Since I started carpentry and cabinet making classes, I’ve been binge watching your videos. Really entertaining and informative, your reviews have helped me a lot and convinced me to choose Milwaukee as my battery tool system. Keep up the good content. I really enjoy it.
Two AAs? Seems like a miss when they could have used their RedLithium USB rechargables...? Like, the lasers are M12 or USB... why not keep on the same batteries?
Hello! Have you tested out the new Makita multitool? DTM52. Just for mine. The antivibration is out of this world! Love to see how it stacks up against the fuel m18, vecturo, fein 700 etc. Its thick, but im guessing its packed with AVT goodies. And the fein patent on anti vibration is already taken.
Yes def will use great for 5 foot bench marks . I’m a license plumber and now instead of my guys having to carry the laser to each room they could have the laser next to the surveyors line and than have a helper go to the Rooms with the tool and mark the 5 foot mark:
I recently bought a Bosch 3D laser level because it is accurate to 2mm/m. Most laser levels use Leica's components, and are rated to 3mm/m class, including Milwaukee. It might not sound like a lot, but I think that potential for more accuracy is always better! Milwaukee also seems to be slightly more expensive in the European market compared to the North American. I was seriously considering the M12 laser because I like the M12 line, but decided to move away from that because I liked the Bosch laser better. One thing that puts limit on laser levels is how thick the laser line is, and gives too much room for interpritation. Laser lines should be only 0.5-1mm thick instead of 2-3mm. One thing that people should always consider is how much they expect to use laser levels. If you use it often you wanna use one with a rechargable battery, as green lasers eats batteries like nobodys business.
We had to go with the hilti 360 laser. Milwaukee doesn't include the mounting brackets. At $650 its semi useless. Hilti included the brackets a tripod and an extra battery
One thing to note about Bosch lasers: I dropped one a 8-9 foot onto the floor below while we renovated a house. It escaped from the incident unharmed with it's accuracy intact.
¹ Vince, you read my mind; as DO own a few Bosch Distance Laser Measures, along with Self Leveling Cross and Rotary Line lasers and receivers. Can also now say, been using the new Bosch Blaze 165-27CG green laser Distance measure that will also work¹ with Bosch’s new MeasureOn App, which supposed to be BETTER than the older MeasureOn Gen 1 App (which still use as well, lol); and been Beta Teating the MeasureOn App. Know way to left field of video😜, but the experience of the MeasureOn App (in comparison to MeasureOn Gen 1 App; has been interesting and absolutely garbage town at times), is a mixed bag…..as I’m sure anyone else who’s been a Tester can relate. Now, for all who made to end of comment, not sure if know…. Bosch does offer Laser Receivers to work with Line and rotary lasers that you may already have and been using; just don’t know can use grade stick and receiver as well. They have the LR1-LR8 model receivers that work with all diff types of lasers. Do wanna DEFINITELY check this new Milwaukee unit out; since fir me…..Bosch & Stabila have been the Gold Standard for these “Products”, & to have a Brand introduce a new product in the space and lineup…….JUST COOL, and a little competition is good, so companies/brands don’t become stuck, stagnant w/ products….NUT AT SAME TIME, kinda bumping prices up 😉 Can’t wait to give this a go at, and thx for the vid✌🏻 ¹ if have typos and words that make no sense…apologies as did 3 18 hr days and extremely tired w/ blurry eyes (from tired eye strain). And now, good n8gjt😊
@@danl.4743 sorry about replying 2 days L8R, phone messed up and all my notifications got cleared. So, how you go about testing the Bosch MeasureOn App (née version not MeasureOn Gen 1)… Well, here’s how I did it. I been using Blaze 59CX for while and the Gen 1 App, then I got a email from Bosch Media tell8mg about new App coming out, the MeasureOn App, and when I went to all store to search for it, it popped up. I clicked and it said it was coming soon and I could sign up through my Bosch account to be notified and a “Beta Tester” when was released. Months go by and one day the App automatically downloaded to phone and was on Home Screen. When I clicked on it, it has 2 checkboxes that MUST AGREE for this app to work (also, unlike Gen 1, this app collects your Data….not really sure why AND CAN’T TURN THAT OFF) and so did that and now been using app since was released. I told a co-worker about it couple weeks later and when they looked in App Store (Apple or Android) the new Bosch MeasureOn was not there; so think was for early adopters in beginning. If want to try the app now, go to Apple App Store (or Play Store) and search: Bosch MeasureOn and install. Will be 2 versions that should pop up, Bosch MeasureOn Gen 1 (the older app, and it’s BUGGY, but imo, still better than new one) and new version Bosch MeasureOn (got an update 1 day ago; but app is still not good, and Bosch NEEDS TO MAKE IT BETTER, like we all want, imo, and on day 1, it wasn’t even usable, was that bad. Measure an entire project …..room or more, and make notes, take pics, & then app would crash and everything would be GONE😡, then for 3 weeks, app would even open 🤦🏼. Does work now, but needs work still). So, that the long version of how I got the app, and should be in the App stores now (assuming but b/c was early adopter/beta tester, I could see the app, where other couldn’t is what was told) if wanna try out. Once do, open it up, select the check boxes, connect laser measure (which must be in the approval list fir the app, another thing wish would change and allow ANY laser measure, even w/in Bosch’s lineup) and should end up “sending data and usage statistics” back to Bosch and within settings can suggest edits for future updates. Sorry about the length and hope this helps✌🏻
Get in line and keep waiting. Us siding guys have been waiting for years for a cordless siding nailer. For some reason why when I speak to all the reps out here they all seem to not care, but when I tell them how many siding guys there are they seemed surprised.
From someone that already has in excess of $10k of Milwaukee products it’s a waste of time me getting too excited about any lasers or digital spirt levels or gen 2 brad nailers etc because as to date none are available in Australia and with no date of release on the horizon, if at all. One importer (TTI) has full control over all Milwaukee products and sets the price here in Oz, I’m led to believe. 🤷♂️🤦♂️
I have the 360 rechargeable lazer it's cool concept the adjust knob but overall it's way too heavy ! And I cant use it in alot of the same scenarios that I use the dewalt 360 . Definitely not worth the price save your hard earned cash my friends
Great job with the video but there's lots of fluff without any substantiated claims; presumably from Milwaukee talking points and not you. How does it lay others out, why is it "fastest point to point alignment", and the MSRP on the comparable Bosch unit (LR8) is $40 less... This entire category from Milwaukee is underwhelming, overhyped, and overpriced. It seems entirely like a "me too" category because they know many will buy anything red.
And here I was thinking it was an automatic peanut butter and jelly sandwich dispenser. Very disappointed in Milwaukee. We don't need tools we need the future of jobsite food. Already caught gonorrhea and chlamydia from all the local taco trucks. That could have been the ex-girlfriend, but still,- I blame Milwaukee as I wouldn't have ventured off for food then dating the taco truck owner's daughter!

Makita has 1
They exist but they ain't made by milwaukee
Makita brand "Roomba" lawn mower please 😁

Allegedly according to my milwaukee rep who worked in OPE before the promotion says next year we will be getting lawnmowers
Just got my first milwaukee cordless tool today, the m12 screwdriver kit not brushless but already live it only driven 2 #2 screws
Any shopman would be happy to have this laser line dtector!
I went with dewalts 360 degreee because I couldn’t get Milwaukee. I like it. Will this be compatible with other brands?
This looks promising, but I'd want to check it with my stablia's before purchasing
Wish it had some actual range and outdoor use... would love to use it with the topcon rl-h5a

Very nice addiction to the Milwaukee line of lasers and levels @Vcgconstruction
Definitely gonna talk to my Milwaukee rep to hurry up and get me some of these
