      @@azlirameliasdasilva4662 A grande ideia do autor do vídeo é usar o automático de partida pra fazer a conexão, daí permite n variações.

      If you look at the circuit you will see you're actually shorting out the 12v lead acid battery when welding. This could drop the voltage and the relay would then let go. Then the voltage would ride again and the relay connect and so on.... You'd have made a buzzer!

    Well, if you circuit diagram is correct this is unfortunately not a very good device, it simply will not last long. For several reasons:
    1. Your 80A relay is badly underrated for the currents involved (circa 200a).
    2. Your tiny push button is extremely underrated. It's max rating cannot exceed 0.5 A, the current you are pushing through is
    3.7x3/0.22=50.5A!!!! That button is a goner.
    3. Your capacitor is in parallel to the power buttery irrespective of the state of the relay, I can't see it's purpose. Also an inductive pulse
    created in the power wires during welding can easily exceed it's rating of 50V, it can also damage the battery. So protection is
    required, eg a TVS diode.
    4. Duration of the welding pulse depends on nimbleness of your fingers, not a very good idea.
    Of course, if the diagram is not correct the comments above don't apply.

      @blg53 do you have a channel with better spot welder project ? I want to build one

    • @blg53
      @blg53 9 месяцев назад

      @@astasidhy4243 I have built one, but I did not record a video about it. What I suggest you do is to search RUclips with " diy spot welding machine". You will get a lot of hits, but be very selective about which one to imitate, pay attention to my points in the previous post. Some designs involve a car battery, some other batteries, some microwave transformer. The better ones use a timing driver to regulate duration of the welding pulse, often based on the 555 timer. If you chose to make one that is based on a powerful battery + MOSFETs make sure that your driver circuitry is fed by a SEPARATE battery, not the welding one. If you use the same battery for both welding pulse and the driver you will burn your MOSFETs (or the solid state relay) in no time. Good luck with your project.

Someone who knows how to _properly use MORE FLUX_ to get a better solder bond?! • @imnotbeluga007
      @imnotbeluga007 Год назад +3

      @@oxdudepoege Because battery voltage drops quite a bit when a battery is shorted. The short through the metal strip is temporary, and that way it's actually useful.
      So, the requirement for a stable power supply is required.

    • @oxdudepoege
      @oxdudepoege Год назад +2

      @@imnotbeluga007 but is that voltage drop even relevant. The spot welding takes place in a fraction of a second, so it wouldn't matter if the trigger circuit would reset through a lack of power input.
      I think the whole circuit would even benefit if this was the case.
      So one couldn't trigger the high current relay longer than it should be triggerd.

    • @imnotbeluga007
      @imnotbeluga007 Год назад +1

      @@oxdudepoege Possibly so. My problem would be that it would open the relay faster by dropping the capacitor voltage (capacitor would charge battery due to current flow rules), thus getting a weak weld. Consistency is key, and the relay already adds a few milliseconds of randomization, which doesn't really matter. Sure, the voltage difference current flow can be solved with a simple diode..
