Hello Kris ! Wonderful un-boxing . Mijello was the very first set i got when starting this watercolor journey & i love em ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us . Have a Great Saturday .
Mijello was one of the first brands I used too. I wanted to try these Pure Pigment paints. Have a great day!!
It’s worth a mention that the larger 26color set is selling for the same price. That’s what i chose because it was literally exact same price for 8 more colors !! I’m loving them so far SO pigmented ! So easily rehydrated !! If anything I’m having difficulty getting the color as light as I want they are so pigmented, it’s an adjustment from student grade to such quality but so worth it!!
Since my purchase the 18ct set has now decreased to $64 and the 26ct set is still $80.98.
I may have gone for the 18ct set had the price been what it is now but in all I’m thrilled with my purchase.
Thanks so much for posting up to date information about the options and prices for this set. I'm glad to hear you like the paints. They were my first set of professional grade paints and I loved them.
@@KrisDeBruineStudio no problem happy to help :) My very first real pro paints were the Daniel Smith Essential Mixing Split Primary Palette and I love it, but I heard so many good things about MG’s Pure Pigment line and when I saw them for such a great price I jumped at the chance and haven’t regretted it! These paints are SO vibrant and pigmented but can easily be muted down to preference. Being honey based they deactivate more quickly then any other brand of paint I have ever tried. I’m learning to be more light handed when picking up color which is a big change from most student grade watercolors!
Hi Kris! What a great video. So informative. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback.
New sub! Love your unveiling!
Yay! Welcome to the channel. I have another unboxing coming up later today! Enjoy!
