A "vortex character" is "a character whose entire game centers around knocking them down and then keeping them knocked down." There are wakeup mixups that don't keep them knocked down, or aren't very likely too. There are things to do on wakeup that aren't mixups at all, such as doing a meaty fireball just so that you push them away and establish zoning. "Vortex" is an incredibly specific term. There is okime, then there's mixups you do during okime, then there's okime mixups that leads to more okime, and then there's a vortex when you got a lot of them
