Welcome to another episode of Romantic Rhein video series. In this video we are going to explore Braubach. It is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, approximately 10 km southeast of Koblenz.
Braubach has a long history and medieval character, surrounded by vines and roses and guarded by the imposing Marksburg Castle, which towers high above the winding streets of the old town. Marksburg Castle is the only undestroyed hilltop castle on the Middle Rhine and has 800 years of rich history.
This small town possesses a unique characteristic with its historical churches and richly decorated old half-timbered houses, palaces and a beautiful rose garden on Rhein.
