Wyatt Langford's bat speed is as good if not better than any of the players showcased. This kid is going to be a stud with his eye, power and bat control. In addition to his increased body strength, he's also increased his speed. His arm is only average but he'll get to a ton of fly balls. Whoever drafts Wyatt Langford is in for a treat.
@@inthedougout301 No, not better. These two uber talented players could be carbon copies of each other. I would give Langford a slight edge in power but the superlatives are virtually equal. well i can see why that would be important for scouts just based on the fact that its more of an intangible in the sense that it's not something you can really work on , so you either have the ability to pull the barrel through the zone or not , but i would say The Top Priority for me would be command of the strike zone just because baseball nowadays is trending towards guys hitting below the mendoza line with 30 homers a year and a .750 ops , which is crazy when you think about it but if you can get on base that's half the battle and then if you have legit pop then that's all that really matters , i mean you can make the top 10 in the league in batting with a .280 average , the game never really changes but it's changing so much in that regard
I sure hope they take Crews. If skenes and the Washington nationals cross paths in this draft he is off the board, no questions asked, no thoughts made. We could have the 0th pick, and pick into last years draft, or the negative first and reach back to 2021 and we are still taking skenes
Equating the SEC to high-A ball lol. High-A hitters would destroy college pitching. Compare average fastball speed for pitchers in college vs pitchers in high-A. Not even close.
@Caleb Lawson I'm not sold on him. Would be interesting to come back to those convo in a year. I think Max Clarke should go no.1. Of course it's more risky to take a HS player, but I think his skillset alone makes him likely to be successful in the mlb.

Yeah sure he might be but the problem comes into the fact that Cruz is gonna be locking down that SS position, and they can’t put him at 3rd cause of Hayes, and now (this part requires a little hindsight) but they’ll get Temarr Johnson at 2B so you wouldn’t know where to put him.
