Sorry to disagree with you here Blake Robinson but Salvador Perez is basically a Lock for the Hall. He’s a World Series Champion, World Series MVP, 8x All Star, 5x Gold Glove Winner, 4x Silver Slugger, won a Home Run Title with 48 in 2021, won a Comeback Player of the Year in 2020, and is 13th All-Time in Home Runs by a Catcher while only being 15 HR out of the Top 10 All Time at just 33 years old. Even if his Average Home Runs per year drop from 20.5 (he hasn’t hit less than 20 other than the shortened 2020 since 2014) to something like 17.5 over the next 3 years (which would be ~54) that would make him only the 8th Catcher All-Time with 300 Career HR’s. It would take a debilitating injury in the next year or so for him not to be a Lock for the Hall…

Wait, wait, wait. Francisco ALVAREZ? from the Mets. I think you meant Francisco LINDOR. Lindor is pretty much already a hall of famer. You keep saying is “already” 29 while I’m going to say he’s “only” 29. That’s very young. He’s got six or seven seasons of production left and he’s already got 43 bWAR. Average HOF shortstop has 66. So he needs 23 WAR to get there. He’ll get there in 5 or 6 years. 100% the most likely hall of famer on the Mets. And isn’t Kenley Janson on the Red Sox? I feel like he’s got a much better shot than Devers at this point.
I think Cole, Soto, Judge, and Stanton all have reasonably good HOF chances. Judge and Stanton depend on 500 HR threshold most likely, Cole is on a very clear path for 3000 K and Soto is about as obvious a future HOFer as a 25 year old can be. I'm good with choosing Cole here as I think his odds of reaching his milestone are the highest. But Soto also feels like a really clear path too barring anything tragic happening.
Judge will likely hit his 300th HR this year. That gives him 7 seasons on his remaining contract to hit 200 more. Thats not unreasonable if he stays healthy. His production would have to fall off sharply to go under 30/year average over the next 7 years. Assuming he hits 40+ for the next couple seasons in his early 30s his last couple of seasons would need to be 20 hr years, and presently he’s getting to 20 with time to spare before the break. Though if he’s still the reigning AL HR record holder that might push him over the edge even if he’s just shy of 500 G is only 2 years older and has 416. Plus he’s on pace for like 37 this year. That would put him at 439 going into 2025. If he can mash for a couple more seasons and still be productive enough to stay in the lineup for a couple more after that he’s almost a lock for 500. The thing I worry about with the big guys is injury. They hit the ground hard. And their swings are violent. Slamming a 250 pound body on the ground to slide into second and ripping a 2 pound stick through the zone at 80 mph takes a toll.

Devers Ave is 280 Correa's is 272. Use WAR if you like but the other stats are all in Devers' favor.

He’s accumulated almost 30 bWAR and he’s only 25 years old. It would take a career-ending injury for him to not get in one day
Sherzer for Texas? No. He’s not really a ranger. He’s more of a tiger and won’t even complete a season with us before he’s gone
Did you watch my video at all? I clearly stated I was choosing the most likely future hall of famer on each MLB team right now
@@BlakeRobins0n did you not read my comment? Sherzer isn’t really a ranger
@@Searchingwithmatt He is the most likely player on the Rangers right now to make the hall of fame. That's what my video is about.

Repent and trust in Jesus you will be saved I love yall and God bless
I think Cole, Soto, Judge, and Stanton all have reasonably good HOF chances. Judge and Stanton depend on 500 HR threshold most likely, Cole is on a very clear path for 3000 K and Soto is about as obvious a future HOFer as a 25 year old can be. I'm good with choosing Cole here as I think his odds of reaching his milestone are the highest. But Soto also feels like a really clear path too barring anything tragic happening.
Well said
Yankees suck
Judge will likely hit his 300th HR this year. That gives him 7 seasons on his remaining contract to hit 200 more. Thats not unreasonable if he stays healthy. His production would have to fall off sharply to go under 30/year average over the next 7 years. Assuming he hits 40+ for the next couple seasons in his early 30s his last couple of seasons would need to be 20 hr years, and presently he’s getting to 20 with time to spare before the break. Though if he’s still the reigning AL HR record holder that might push him over the edge even if he’s just shy of 500
G is only 2 years older and has 416.
Scandal will keep Altuve and Correa out. No room for cheaters
Altuve never cheated
🤡
@@Markmen-cw8dj bs. They all took part. The whole team is complicit even if the only proof of him not cheating is that people said so. Buzz buzz

No way Betts over Shohei
100%. If both of them retired tomorrow, Mookie gets in while Shohei doesn’t
Remind me how many MVPs does Betts have? You also should consider Shohei's nationality and his two-way playing. @@BlakeRobins0n
sale over acuna imo
lol
I know Sale's prime was ridiculous, but honestly don't know if he has enough to get in one day
Correa will make it but Devers unlikely???? What are you smoking?
While Devers is 2 years younger than Correa, he has 22 WAR less than him. He’s very bad defensively, and I’m not sure his bat makes up for it enough
@BlakeRobins0n Devers is just a bit over 2 years younger and has just a bit over two years less service time. Using 2023 numbers for extrapolation purposes to pull them even in service time you get Devers with 238 HRs to Correa's 173. Devers' RBI: 755 to Correa's 618 and Devers' has 709 runs to 568. Devers Ave is 280 Correa's is 272. Use WAR if you like but the other stats are all in Devers' favor.
Devers defense sucks, no way is he HOF material.
Agreed, that’s probably what will hold him back
Now hear me out no doubt Trout is greatest player except maybe Bonds but if he doesn’t get at least 450 HR idk if he deserves hall of fame
let’s all laugh at this guy
Wtf are you taking about? The guy is in already if he never played another game in his life. He has more WAR than Ken Griffey Jr and Joe DiMaggio for christs sake. He’s 5th ALL TIME in CF WAR and he’s still playing. What are you smoking?
Trout is a Top 10 Player of all time. He's 52nd in career WAR and is still 32 years old.
Soto is so overrated
you dont know ball kid
Ohtani not in hall of fame??? He is already in....what the heck are you talk about.....😂😂😂😂
He’s not in the hall of fame right now
No joke. He is already a lock even if he regresses a bit.
Wrong
Gerritt Cole will never get in…Soto or Judge.
Cole is a lock to get in unless he has a career ending injury
No way he’s more likely than Soto or Judge. And if he somehow does, he’s an absolute outermost circle guy.
Agree with just about all of this. Trout and Kershaw can retire now and both will make it. Judge will not make it. Ohtani will not make it.
I think Judge and Ohtani both will make it honestly. Their numbers are ridiculous already and should they both stay fairly healthy over the remainder of their contracts, I think their resumes will be enough to get in
You got that room temp IQ
@@BlakeRobins0n judge turns 32 when the season starts. judge needs 226 hrs for 500 career hr, and 500 isn't even a guarantee for HOF. judge will def not get there. as for ohtani he probably does just because he's doing both at a high level. i just dont trust ohtani to stay healthy long enough to make the HOF.
