Haha, I literally built one like this 50 years ago!!! Really. It was fun . It was a heathkit. It had tuning pots to dial in the various channels and it worked well!. Brings back memories for sure.
Dang, that Heathkit is prob a little better than this one I would hope.
This video was off the chain ….. inspirational and motivational. The kit looks easy and could work as a great project for young people at a radio club event. 😊

Mike you said you like soldering, check out Northridge Fix channel. He does microsoldering, very cool stuff.
I haven't seen his videos, just checked him out. Looks like another guy that works on a lot of Mac computers in NY. That is some crazy soldering under those microscopes. I don't know if I'm on that level yet!
