The points you mentioned are exactly what I love about Costa Rica too. Hope to nice back sooner than later. BTW your communication improves with every video.
Costa Rica, and it's culture, is an amazing place. The people are fantastic. You can find problems anywhere in the world. But, in Costa Rica they pale in comparison to the benefits!!!
I agree, so i'm gonna take a chance and ask, with all of the patience that i have left, for you to stay put and DO NOT come here to gentrify and buy up all the land. I mean can't you people see what's happening in Hawaii, you are displacing YOUR OWN COUNTRYMEN. Why do the same here? Sarah says she loves our culture, then why add to the problem and gentrify. By all means, come and visit, and then leave, by anything you consider sacred, please don't force your stay. I'm in disbelief that I have to even ask smdh
It has. Still fun for some. Convenient for those without a car who want to surf. wATCH out for all the flying boards, one took me out for a week. Ladies watch out for "Ladies night" at the bar. Should be called Date Rape Night with Local Men only.
Just recently found your channel and really liking it. We are moving from the US to the Puriscal area in June. Hope to attend one of your retreats in the future!
Good video. I do like the "No competition" part. The way that you cant work down there helps I think because greedy people cant dominate. In Cabo San Lucas Mexico, 5 "Authentic Mexican Rest" are owned by a gringo from Cali and you would never know unless you are friendly and talkative. The locals hate the idea...some dont like the guy because it's about the money. My wife and I will be in Jaco for a week on the 13th, may reach out to meet ya.
You mentioned safety and your daughter. That is my first and biggest concern, we have a 7yr old and a 16yr old. Where did you choose to raise your daughter? My next concern is required monthly income for a family of 4 plus grandma (so 5)? Thanks in advance!
Likes:?Food? Well, definitely the fresh tropical fruits. Otherwise, not a great deal of variety. Weather? Pretty outstanding since you can pretty well pick what suits you best. Scenery? Pretty jaw-dropping. Cost of living? Reasonable if you stay out of the tourist areas. Healthcare? Top notch if you can afford to pay out-of-pocket. Location? Centrally located the Americas. Language? Spanish is probably the easiest language for an English speaker to learn.
Do you have any videos geared towards the lifestyle of retired people over 60? Most travel RUclipsrs act as if the only audience and demographic is between 20 and 40.
Not being disrespectful, as I had a great month in Tama. But, attractive friendly non local women have EVERY door opened for them. Men have to be unbelievably perfect, and still friendships are not as easily made. Women have it EASY here.

Tamarindo must have changed a lot since I was there in 2005.
