@@lanceroflunar6719 nope not really, we already know what's releasing on fall and it's only the Tab S9 line for big screens, the Book line historically releases during February/April
Quick question, I see that you folded the laptop screen back where it's still standing up. Does the laptop screen fold completely down to be more tablet-like?
@@gebauzchris I just thought I'd ask since he never actually folded it flat. It came across to me as if he was intentionally not folding it all the way because it can't. Also, there are laptops that have "360" in the name but can't actually fold 360 degrees flat.
For people constantly comparing it to Apple: Does Apple convert into a tablet? Can you use touch screen? Write on it with a stylus? Does it has OLED screen? I don't know why people compare the two. Because they both are two computers, and both cost a lot of money? They are completely different from each other, appealing to people who want slightly different things in life 😒 After using Microsoft surface & HP envy 360 for years, now on Asus zenbook duo, even with 2 displays, I miss the most versatility of convertible and screen writing.
I would recommend people look at the ASUS Zenbook 14.5. Better if not similar specs, at a lower retail, and just as nice if better build quality. I just used both devices over a weeks time frame and I much prefer the Zenbook overall.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look it up. The MacBook Air is great but I need a Windows laptop for my work. Difficult to find a well rounded Windows laptop as good as the Air.
IMO, the previous generations were very meh because of the below average displays, somewhat flimsy hinge, etc But now, I might just buy the next generation as my next laptop since I'm considering ditching my tablet and just using a 360 laptop instead
Having used this for three months I have my own thoughts. For the base 8GB/256GB it is £1550 which is currently £280 more than the same spec MB Air 15-inch. Samsung prices outside the US are not so good. My take; battery life is average, around 8 hours on a good day and not even close to a MB Air M2. The display is the main draw but side by side with a MB Air and there is not that much difference for daily stuff. The problem is that as a tablet in your hands, it is big, bulky and heavy and really not a great experience, such that I do not use it for tablet stuff. I hate the numpad as I am 40+ years using none and it messes with my brain; I am too old and not being paid enough to get use to that layout. A bad choice by Samsung and Apple got that right. Speakers are far better on a Mac for music at least. I could not recommend it and the only reason I bought it was that I got a great deal on eBay from someone wanting to offload it. I got it at 60% off! I do agree that a 14-inch version would be the way to go and maybe the non-360 (is just £100 more than the Air 15) to save some money as the tablet part can be painful for some use cases.
It might get in the way of your palms while resting on that empty space, good idea though if they can figure it out, or just make a standard size keyboard with num pad the default width and build from that l size
Would it be too bold of me to suggest looking at the new acer chromebook spin 714 with a 13th Gen i5 8gb of ram and 256gb of storage? It's actually pretty nice. Just wish it had a micro SD card slot and maybe more ram and storage. But it's snappy. Does video editing through lumafusion. It's 14" 16x10 screen and is actually pretty close in size and weight to a MacBook air. If someone is looking for an android equivalent.
The screen wobble is horrendous. I knew after 2 minutes that this was a deal breaker. Shocking design Samsung. Yes it’s a 2 in 1 but still no excuse for the inadequate hinges. I returned it for a refund. Apparently the Ultra with a better hinge also suffers. Dell get a lot of stick for not updating their fan technology etc. but their build quality is in a different league to these Samsungs. So it’s back to the noisy fans but a beautiful stable screen!
The 8gb Ram, i5, 256gb is the worst performing laptop I've ever purchased, I hate the fact you can't add more ram as that is the only issue I'm having with it.
I have five Chrome tabs open on my i5/8GB/256GB, and I am at 7.8GB RAM used. I have reverted to Firefox, and those five tabs use about 7GB of RAM. I recommend buying the 16GB version if you multitask more than a few browser tabs.
I love my Galaxy Book2 Pro 360! Samsung is Killing it with the Galaxy Book Series, can't wait til this fall when it's time to Upgrade! 2:15
why wait till fall? is something happening there?

Yes.
Yes, that's why it's called 360 and he mentions it in the review.

Thx for the review. Would've been nice if you had mentioned the super shiny, highly reflective screen as that's good information to know.

Don’t buy the zenbook if you care about the display. It has a bad screendoor effect on its display unlike the Samsung model.

Is the Book 3 pro 360 a good laptop for programming?. I am a college student and I'm gonna do a lot of programming courses next semester.
Yes it is
But does it have FinalCutPro?
I feel it should be a lot cheaper and offer a better a selection of screen sizes as you eluded to.
13 inch model would have been nice
Why has no one ever thought to put a numeric keypad to the right of the touchpad aligned against the edge of the chassis? (BELOW the main keyboard)

Still not there for me, but a good step up from Sammy
S22 ultra pen works on it ?
This makes me miss more the Sony's VAIO's
I would like to see Sony return to the laptop arena as well.
Im thinking of buying the galaxy book 3 360 for the compact size
Hi, did you buy?
What is the read-write speed of 512gb versus 1 terabyte hard disk
Lenovo and Asus too can compete and soon Framework 16 inch.

Love Android, love Samsung

btw it cant come with 32 gb of ram? 3:15
It’s confusing. In the US it has only one configuration, but the official press release mentions 3.
@@Pocketnow Oh, bizarre, the uk version does have 3: 8gb i5 256gb, 16gb i7 512gb and a 1tb version
I find it's trackpad extremely large...
would rather buy the macbook for this price.
Responding directly to title of this video.
Hard no!
Sounds very expensive (i7/16Go: 2200€ in France) for a PC without a "real" GPU... Because clearly, Intel Iris Xe Graphics sucks (a lot)!
Needs an AMD chip

was this video sponsored by Samsung?
Haha we wish
Yeah, but the Air is faster and has better customer service. Samsung service sucks.
There are far more compelling products than the galaxy book
Don't judge even before using it in person.
Funny how you run your mouth without giving at least one or more examples of better laptops than the Galaxy Book that "compete" with a Macbook Air.
hp envy x360, Asus vivobook line, and Lenovo's Thinkpad range.
The Asus zephyrus g14. Most mid range and laptops
@@corey7219 absolutely not true... not even the hp spectre. it is an all-round beautiful machine... try your hands on one.
😳😂 Oh Samsung, always good for a laugh. Like desperately promoting this by mentioning Apple's 15-inch MacBook Air. 🤭🤣🤦♂
This does NOT compete with a MacBook Air 15”.The Air will outsell it by millions.
Bro Apple is so much better.
Unupgradable and unrepairable? No thanks
