    Great Lesson to see you in action with a Flight Simmer. My next purchase will be Beyound ATC, I think it would be great to communicate with a virtual ATC.

    My first time doing ATC was an absolute nightmare. I mean I was used to VATSIM and stuff but honestly starting my pilots license training, flight sim helps SOOO much.

      Agree that it can be used as a great tool when handled appropriately:). Though I also enjoy using my sim for entertainment and doing things that are not going to be done In a plane I have access to :)

    Pilotedge needs an East Coast USA division for those of us (real & sim) pilots who never fly on the West coast! I'm one RW pilot who's been waiting for that since it's inception. Funny thing is, it's creator is based out of KCDW in NJ. An airport that I've flown into dozens of times as a student pilot as well as after getting my PPL, lol. Anyhow, I enjoyed this video. Nice job 🙂

      Thanks! .. I agree would be great for them to work out a way to expand.. doing the North East would be another great place to build out from.

    Another good reason to top off first if any water is in the fuel you might just give it i time at lunch to settle out! Another reason to get it lady would be to prevent it from thermal expansion and leaking thought the vent lines. 🤯🛫

      @LesOReilly  9 месяцев назад +1

      The Sierra does not have the leaking issue other planes can have with that.

    This is very fun to watch! I am a CYOW VATSIM controller and live in Ottawa IRL. What day is this filmed? I took pictures (some published on JetPhotos) of this exact aircraft recently as well of another aircraft that we could see parked at the flying club (CF-RFQ). Do you own C-GMTT? Also, where can we find the "last episode" mentioned in the video? Thank you!

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад

      MTT is a group owned plane. We hangar it at CYOW at the OFC. RFQ is one of the OFC club planes. We did this flight end of July. The other flight that I brought footage up from has not been edited or published. It was a trip to CYTZ.

      They are great little planes. I mean would have loved a turbo version :) but it’s still a capable platform.

      @LesOReilly Yeah Turbo would be awesome. But I'm add-in the wheel fairings to turn my B24R into a C24R. Hopefully I'll gain a few knots. haha

    Having been a real pilot flying for over50 years retired Air line and corporate aviation, flight simulation has come along way. I have owned every flight sim program since 1982-1984. The most disappointing in Fs2020 is the ATC. It is a joke! No where near life like. I joined vatsim back in the early 2000’s I have not experimented with vatsim recently. 😁🛫

    • @LesOReilly

      Try the paid for Pilot Edge .. only west coast coverage but it's full staffed by paid employees .. done really well. I have never used Sim ATC only Vatsim .. if not online it's better to just use nothing.
