Its literally the sharpest knife I have ever bought.
I just bought a brand new utx 85 d/e the craftsmanship would have been top notch if it had a edge on it. It is the dullest knife I have ever bought I have 20 dollar kershaws that have a 100% better edge then this 200 plus dollar knife. Very Disappointed!! You must have to work at microtech to have a sharp microtech.

Please start producing them again , I need two more to complete my collection . I’ve been on a wish list for 10 months ,come on start manufacturing those RUSH , and the socom delta and elite , just do it.
