Good morning, my name is Johnny Lopez. I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois, and I love listening to Motown and I love the temptations. I will go up-and-down the hallways. As a young man sing in just my imagination. Well, I ended up moving to Puerto Rico, with my parents at the age of 16. I encountered this young man. He pulled out the base and started playing just my imagination. I started singing. I'm trying to make it as short as possible. Sing watch that. They ask me to sing at high school graduation and I sang the song and the rest is history because like I said, I've been blessed.

This song was stuck in my head all day today and I was feeling off since this afternoon. My grandmother who was battling cancer just passed away tonight and this song has made me feel so much closer to her. She loved music and this was one of her favorites. She’s with my grandfather now (he passed in 2020) so I know she must be happy and I’m glad she’s not in any pain anymore. However I’m feeling so much mixed emotions right now and hope God can continue to help me and my family through this time. ❤

i grew up in the 60's the amount of music coming at you all at once was incredible . these guys were one of a kind,, no one could out sing , out step, out dress the Temptations.
I used to run the night audit at a hotel in Silver Spring, Maryland and Eddie's sister lived across the street. A couple of times when the Temps were in the DC area, he would stay at the hotel and visit his sister. He would come in around 2 am or 3am from a concert and we'd chat for about 15 minutes or so before he went up to bed. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I was only about 19 at the time and I was too stupid to be star struck.
Eddie Kendricks, the background vocals, the set design, the wardrobe...everything is just unbelievable. It's as great as it gets. The only other that comes to mind is Elvis' If I Can Dream.
