He advanced so fast through the minors that I missed TWO chances to see him at A and High A levels. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not in the Rangers outfield by mid season. The kid is a beast.
Langford is just different. He's my RotY next year and I'm a Rangers fan who loves Evan Carter. I see Langford forcing his way on the team right out of spring training.
Nolan Schanuel is honestly amazing. The only guy on the angels actually fulfilling a certain role. That role? Get on base for Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, guys known for their homerun pop. And goddamn is he doing that while having solid pop of his own. Also, he's durable. I was at the monday night game. He hit a foul ball into his knee. He was down for a solid minute and then got up, put on his helmet and the next pitch drove a double down the right baseline.

We've also got Neto and O'Hoppe, who have been fantastic despite their seasons both being cut really short from injuries.

I think its lovely to mention that in the game shown for Tai Peete, both of those hits were grand slams and my SJ giants managed to lose a 9-1 lead because of him

As a tigers fan im still a bit salty we didn't take Langford. When the pick happened i LITERALLY SCREAMED "NOOOO!!!" that being said max Clark does look like a tremendous athlete and he is younger and has more time to develope

As someone who lives in Indiana and heard a lot about max Clark, give it time. I’m pretty sure he front squats over 400, so he is just a freak athlete to begin with. Second, he batted like 600 his senior year

i was thinking the same, but now that leody has done well, dont think there's room for him here. oh well, we'll see him get a real shot in spring training next season. him and carter in the outfield is a gift from the gods

It’s hard being patient waiting for young prospects to get too the majors, and it is fun to watch them progress up through the minors, but I can’t wait to see my Phillies with top prospects P Andrew Painter, P Mick Abel, OF Justin Crawford, and SS Aidan Miller, all called up and contributing…
Looking forward to seeing what Dillon Head can do, Padres have a lot of talent coming up from the ranks. Hoping we can see some guys at Petco next year as some young cheap talent would help us a lot.

Shaw is so good! He definitely will I just never rule anything out when it comes to baseball you know. Sometimes no matter how stacked you are at a position injuries happen and the next man slides right in. However great scouting by the cubbies on Shaw.
I think that’s exactly what’s gonna happen, the Cubs really have no one in the minors except Triantos who could possibly take over 3b at Wrigley. Shaw definitely to my eye looks to be the better hitter and defender to me.

I know he wasn’t a 1st rounder but Ivan Melendez lit it up with 30 HR’s this last season from high A to AA.

To be fair, a lot of the reason Melendez wasn’t a first rounder was that he was a senior in college instead of a junior or sophomore, like college draft picks usually are. So he didn’t have the leverage to be a first round pick even though he is a first round talent. It’ll work out for him if he stays on his current trajectory. Great hitter.

for 1st rounders yes, given Dollander and Lowder didnt throw a pitch. However Waldrep needs to work on the control he's walked way to many the same issues that plagued him in his last season in FL.
